Servers are very nice we didn't know what to get and she made great recommendations super friendly, we even went on a busy weekend and service was top notch. The servers were all pleasant, and quickly took us to our table. Service was quick and food came out quickly! The food was so flavorful and fresh. Definitely savored every bite! I especially loved the Hangover Hash, it was exactly what I was cravig with the savory ground meat with perfect bite sized hash potatoes! My family & I visited for our first time the morning of 7/24/25. With the reviews we read, we just knew it would be an AMAZING experience. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in to when we met our server to when we got our food, it was a very unwelcoming and blah experience. The young lady who seated us wasn't friendly. She looked like we were bothering her & only ended up going back to talk at the bar area once she got us to our table. We got the same type of thing from our server. I don't remember his name - I don't even think he told us. He asked about drinks and gave us time to look at the sticky menus. I was immediately ready to leave, but my family was starving and wanted to stay. So, we did. He brought us some hard as a brick biscuits that tasted like KFC biscuits. I ordered bacon and a pancake. It wasn't anything special. It tasted like Hungry Jack to me. My son got chicken and waffles. He loved the chicken but hated the waffle because it was burnt. My other family member got some biscuit, egg, and chicken thingy with a side of grits and bacon. He wasn't happy because it was the same brick hard biscuits that were originally brought to us. Maybe they were made the night before...??? He liked everything else. Anyway, I won't be back. I truly didn't enjoy the experience & I can get less attitude and better pancakes at IHOP or home. Grabbed breakfast from here recently and enjoyed everything! We were seated immediately at about 8:30 AM on the weekend, but it was starting to fill up more as we left. Our server was polite and present throughout our meal. I ended up getting the Piedmont omelette with a hot latte on the side, while my wife got almost the exact same thing :) Her latte was decaf, though! Our biscuits came out before anything else, and they were very tasty! I really liked the apple butter and the biscuit was flavorful, although some bites were a little too salty. Next, my latte arrived, and it was solid! They didn't have whole milk so it had to be made with 2%, but no big deal :) Finally, I thought the omelette was pretty darn good, and the side of roast potatoes were also tasty. The small container of hollandaise sauce served on the side was only OK, but no big deal. My meal ended up being quite a bit of food so I had to leave it unfinished. I will say my wife had a slightly more negative opinion of the omelette ("meh!") and latte ("watery!"), so experiences may differ a bit. I thought the prices were pretty reasonable and the parking situation outside wasn't bad. Overall, I'd definitely come back here to grab breakfast. read more

Love flying biscuit and this was my first time at this location. I'm shocked to say it was not busy when we got there at 8:15am on a Saturday morning. Which was perfect because we had a group of 14. Great spot for a group breakfast. They have these really cool murals on their wall. You're treated to the same delicious menu you find at all Flying Biscuits. I'll admit, I've never gotten the same thing twice because there are so many good options. This time I got the breakfast sandwich which they make on an English muffin (which I wanted - not a biscuit breakfast sandwich person) and the delicious grits. A few in our group were new to Flying Biscuit and raved about the biscuits and the grits. I really enjoyed my breakfast sandwich and would get it again. My family and I went to The Flying Biscuit Cafe for brunch while visiting family for the holidays, and this is way better than so many of the breakfast/brunch places that we've tried by us. The biscuits were fluffy and delicious, french toast wasn't dry, bacon was crispy, and service was quick! I thought my moon dusted potatoes were a little dry, as well as the kids' chicken tenders, but the chicken tenders were still large and crispy. Enjoyable as Flying Biscuit's Brier Creek and Chapel Hill locations! I came in craving their fluffy biscuits. I'm happy they came out the way I knew they would! Each location has its own decor. This one features "Live Well, Cary" on the back wall. Our server was amiable and easy to talk to. I chose their seasonal turkey hash and my mother chose the traditional Flying Biscuit breakfast. We have been here probably half a dozen times and not sure what happened but there was a significant decline in the food overall. This was a great location! The wait was quite accurate if you add yourself to the waitlist online. Halfway through the wait I had tocall them to change the party number and they were quick to adjust for me. The waitress was sweet and prompt and never rushed me and my friends as we were so fixated on catching up with each other and took some time to order. I notices the menu looked a little different from the one in Brier Creek, but quite a few of the same things. Three of us came here before catching a flight in RDU nearby. We were seated right away, which was great because most of the tables were full, and our waitress came after a few minutes and got our drink order. There are tables menu is large and has both breakfast and lunch items. We all got breakfast . Two of us got the stuffed cheesecake French toast breakfast which came with eggs, grits and sausage. The biscuits were brought to the table first with some apple butter. I preferred real butter but by the time I could get the waitress attention my biscuit was cold. It was ok, just not my favorite biscuit. The meal was good, could have been hotter, but was all good. My water was never refilled and the other girls had to ask for more coffee. The decor is nice and the tables were cleaned quickly. I would give the food a 4 star but the service a 3 star. Not attentive or very friendly. Probably will not return. read more

This place was incredible from start to finish! I googled best breakfast near me and this place was on top and it did not disappoint! Customer service was great from the moment we walked in! They had lots of servers and they were all friendly! The decor is cute and inviting and everything appeared clean and organized. My wife got the stuffed French toast and I got the honey butter chicken and waffles. Both were outstanding! We also got the loaded potatoes and a hot chicken and waffles to go. For such a popular spot the wait was less than 10 minutes on a Sunday morning. Our server, Jessica, went above and beyond for us look for a specific creamer for coffee and checking to make sure all was well. I order the scrambled eggs with salmon and it wasn't what I expected. There was salmon in every bite of egg and I was surprised and happy. However, I wasn't a fan of the grits. The rest of my family enjoyed their meal as well. We will be sure to visit again. read more

We ordered the usual breakfast fare: eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle, pancakes. Most meals come with grits and biscuits so it was plenty of food. All the food was tasty. The grits were a bit watery, but had good flavor. The only ding was the coffee. My mom had hot decaf and she didn't like it and I had a mocha latte and it tasted like chocolate milk. I visited here at 12:20pm on a Saturday afternoon with my son and a friend. We went to Raleigh location first but it was 1-1.5 hr wait... i called this location and it was only a 15-20 minute wait. When we got here, we waited less than 10 minutes. As we went to the table, the floor was dirty. They noticed and decided to sweep before seating us, which was good. The waiter came over at 12:31pm with waters and biscuits that were delicious! He brought over a kids menu for my son. We ordered at 12:46pm. The waiter took a while to come back after dropping off the biscuits. My friend got the chicken and waffles, my son got the French toast, and I got the stuffed French toast with eggs and moon potatoes. The food came at 1:04pm. My fork wasn't clean. I didn't realize until flipping it over and seeing food stuck to it, ew. On the other hand, the food was VERY delicious! All of us enjoyed it thoroughly! With the biscuits, the meal was filling! We initially wanted mimosas and other drinks but this location doesn't have it. I'll note that although the name of the establishment is the same as others in the area, they all aren't affiliated with each other. I plan to return! I'm a huge fan of the Flying Biscuit Cafe. My husband and I are regulars at the Raleigh location and are thrilled to now have one in Cary! The online waitlist is an added convenience. When I signed on, the waitlist time was 30-45 minutes. The Live waitlist shows how many people are ahead of you. The estimated wait time was very accurate! I ordered the Freebird: a split biscuit with 2 fried chicken tenders, 2 fried eggs, grits and sausage gravy. I ordered the gravy on the side and took half of my meal home! First I want to give a shout out to the hostess..although I forgot her name, she was extremely accommodating. We arrived 10 minutes before closing initially I wasn't going to go in, but my aunt insisted we give it a try. When we walked up to the door, it was still open and the hostess was there. Once again, the hostess being very accommodating saidsaid no worries. Let me see what I can do....moments later, she came out with two decadent biscuits. These biscuits were so fluffy soft warm and flavorful they came with a side of apple butter. They were simply delicious. If the name flying biscuit means anything these biscuits felt like a trip to the moon. The chicken and waffles were also great very flavorful. The waffle was delicious, it came with three large pieces of chicken crispy flavorful chicken. For this not to be a soul food restaurant, the collard greens didn't disappoint. We could have done without the dusted potatoes they were a little on the dry side l. They weren't bad but they weren't anything to write home about either.
