Flyover is an experience that every tourist will need to try. It's essentially soaring at Disneyland and Disney World, but with a longer duration and higher-quality visuals. We tried the Chicago and the American West for the special deal we found online. Both were excellent. If you're afraid of heights or have vertigo, this might not be the attraction for you. It gets a bit pricey, but the experience is worthwhile. Once you're seated, the chair is all move forward and you are suspended in mid air so your legs are dangling with nothing underneath you. Pro tip: wear shoes. Staff is friendly and each time slot fills up pretty quickly so book early!

This was an amazing immersive ride. I felt completely surrounded, and engaged in the virtual environment. The light shaking, wind, and light sprinkles made it feel like I was on an actual (not virtual) ride. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

When you are not gambling and dining take some time for entertainment during the day. You can see beautiful sites in a simulator type of ride and see lots of different places. You see everything in a huge screen and fly over many different places. The ride is about 30 minutes. We will definitely have a do over.

If you've ever been on the California adventure ride then this is exactly like it. An immersive experience where you're flying over the designated city or state that you choose. Theres about 4 different options to choose from or you can get a bundle deal and see multiple. I believe each one is about 30-45 minutes. We did the wonders of the American West and it was so cool to see all the history and different cities. Great experience. There is also a bar that serves both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, some snack and they have a gift shop.

Another 4.5 stars I wish Yelp would allow me to give, but this time I'm rounding up. FlyOver Las Vegas is like Disneyland's Soarin' on steroids... We got tickets for "Chicago" and it was so, so well done - almost too well done as a number of flyers including yours truly were definitely experiencing vertigo! My one nitpick is that the video portion before the ride is rather long. I suppose it's to help justify the ticket price, but honestly it's not really necessary.

Came here with my coworkers on a Wednesday afternoon. We booked the 4PM showing in advance and came 15 minutes early. The hallway to the ride was super cool and we stopped to take photos. There was also another photo area with a green screen and we took some photos there as well before entering the viewing area. We stood in a circle watching a video before going into another room to get seated. We weren't allowed to record but it was a chill experience. The ride was maybe around 10-15 minutes long. We chose the Iceland option and the views were gorgeous. When we flew into the clouds, we felt water spray onto us which was immersive for sure haha. Definitely a family friendly experience!

We did the fly over Iceland and it was so incredibly fun and beautiful. We are both bigger ladies and we had no issues. The feeling of being in the hang glider is so much fun. There are times where they blow wind in your face and there's a light mist of water. It really helps enhance the realistic feel of it. It is a super fun experience and I definitely recommend it!

FlyOver Las Vegas delivers a surprisingly elevated Strip experience that goes beyond the typical tourist attraction. I went in expecting something gimmicky and walked out genuinely impressed. The operation is well-organized from start to finish--staff keep things moving efficiently without making it feel rushed. The pre-show is actually worth paying attention to (don't skip it), as it adds context and builds anticipation instead of just filling time. As for the main event: the ride is smooth, immersive, and visually stunning. The combination of motion, wind effects, and subtle scents creates a convincing sensation of flight without being overwhelming. It strikes a nice balance--thrilling enough to be exciting, but accessible for most people. A couple of minor notes: it's on the shorter side for the price point, and seating position can slightly affect your view depending on your row. Still, the overall production quality makes up for it. Pro tip: book in advance and aim for an earlier time slot to avoid heavier crowds. All in all, FlyOver is a solid addition to the Vegas activity lineup--great for visitors and locals who want a break from the usual casino scene.

My son absolutely loved this place! He did the Chicago fly over and he was very impressed with the ride. He said it felt very real like you literally were flying over it all. I'm afraid of heights so I stayed out but I was so jealous about his experience and how fun it sounded and realistic I'll definitely be giving it a try next visit.

We decided to do this yesterday on a whim and bought the tickets for the 3:30 PM experience. I thought it was really interesting and I did feel like I was soaring. It's not scary and I would definitely do it again! I really enjoyed the scenery and I felt like I was flying effortlessly over the western part of the US. It was very surreal and I think it would be fun to do this after eating mushrooms. The gift shop offers a lot of memorabilia like sweatshirts and T-shirts and stuffed animals. You know the usual! They also sell food, which did not look very healthy I would say the check-in process was not as flawless as it could've been. All in all I would say it was worth doing and I would come back. I wish I was allowed to take pictures but everyone had to put their phones away.

Such a cool experience. Anyone who has been to California Adventure and taken a ride on Soarin this is very similar. The cinematography is very well done and we loved the pre ride show. You enter the seats, buckle up and the ride begins. Scenes are complimented with movement, water mist and some scent bursts. We throughly enjoyed both the Canadian Rockies + American West shows. Highly recommend trying it at least once.

The newest flight, Chicago, is amazing! It's got great views and a lot of action. Some of Chicago might be too scary for little kids. But, Iceland, Canada and the West are all great family fun! Great bar, too!

So much fun ! The staff were super helpful and nice. They have a bar inside. The restroom was super clean. I first did the wonders of the American west and that was such I nice fly over , not scary and not a lot motion. Also sometimes we were able to smell the ocean. It was nice ! There is an area under your chair to put your bags. There is also an extra security belt if you're under a certain height. I believe this is more for kids. I also got on the Chicago Flyover it was so beautiful and nice to see the city especially if you have never been, I will say that flyover had a lot more motion! So if you have motion sickness maybe this wouldn't be the best one to view. Overall great experience, super fun and different from the stuff there is to do on the strip.

Ask the Community - FlyOver Las Vegas

Are there Military/Veteran discounts available? I called and they do have a military discount but if you choose 2 sessions it's cheaper to book it online.

I'm a veteran and generally look for discounts based on my service. I didn't see a veteran's rate.

What do the drink prices look like?

Mocktails are around $15, Signature drinks are $20. They also have 2 for $4 Jello shots. Ask for Coddie, she is amazing!

Is there weight limit are the seat big?

My son weighs well over 350, and they never said anything to him. He says the seats are big enough for him. He's very comfortable, we've been on the ride many times.

How long is the actual ride itself not including extras?

I rode the Canadian Rockies and Grand canyon today and both were 35 minutes long each.

What's the best ride of the 3?

Iceland! But honestly they are all good. You can't go wrong!

Are there height requirements ? Can a 3 year old ride it?

I believe he can be buckled in. It's fun though a little costly.

Is this like Disney's Soarin? I love that ride.

It's very much like Soarin'. But longer. Highly recommend it. We did the Southwest one and we loved it.

    How long are the rides?

The actual ride itself probably wasn't any more than 10 or 15 minutes. But there's quite a bit of standing around before the ride. You'll stand around for maybe 10 minutes in a room with a large projected picture on the wall, then you'll stand… Read more

How can you go wrong with an electric powered vehicle that was designed for bumping into other cars? Well, head on collisions can really mess up your back, spine, or whatever other skeletal terms you wanna go by. That is why for this track you are only supposed to go in one direction. In this case, counter clockwise. Still you will have those people that either dont know how to drive or just wanna be idiots and bump into everybody or both. You must be 54 inches tall to drive, at least 42 to ride. Before you are even let on to the track, you have those measuring sticks there at the entrance. Make sure to buckle up or the attendant walking around will not let the fun begin. Each car can fit two people if one is not tall enough to drive. There is only the one gas pedal on the left. To slow down or stop, simply just take your foot off the pedal. Or you can just bump into somebody if you wanna stop right away. To back up towards whatever direction you wanna go just turn the steering wheel to all the way to the extreme right or left. In the end, even after all this info, some people just dont know how to drive. Dont let any of these people drive you to the hospital. If im not mistaken I think the overall time given to drive around is 5 minutes. Yelp 2014 365 Review Challenge #172 "Road rage starts here"
