The grits were cooked perfectly with a nice thick texture and nicely salted. I was amazed at the portion of bacon that came in the wrap and the chicken was seasoned well. Big portion and worth the money. I appreciate the fact that it's open seating without a traditional host stand. The dining room is causal, colorful, cozy, and well lit. Went to Biscuit Belly for their Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week lunch special and the Buffalo Ranch Biscuit was incredible! The chicken was moist and crispy. The buffalo sauce was not too spicy, the ranch almost had an aioli flavor, the pickles brought in some sweetness and the biscuit was fluffy. My phone died before I could take a picture of the lavender mimosa but it was THE BEST mimosa I've ever had. They have indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor seating has a nice view towards downtown. They are open for breakfast and lunch only so be sure to check the hours before going. Stopped in while in town for a concert. First off, the restaurant has the cutest vibes. We were greeted by the friendliest staff. Parking was easy to find and the restaurant validates for the garages. My friend and I each had a biscuit and shared the gravy train. All I can say is YUM! The mushroom gravy was to die for! I've ordered sausage, egg & biscuits from other restaurants where the sausage patty is so tiny that it doesn't even fill up the biscuit. My husband ordered The One & Done which he said was good but not as flavorful as he's used to when he makes it himself.
