Coconut blueberry pancakes, veggie omelette and veggie burrito
    John M.

Came here on a BUSY Monday morning with my fiancé. There was one waitress working the entire restaurant and she was BUSTING ASS. This is the kind of worker you want in the restaurant industry. She outdid herself and was friendly and accommodating the entire time. Whatever she's making - double it. The food was incredible, especially the coconut blueberry pancake which knocked my socks off. The home-fries were some of the most flavorful I have ever had. Much better than the average diner, we will certainly be back!

Eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. Looking good!

We were looking for a local breakfast restaurant on Newburyport the other day. We found the FM Station Cafe, a little local restaurant mostly filled with locals. We had great breakfast meals: ham and cheese omelette, fried eggs home fries and bacon, Irish Eggs Benedict with corn beef hash, and banana slit pancake with chocolate and whipped cream. We enjoyed the meals and our waitress, Danny, who was from Brazil. The service was great and we had a nice conversation with our waitress about the area and Brazilian culture. The Cafe was in a little strip of shops. They had a tent in the front if you wanted to be outside. The tent was probably put up during the COVID years. We enjoyed our meal and enjoyed each other's company. If you want local flavor you will love this Cafe. Enjoy your food and your friends and family! Safe travels. Stay safe and stay healthy.

    Caprese avocado toast

The caprese avocado toast was the best avocado toast combination I've ever had! My husband loved the pancakes as well. Will definitely be back!

What a find! This little restaurant just outside Newburyport is an amazing place for casual brunch. Food with a Brazilian flair, endless coffee and relaxed atmosphere. I tried the Chicken Bomb omelette with egg whites (it's a veggie-chicken omelette); quite nicely done but quite oily/buttery. The breakfast veggie burrito was excellent, quite nicely done and accompanied by avocado. We finished the meal with a blueberry coconut pancake. Everything home made and delicious. Really enjoyed it!

Classic two eggs, toast, and home fries.

Finally here to check out the breakfast after many great recommendations! Waitress was friendly, attentive and quick with the coffee refills. I order the classic and my husband ordered the Station platter. Food was delicious and served hot. Home fries were salty and seasoned which I like. My least favorite were the pancakes. Standard breakfast fare is offered with some specialty entrees as well.

One of the Board menus. Look around, there are others.

We awoke at the crack of noon and needed food. Yelp reviews set the Station above other more foo foo spots. It was exceptional. I chose a Brazilian slanted omelet with seasoned hamburger, pepperoni, and cheese. It was flavorful, light and perfect. Not a scintilla of grease. The potatoes were seasoned and had enough salt (not too much) to carry the omelette. Entire meal with no seasoning. The Irish Benedict was also perfect. The hash was not greasy and the hash consisted of small finely cut chunks of meat and more. There are lots of specials including foo foo French toasts and pancakes. The blueberry coconut pancake was excellent. Score! The Station is getting a 5 despite the fact it only open for breakfast and lunch. It is what it is and compared to other similar establishments it is clearly a 5. Since I have only been here once with the new Brazilian owners I will avoid comparison with the legendary GOAT George's Diner in Meredith, New Hampshire.

The place itself looks fantastic, with crisp linen tablecloths and warm table lamps that give it a classy, cozy feel as soon as you sit down. Every piece of meat was cooked perfectly, from the first slice to the last, and the variety was incredible. The staff kept checking on us just enough to make sure we had everything we wanted, but never in an annoying or pushy way. You're given cards with "yes" on one side and "no" on the other, so you can control when they offer you more food. With the "yes" side up, the servers bring you a steady stream of delicious meats; flip it to "no" when you need a break. I ate way too much, too fast, simply because everything was so good. We already can't wait to go back. Ogunquit has a lot of great places to eat, but make sure you try this one--At Bonissoni Brazilian Steakhouse should absolutely be on your list. There have been a few…read morewrinkles that I will mention but am willing to forgive because the food really is so delicious. The feijoada is one of the best I've ever had. No off cuts that would scare away those intimidated by some of the more rustic ingredients that are sometimes found in feijoada. There are beautiful ribs and delicious smokey flavor here and nothing to fear or peck at. The condiments. The chef from São Paulo has a real mastery of condiments. His salad dressing will literally turn you into a salad person even if you don't enjoy or typically opt for a salad. There is a little vinegar-based pepper condiment for the feijoada that perfectly balances the wieght of the dish. Don't sleep on any of the little liquids in plastic cups that are served to you. They are all gold. The few issues I've had are regarding communication to customers. I've driven to the restaurant during normal business hours THREE times in a row to find them closed. On two occasions they closed early because it was a slow day. This is especially odd because their hours are lunch-focused as opposed to dinner focused. This is common in Brazil but I feel a little out of place in the U.S. Being closed for dinner is not great, in my personal opinion. Another time they were closed for participating in a culture festival, which is wonderful, but when I called before coming there was no automated message or any type of communication at all informing me that they wouldn't be open that day. It was irritating. Despite the above, when you can make it in, call to make sure they are actually there, and your visit will be well worth it. They are a tiny, family-run kitchen, and I'm ok overlooking to bumps in the road for superb food and very nice people.

My daughter and I were looking forward to a special lunch together, but unfortunately it turned into one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. After waiting more than 20 minutes for my meal, I was served chicken that was visibly undercooked. I immediately asked to speak with a manager and explained that I was no longer comfortable eating meat. Instead of bringing a manager, I was incessantly pressured to accept another serving. I reluctantly agreed, only to receive another piece of chicken that was bleeding. It then took another 15 minutes before someone in junior management came to speak with us, and the only resolution offered was to remove my meal from the bill. No GM ever came by. I chose not to post immediately because I wanted to give the restaurant an opportunity to make things right. I contacted corporate and received an acknowledgment that my email had been received and would be reviewed. Since then, no one has reached out to have a conversation with me, no one has taken the time to understand the full impact of what happened, and no one has offered any opportunity to make up for what was supposed to be a special lunch with my daughter. What makes this especially disappointing is that Fogo de Chão has been one of my family's favorite places to celebrate. I've brought friends and family there for birthdays, Mother's Day, and other special occasions over the years. I was a loyal, frequent customer who enthusiastically recommended the restaurant to others. Mistakes can happen at any restaurant. What matters is how they're handled. Unfortunately, the lack of meaningful follow-up has been just as disappointing as the experience itself. As a result, Fogo de Chão has lost a loyal customer. I truly wish this situation had been handled differently.
