Chicken Inasal, Red Rice, Mac Salad
    Ann V.

Came to the Bay to Celebrate my cousin's 1 year anniversary in heaven. Did a search of restaurants from Yelp and this place popped up. I knew I had to try this place cause I recognized the Red Rice, food from my home town Guam and the Daing Bangus from my Filipino Heritage. My husband ordered the chicken kelaguen tacos and I ordered the chicken inasal and you can't forget the pancit. The food was not only delicious, but comforting. My cousin was a foodie and I feel that this was a sign from her to try this place. I only wish success for this business in hopes that Chamorro Food and Filipino food are enjoyed by all. Si Yu'os Ma'åse and Maraming Salamat Po for a great experience!

A new spot since we last made it out to Prescott Market. I forgot the name of the dish in my picture, but this is BOMB! The sausage very flavorful and delicious! Rice with the egg on top was a great touch with the sliced mango. This is a highly recommended dish when in Prescott and want a dish that is a little different. Service was fast and very friendly. The vibe is always a crowd on the go.

Super friendly service here, vibe is chill. Cost us higher than other Filipino food, but the plating is pretty. We always do the Longanisa brunch special, it just feels like home and is very nostalgic for me with the garlic rice. Shout out to the team at this location for keeping good energy and positive vibes.

FOB West recently opened in Prescott Market. Judging by the lines and the pans of dirty dishes, this is the most popular vendor at lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking spaces painted too narrowly. It's possible to park yet not possible to exit one's car. Plenty of murals inside & outside by Oakland's muralists. Offerings (Filipino): breakfast, tacos, fiesta plates, beverages, chopped salads, the classics. Short line at order counter. Acknowledged. Order Promptly taken when she was free. Paid. Food brought to table in 17ish minutes. Bites: 3 tacos for $13. Chicken kelaguen out. Ordered 2 beef adobo & and 1 jackfruit vegan. Both had 2 grilled street size corn tortillas. Both were messy to eat. (Lots of sauce/juice) Jackfruit vegan had jackfruit, onions, garlic, soy, coconut milk, tomatillo salsa, cilantro. Had a spicy kick, jackfruit taste overwhelmed by salsa. Beef adobo was amazing with the adobo consumme, slow braised 5 hour adobo beef cheek, cilantro, queso Oaxaca, onion & orange salsa. 5 stars Worthy. My tummy was satisfied. Service: great. quantity: adequate. Quality: artisan ingredients. Food made to order. Definite repeat! Whoops! Forgot to take pic of tacos. My bad.

I ate at FOB West on 3/17 and it was wonderful! A limited menu for now as they're getting settled in but still a great selection of shareable starter, salads, entrees and drinks! I ordered the Yuba Skewers and they were superb! Generous portion and really well flavored!! I love that they're here and can to wait to come back and try their other menu items!

FOB West, FOB Kitchen's W$O location, is now open in Prescott Market! I'm excited to see another local business open up in the market and...it's Filipino food--so much love, so much delicious food. Currently, they're doing a soft opening for lunch: 10AM-3PM. We stopped by around 1PM and the market was busy and the line was not long at all. Let's get down to business: - Veggie lumpia (6 pieces)--Freshly fried and the ideal way for me to eat vegetables. The garlic vinegar should douse every bite! - Pancit Sotanghon--bihon clear rice noodles, no meat. The veggies are neatly cut and cooked just right. Your Tita would be proud! - Special: Longanisa Silog--throw an egg on anythang! The longanisa was perfection--not too sweet nor spicy. The side salad was a good balance for the longanisa. Oh yeah and the house hot sauce on everything! If this is how they're showing out for their soft opening then I can't wait to come back again and again and I hope you do too!

On 4/18/2026, my wife and I, went to the Prescott Market and tried FOB West. I had the vegan lumpia's and my wife had a chopped salad. The service was great and the food was excellent. The market has Indoor and outdoor seating with an array of places to eat. I highly recommend FOB West. All in all, I gave FOB West four and a half stars

My daughter took me to the Oakland Farmers Market and had lunch at the Prescott Market where we had Filipino food at FOB West. I ordered the Daing na Bangus which is a marinaded fried milk fish. They added tomatoes, cilantro, onions, etc. inside the fish, accompanied with salad, yellow rice and potato salad. There was a vinegar dressing mixture for the fish to add more flavor. Garlic fried rice would have been much perfect. Great day to eat outdoors.

Maybe it was an off day, but the lettuce in the salad is old, and the dressing is not balanced - a bit too acidic

Excellent food great ambience! Place hits hella good! Came by here a couple days again and tried their fried fish so deliciously addicting!!! Love their red rice that comes with the meal and the amazing finadene sauce . Chicken kelaguen also hits the spot!! My family from Guam love the island vibes in this place owner is amazing staff is wonderful and professional here looking forward for more good Chow ! We will keep coming back here !

I've had the pancit from FOB more times than I can count--it literally kept me alive at a festival, and somehow I'm still not over it. Every time I eat it, I'm like, wait--why is this SO good? Garlicky, packed with umami, mouthwateringly addictive. FOB's vibes are impeccable: welcoming, intimate, and authentic--like you've stumbled onto something special not everyone knows about. Like you almost want to gatekeep (but won't, because everyone deserves this) The energy FOB West brings to Prescott Market is this and more!! To enjoy this level of cuisine out on the patio, in the sun, surrounded by people having a good time? Can't ask for me! FOB Kitchen sets the bar, FOB West raises it!!!

FOB Kitchen West in Prescott Market serves Filipino and Guamanian Chamorro food, and the flavors/presentation of the dishes were executed perfectly. We started with a simple Asian-inspired Chop Salad made of shredded romaine/iceberg lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, scallion, cilantro, sesame seeds, and almonds, tossed with a soy sesame vinaigrette and topped with crispy rice noodles for an extra crunch. A far more interesting item to try was the Kelaguen taco, which featured kelaguen, a Guamanian dish made of chopped grilled chicken in a creamy dressing made with grated coconut, green onions, lemon, and Thai chilies. This ceviche-like mixture was served in two toasted corn tortillas and finished with crispy bits of chicken on top--the kelaguen had a nice tropical/coconut flavor and creamy texture, making for a delicious taco filling. But my favorite dish of all was the Daing Na Bangus Fiesta Plate, which featured a whole butterflied boneless milkfish, marinated in vinegar/garlic/spices and deep-fried to crispy perfection. The gorgeously plated milkfish was served with sides of red rice, mac salad, and green salad, along with vinegar and hot sauce as condiments. All the components came together in a colorful, balanced, and flavorful platter, making for a highlight dish!

OMG. This is definitely one of those hole-in-the-wall places that completely surprises you…read more We came here because our friend Warren recommended it, and now I understand why. It's tucked away in Oakland in a spot you might easily drive past without noticing. The setup is simple: order at the window, get a vibrating pager, then pick up your food when it's ready. They also have outdoor seating, which is perfect if you're bringing your dog along. They offer all kinds of silog meals, and honestly, before coming here, I thought all silog places were pretty much the same. While standing in line, I had no clue what to order. The special that day was the G Fire Short Ribs, and I kept going back and forth between trying something new or playing it safe. I ended up getting the pork tocino silog, and for the second dish, I almost ordered the spare short ribs. Thank God I got the G Fire Wings instead. OMG. OMG. OMG. These are hands down the BEST wings I've had in the Bay Area. The skin is crispy and crunchy, but the moment you bite in, the meat is unbelievably juicy. Seriously, when do you ever get wings that are actually juicy? Most wings are dry. Not these. The flavor, the sauce, the seasoning--everything is absolutely incredible. It's the kind of food that makes you lick every finger afterward. If it were socially acceptable to eat the bones too, I probably would have. And here's the funny thing: while I was in line, it seemed like everyone ordering was getting the G Fire Wings. Now I know why. If this place were closer to where I live, I'd be here all the time. I'm still thinking about those wings days later. The good news is we go to Oakland at least once a month for hiking and camping, and now Lucky Three Seven is officially part of the tradition. It'll either be our reward after finishing a hike or our stop before heading to camp. Thank you, Warren, for recommending this place. You absolutely nailed it. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 (simple, casual, outdoor pet-friendly seating) Parking: Street parking; may take a little patience depending on the time of day.

We ordered the chicken adobo plate, G-Fire wings, and pork lumpia. The wings were off the chart: hearty crunch on the outside and tender meat on the inside. The sauce tastes like honey and vinegar -- light and sweet and you come back for more. The pork in the lumpia was juicy -- maybe under-seasoned but the crispy wrapper made up for it. The steamed rice was slightly overdone in the way you don't mind when the entree is saucy. But the chicken adobo unfortunately had dried out in away that no sauce can save. Alas. When you need wings: get the rice plate and extra sauce.

I could not bite it. It was like a rock. But the coconut sauce was amazingly savory and rich. Unfortunately, the skin of the kabocha was just too tough to eat and the outer rind should have been removed. Bistek (9/10): The Picanha was a good choice. I enjoyed this contemporary take on bistek! It tasted like an elevated version of bistek, but still embraced tradition. I would definitely order this again!
