If you want one of the best burgers in Charleston then bohemian is the place! (Wednesdays are half off burger nights by the way.) but the entire menu is fantastic! I've had almost everything from the apps, to smash burgers and salads and you can't go wrong. They have a great drink selection and some of my favorite margaritas. The staff is always very friendly and the prices are great. It's a great spot for any occasions. Including family outings. There is a big outdoor section that includes a stage, fire pit, picnic tables and what used to be axe throwing (not sure if they still do this though). Style inside is an eclectic mixed of different styles. We started with the fried pickles which I usually like but these were t quite to my taste. Just a personal preference thing, I feel like the pickles inside were more of a deli style pickle than an off the shelf super briny dill? But still good. I had the Getting Smash Burger which I really enjoyed, and the burger sauce (I think just ketchup and mayo) fit perfectly. My kids loved their burgers and fries. I stopped by for lunch. I've been wanting to try the Bull for a while. The ambience is comfortable and relaxed. With the word "Bohemian" in its name would you expect anything else? When we arrived, we were greeted by the host and our server, Katelynn. The service was friendly, and our food was good. However, our experience took a disappointing turn when it came time to pay. Katelynn told us our total was $95, immediately took my card, and processed the payment. After I selected the tip, she quickly took the payment device back before I had a chance to review the total, and I had to ask for my receipt. She said she would be right back, but my family and I waited about 10 minutes before she finally returned with a folded receipt. When I looked at the receipt in the car, I noticed the actual total was $78, not $95. We immediately went back inside and spoke with the manager, Joey. He told us that Katelynn had "accidentally" added a dessert to our bill and later removed it. What concerns me is that no one informed us of this change before we left, despite the fact that I had already been told my total was $95 and had tipped based on that amount. Had I not asked for my receipt and reviewed it afterward, I likely never would have noticed the discrepancy. This experience left me questioning the billing practices and attention to detail at this establishment. Whether it was an honest mistake or not, customers should be informed immediately when their bill changes after payment is processed. Transparency is essential, especially when it affects the total charged and the tip calculated from that amount. I encourage anyone dining here to review their receipt carefully before paying, and Bohemian Bull, please do better. Customers deserve accurate billing and clear communication. read more

Had an excellent meal at Bohemian Grill! The appetizer of fried ocra in a delicious dipping sauce was fantastic and really set the tone--definitely a 5-star experience overall. My only suggestion would be to serve the sweet potato fries hotter, as they were just barely warm. Still, everything else was great! Ample parking at the James Island location. We went for lunch so not overly crowded but this is definitely a tourist stop in as it was Easter week and as we were leaving around 2pm they were starting to pour in. That's pretty impressive for a Saturday at 2pm! Service was very friendly and efficient, worth the 20% tip. Relaxed nice vibe. I have never had a bad meal here! Their appetizers are delicious and pretty big portion. They have tons of TVs so great place to watch any sports games, but don't expect the sound to be on. Bohemian is one of my go-to spots! I've had almost everything on their menu and am satisfied every time. My personal favorites are the truffle burger and Buffalo boneless wings (their siracha wings are great too!) oh and let's not forget those deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts! 9/10 out of their service is great. My only complaint is with one female bartender(IYKYK) that has no sense of awareness or urgency. The bar could have 2 people or it could have 20 and you'll have to wait 10-15 minutes to be greeted if you're lucky. If you're unlucky, it'll take 30+ minutes. (Unfortunately this has happened on multiple occasions and now I avoid going if I see her working because I know service is going to be crap.) The atmosphere is fun and "hip". Outdoors is def where you want to be during the summer or in the cool weather for an oyster roast. There's a stage for live music, a Photo Booth, games, a fire pit and an ax throwing section (though to be honest I haven't seen much axe throwing so I believe they no longer do this.) I def recommend if you're looking for a good burger, good beer, or some dark liquor. Their bourbon selection is pretty broad. read more

Our server came right up to us for a beverage order, club sodas for both! We decided to split the brussels sprout appetizer on each get a small Caesar. The brussels sprouts are absolutely amazing. The Caesar salads were underwhelming. One of the salads actually had the end of ahead of Romain in it. The dressing was very bland. it would've been a lot better if it was homemade rather than Ken's out of the big gallon! once again, I do wanna say that our server was fantastic. The website says no reservations, so we did not make one. We had a large party and went to get some drinks and mingle with family we haven't seen in over a year. The service was bad, and the waiters/waitresses were very rude to everyone in our party. This was also the night prior to a wedding that friends and family traveled 8+ hours for. This used to be a family style place where we could come and visit and have fun out back. Now, we will not be returning here. We only got the fried green tomatoes but they were cold when they came out as well. Won't be back, and I don't recommend especially for a large party with a family. read more

The review I left prior was not the same experience I had on Friday night. I chose this restaurant due to my previous experience and thought the laid back atmosphere and outside space would be great for a large group of people to meet, all of whom are here on Folly for my Saturday wedding. The manager was an absolute asshole - rude to our entire party saying "this is not what we do here" when we were trying to mingle outside, order food and drinks and provide business to his restaurant. He kept referring to my family and friends as "the large walk in party that didn't have a reservation" even though the website states the restaurant does not take reservations. Of note - when we walked in, 5 servers were sitting at the front and the restaurant was practically empty. The bar tender did not want to serve us drinks. They only sat a portion of our party and it wasn't until my sister's family were walking out the door to leave, did they stop them and give them a table, even though several were open. The outside area did not have the same vibe as before - no fire pits, outside games or tables and milling about and visiting was heavily discouraged. I will never advise anyone to visit this restaurant and I hope this review is directly discussed with the rudest restaurant manager I have ever encountered in my 44 years! read more
