Four of us met up for a Saturday AM breakfast. We were quickly seated in a comfortable booth. The menu has a number of selections, but I was conservative and just had some eggs, potatoes, sausage and toast. Everything was pretty tasty. Our server was hustling, but it looked like he was covering too many tables, so it took a while for all the things we requested to come out. The child gave it a 5, kids French toast was ok to me, was eggy(which adults want) and made with challah bread. She didn't really care for it but ate it with cream sauce and other one. The kids pancake was gone in a flash! The bacon had great flavor and cooked well. The biscuit was a lil too doughy to my friend and I both(reminded me of a McDonalds biscuit) grits very creamy, eggs and sausage good. We all had waters to hydrate. Met some friends for breakfast and this place is so good! The hangover hash and the high flyer were our choices! Our son ordered a biscuit with the signature cranberry apple butter (epic) and a side of scrambled eggs with cheese. The orange juice was so good. The biscuits are fluffy and light. The combination of flavors were so good in the hash. The restaurant is small but it's exactly what we needed. We could talk and the boys could run around until time to eat. They have lawn games out front so the boys could play. Which is excellent if you have young kids. Our server was the best and she had great recommendations for us. Stopped here on the way home from sullivans island just off of Yelp reviews The restaurant was pretty packed & now I understand why!! We were able to find seats at the bar quickly but a table would have been a 30 min wait. I got a bottle of champagne (mimosa) for only $15!!! I've been to places where a carafe is $15 or more . I am extremely disappointed with my experience here, especially because this is a restaurant I genuinely enjoy visiting whenever I'm in Mount Pleasant, SC. Our server, who I believe was named Jamie she has a septum piercing and kinda heavy set up top, had an extremely poor attitude from the moment we were seated. She never checked back with us to see if we needed anything, including drink refills, and we had to ask other employees for assistance. Her behavior was not only inattentive but also incredibly unprofessional. What really bothered me was the way she spoke about other customers as she walked away from their tables. At one point, she said, "What the fuck is wrong with people?" loud enough for customers to hear. When I asked her for a coffee refill for my grandfather, she loudly said "fuck" and threw her hands up. That is completely unacceptable behavior toward paying customers. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my eggs and had to send my food back. Instead of simply apologizing and handling the situation professionally, she made a smart remark suggesting that the hair was mine. For the record, my hair is brown and curly, while the hair I found in my food was blonde and straight. Mistakes can happen in restaurants, but the way an employee responds to those mistakes and treats customers says a lot about the establishment. If someone is having a bad day or does not want to be at work, that should never become the customer's problem. Hospitality is supposed to be about making customers feel welcomed and respected. This experience was the complete opposite. I sincerely hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses this employee's behavior, because based on what I experienced, this level of customer service should not be acceptable. I have enjoyed coming here in the past, but after this experience, I will seriously reconsider returning. Management needs to know what is happening on the floor when customers are being treated this way. read more

We had a great breakfast here the other day. The service was fantastic and our server replenished our mimosas without even asking. Everything was great. The restaurant was busy, but we were easily seated within a few minutes. The pricing was perfect for the location and meal options. The kids meal we ordered was larger than expected as well. The only thing I would say is the eggs Benedict was not truly like a Benedict with the hollandaise sauce. It felt bland and did not have much flavor. Our waiter was awesome - he was attentive, helpful with recommendations and super friendly, even though the place was slammed. I got a caramel latte to start which was great. For my main I got the pancake tacos with bacon and I LOVED THEM!! I've never found anywhere that makes pancake tacos - when I was kid I made a (worse) version of them so I have a special nostalgia for taco pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs were done almost like an omelette so they don't fall out of the pancake - honestly best pancake tacos I've ever had!! 10/10! My mom got the hangover hash (no hangover needed) and also loved it. The biscuit and jam were also great! The place has a lot of charm - it's colorful, eclectic and silly in the best ways. This location is smaller than others and I understand why people wrote about the service being slow especially if they are busy. But...don't that stop you from visiting this location. The kitchen was behind, but the service from our waiter was amazing. I wish I would've gotten his name, but he continue to check on me and my daughter, he refilled our drinks and convince me to get a pineapple mimosa, which was so good! Came here on a Sunday late morning and was busy as expected, but we could sit at the bar right away (which is first come first serve).
