    Finally found a comfy futon! Great customer service + delivery + assembly. Full-size futon at an affordable price. Seats 4, sleeps 2. The firm mattress & wooden frame are sturdy & modern. We also got 2 (sleeping) pillows from Foam R Us that we love. We'd definitely recommend Foam R Us!

    Before- slouchy and feathers sticking out of the pillows.

The supervisor refused to adjust it, and when my husband asked if they didn't care whether we purchased, they said yes -- which felt dismissive. The staff were rude, uncompassionate, and showed no care. The supervisor name which sounds like (sh*t), I don't know how he spells it. My sister had a similar experience at another location. She was told she couldn't afford a bedroom set and that she might be better off financing it. She refused to finance or charge it and paid with cash. This behavior felt discriminatory and unacceptable. We would have bought the sofa anyway, but we refused to deal with this level of service. In contrast, we had a wonderful experience at Raymour & Flanigan in Middle Village with Aggie. She was professional, attentive, and made the purchase process smooth and pleasant.

As soon as I arrived I explained to the sales person that I'll be moving in about a month and I just wanted to see the types of memory foam mattresses they had available and if I liked something I would be back with my wife once we were ready to purchase. The lady was very pushy and after showing me just ONE mattress (which I said wasn't firm enough) began insisting that if I liked something I should purchase to get a discount. I didn't even had a chance to see other mattresses. After trying to convince her to show me one more which I also didn't like I just left. She was very pushy and greedy! She even "joked". "Do you need to wait for your wife to make this decision? You can always return the item if you don't like". (Yes lady, it's very easy to return a king memory foam mattress out of the box). Oh well, I didn't like the 2 mattresses I got to see during my visit (because she would only show me more stuff if I was ready to buy) and I will never go back to this location. I hope some day they learn that being greedy and pushy will NOT help them sell stuff! If I had found a mattress I liked I would definitely go back with my wife to make sure she likes it and we would purchase after we moved.

We weren't too sure, and also considered some changes to our order. We did not have good fortune in resolving via phone so we decided to go in-person to the Macys on Queens Blvd after work. There we met with Henry Cepeda in the Mattress dept. He took such time and care, explaining and listening, showing us the product how we imagined it, and pros and cons - which saves us money!! We honestly felt like he really cared about us and making sure we are comfortable with our decision and purchase. Never did he try to upsell us, or pressure us . He even spoke to his manager on our behalf to help us process a change in our order and told us of another discount which we got (which would have never been available by phone or online). This worker was genuine. We could tell he cares about customers and our experience. You are so fortunate to have him on staff. He's why we would go to Macy's. We are sure it was probably close to the end of his workday too, but he never let it show. He said any problem at all we can call him or email him or even stop by and see him. It's so rare to have this high level of customer service and we were impressed! Thank you Mr Henry Cepeda and thank you Macy's.

As she was not there upon my arrival another sales person, Ralph, was available to assist this time. He was never pushy and was genuinely concerned about the type of the exact mattress I might have been looking for. The transaction was quick and smooth, having able to identify what I had needed. As those two pillows that were supposed to come with the mattress and the base upon the date of delivery were not available, I was explained that I would need to pick them up at the store when they come in later. On the date of pick up of these pillows, Ralph was not available so that another sales person, Walter, greeted me with such pleasant and authentic smile. He immediately recalled my name as one of the customers picking up the pillows, which I was blown away with. The pillows were already wrapped and had my name on them!! Starting from Alex, who provided us with very meticulous service, entertaining and keeping our toddler while we tried different products less than two years ago to Ralph, who was extremely efficient and precise, Walter who blew me away with his service, taking away my frustration of having have to visit the store again to pick them up, are luminous. But for Walter, my experience would not have been as near perfect as it was since I was already agitated and upset that the pillows did not get delivered on the date of the delivery with no explaination at that time. I would definitely recommend this particular location for anyone who has access to the store by subway or any other means. It is because it is worth it!!

I was in the market to get a new sofa bed, but didn't feel like assembling another IKEA furniture. The people here were very courteous and was opened to bargaining. They have a basement with more furniture if you want to browse. I was able to get my couch further discounted and free delivery (I lived only a few blocks away though)! The delivery guys called before coming and brought my couch up without problems. They also helped with some light assembly. I have a pretty awesome couch now at a great deal. Will definitely look for more random things there.

When he found out I live on Long Island he said they can't guarantee delivery date since they will only deliver to LI if they happen to have furniture delivery in the area. I understand they have their cost so I suggested I can pay for delivery charge and even get a more expensive mattress to justify their cost. This guy just kept nagging how much it would cost them n it won't make sense to deliver despite the fact that I had already suggested to pay up n cover the cost. So I still held my cool and calmly told him again I would cover the cost. He then said "no I can't, it costs too much to deliver. Use your brain to think about it!" I was so furious I stopped him and said "how could you talk to your customer like that? I was being polite and calm, all you have to do is to say sorry we can't really accommodate that. There's absolutely no need to be so rude and ask your customer to use his brain!!" He was like "Ok. Ok." as if he doesn't care what I was saying. Still no apology nor remorse. I asked for his name (Mr. Wong) and I said I don't know if you are the boss or employee but either way good luck I'll give out an honest review in Yelp. And he still said, "Ok. ok" like whatever. I'm not sure if that's his real name but he sounds like around 45-55 year old with an accent. I think he's from Tai Shan area hence his accent in Cantonese.     I am writing this review to warn other customers about the experience my daughter and I had at the…read moreRaymond & Flanigan store located at 66-26 Metropolitan Ave #730, Middle Village, NY 11379, with salesperson Auvi Rahman. We went to the store looking for a mattress because my daughter has serious back issues. Before making any decision, I repeatedly emphasized to Mr. Rahman that the most important thing was finding a mattress that would support her back and that, if it didn't work for her, we needed to be able to exchange it. Throughout our conversation, he repeatedly assured us that exchanging the mattress would not be a problem. He told us we simply needed to sleep on it for a while and that we would have up to three months to exchange it if it wasn't the right fit. He even tried to reassure us by telling us that several members of his family were doctors and that, based on what he had learned from them, he knew exactly what kind of mattress my daughter needed. Based on his recommendations and assurances, we purchased a mattress that cost approximately $3,400. The purchase was made on February 2, 2026, and it was delivered on March 7, 2026. When it was time to sign the paperwork, Mr. Rahman simply pointed to where I needed to initial and sign. He also offered us an $80 mattress protection plan. When we asked what it covered, he said it protected against things like stains, minor damage, and scratches. Since those benefits were not important to us, we declined the protection plan. What he never told us--and what I believe was critical information--was that declining the protection plan would also eliminate our ability to exchange the mattress. Considering how many times I had specifically asked about exchanging it if it didn't work for my daughter's back, this was information he should have clearly disclosed. Had we known that, we would have made a different decision. On March 13, my daughter called the store because the mattress was causing her severe discomfort and she wanted to exchange it. She was immediately told that an exchange was impossible because we had not purchased the protection plan. She then called Mr. Rahman directly. He told her he would speak with a manager and call her back. He never did. On July 2, we went back to the store in person. Instead of listening to our concerns, Mr. Rahman was rude, raised his voice, and repeatedly interrupted us. He also claimed he had returned my daughter's call and left a voicemail. That statement is false, and we have our phone records showing that no such call or voicemail was ever received. We then spoke with the store manager, Evelyn, who told us there was nothing she could do because we had signed declining the protection plan. She also insisted that her salesperson had fully explained the terms, which is simply not true. The one condition we repeatedly asked about--the ability to exchange the mattress if it wasn't suitable--was never explained as being dependent on purchasing the protection plan. Before we left, Evelyn said she would email the regional manager to see if an exception could be made. Five minutes after we left the store, she called and asked us to come back. Naturally, we thought she had found a solution. Instead, when we returned, she only showed us the paperwork with my initials declining the protection plan--something she could have told us over the phone. She gave us false hope for no reason. Later that day, Evelyn called again to say that the regional manager would allow an exchange only if we paid a 20% restocking fee ($639)and also purchased the protection plan. To make matters even worse, the mattress that we purchased for approximately $3,400 from the store has a resale value of only about $1,000 if we try to sell it ourselves. We have been left with a mattress that my daughter cannot sleep on and that has lost the majority of its value. After spending thousands of dollars, we expected honesty, transparency, and respect. Instead, we feel that important information was withheld during the sales process, our concerns were dismissed, and we were treated disrespectfully when we tried to resolve the issue. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and that future customers make sure every promise made by a salesperson is clearly written into the contract before signing anything.
