We stopped by on a Wednesday morning at around 9 AM. Not crowded at all. This location does not have any weekday breakfast specials. We both had regular coffee. I had the chicken and waffles. Chicken was super crisp and the waffle was good. Hubby had the southern comfort scramble. Those potatoes were delicious !! Before the meal was served we both received a biscuit with apple butter. I love having brunch at the Flying Biscuit. The atmosphere is super cool and I absolutely adore the sunflower mural. They have comfortable seating inside and out and the place is welcoming. The staff members are super nice and genuinely seem to like working there. Their biscuits are heavenly and they bring each person at the table their own biscuit before the meal is served. I love love love their moon dusted potatoes. They also have a great coffee and cocktail menu. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered there. I gave 4 stars because their bathroom is terrifying. You have to touch the handle to enter the bathroom and exit the bathroom. There are no paper towels so there is no way to leave the bathroom with clean hands. Today we had the Nashville hot chicken appetizer (four tenders in a generous amount of Nashville hot sauce). For entres I had the southern eggs benedict with moon dusted potatoes and my wife had the Meggsican wrap with the potatoes. Everything was delicious, it would be hard to pick a favorite. The real star of all of it though is the complimentary biscuit they serve. After googling I came across this restaurant, I then went to my handy yelp to get a little more reviews. I decided on this place as I was in the area for work. There is plenty of parking. We entered, was greeted and quickly seated. The warming decorations of the reataurant and holiday spirit gave good vibes. So, I was traveling with my family and we decided to try this place. It was down the street from the hotel we stayed at. It seems to be a very busy spot so went early around 10 am. He had 2 plates with 2 biscuits on each plate. But apparently each person gets one biscuits and it was only 3 people at my table. He took his bare hand and grabbed one of the biscuits off a plate and put it in another plate and walked off with it. I've worked in food service over 20 years that was unsanitary and unprofessional. We also ordered the frickles for a starter. They came out hot and had a good crispness to them. They were good but kind of average in terms of flavor. The batter could have been seasoned better. As my entree I ordered the Biggie in a Blanket. It was two large chicken sausages dipped in batter, similar to a corn dog.
