Special - Crabmeat ravioli w Vodka sauce

First time at the Focacceria, BYO, we chose to sit inside since it was muggy out and it was pretty intimate. The outdoors section was nice and open for a fall night. The service we had was amazing from beginning to end, very attentive. While they did have specials to offer, the standard menu seemed a bit limited. Will certainly return in the fall!

Granted, it was a last minute reservation but ... we were led upstairs into a small, little room packed with 4 tables. It was so loud we literally could not hear each other. Food was very disappointing. Veal Marsala very thick and chewy. The Calamari Sweet and Spicy was dried out and had to chew forever. We did not eat it. The Salomon with a mustard sauce would've been nice, had they put the sauce on the salmon, not under a piled mess of mashed potatoes and 4 asparagus. When I brought it up to waited he said "it's a dry mustard" What??! Side of Penne, $12, also sat under heat lamp and needed more sauce. Stay downstairs and make a reservation in advance. Maybe middle of the week.

Nice Italian restaurant that is relaxed but delicious. The atmosphere is great for work gatherings and the food is delicious and top notch. Everything tried was amazing. The menu is very limited but that is perfect as the food was great. Service was good.

The food was top-notch. The service was perfect. The restaurant is two floors and people are spaced far enough apart.

Excellent attentive service and accommodations were made for food allergies. The meatball appetizer was excellent! We all enjoyed our dinner! Please consider adding vegan desserts.

This is our go to special occasion restaurant! The outdoor seating is always really nice during the spring and summer time. The food always has great flavor and quality ingredients. Every table gets bread and an oil/pesto dip to start. For starters we got the zucchini flowers and peach salad. Both items had interesting, but delicious, ingredient pairings. For dinner we got the orecchiette, risotto, and penne with eggplant. The orecchiette had a good garlic sauce, but the broccoli rabe was a little on the bitter side. On previous occasions, we have also gotten the warm chocolate cake, which was SO GOOD.

What a lovely dinner spot! Their outdoor set-up is so nice and spacious with their patio area and large tent on the lawn. I came for dinner with family, and we had a wonderful and comfortable meal here. Even though we sat on the patio facing the road, it didn't feel noisy at all. For dinner I ordered the Seafood Ravioli with Asparagus. It only came with six raviolis but were so delicious with the sauce (I was almost tempted to slurp it)! My family also enjoyed their meals; everyone was happy and satisified. I also have to mention that the complimentary focaccia bread and herbed butter was delicious - it's no wonder why they're named Foccaceria! Lovely spot overall for a nice Italian dinner. Also BYOB, so don't forget to bring your favorite bottle of wine.

I cannot say enough about this place!! Highly recommend this unique Italian BYOB - especially if you have the chance to sit outside on the patio, such a vibe! The menu is flawless through and through, the service is impeccable and I tasted the best gelato in my life here! Pork chop was top notch and their appetizers are not only presented nicely, they taste great!

Went for a birthday dinner. We were a large party so we were upstairs. We had a wonderful server who knew the menu inside and out. He was helpful in guiding us in what to order. It was a beautiful restored house and great setting.

First time at this BYOB location and I absolutely loved! Highly recommend the sweet and spicy calamari as an appetizer as well as the meatballs. The service was awesome, ask for Danny he was the best. Not big on dessert but I had their pistachio and cherry ice cream which I usually would never order and I'm still thinking about it the next day! Outdoor patio is quiet and intimate definitely a good date night!

It was very good. Not greasy or over seasoned. And for my main course, I had calamari, shrimp and artichokes in a light tomato sauce ice linguine. It was very good. The service was good. The ambiance and service were all excellent (although it's a bit loud and cramped inside), but I was truly blown away by the food. I ordered the fried zucchini flower as an appetizer and the Bucatini alla Nonna as an entree. The zucchini flower was very popular and I noticed everyone around us ordering it. The flower itself was crispy and warm, and then stuffed with a rich and creamy cheese filling. It was much better than I expected, and I can see why the dish was so popular. My Bucatini was similarly amazing. I did not expect the pasta to be home-made, as this isn't heavily advertised for the restaurant, but the pasta was so fresh and actually home-made. The pasta was cooked perfectly (not too al dente but still with a bite). Even in NJ, I have found it so hard to find pasta that is truly home-made and cooked this well. The sauce was also exceptional. I truly enjoyed this meal and can't wait to return.

Actually a 2 person show. Either MGR./owner greeted us and offered where to sit. The venue is small and quaint. It is BYOB and the waitress came back to open wine and offer sparkling or tap. We started off with the gentlemen recommendation of bruschetta. It arrived and it came out warm. My wife was ok with it. Me I liked it. Next up we split a bolongese tagliatelle pasta dish. A perfect mixture of Veal, beef pork was hands down one of the best bolognese pasta dishes I have ever had. I am first generation Italian and have been blessed in my home. Their bolognese was special. My wife had the chicken dish spinach and potatoes. She liked it thought it was a tad sweet but did like it. I had the pork medallions with potatoes and spinach. Both dishes were cooked perfectly. My pork was a tad sweet but mixed with the potatoes and spinach was terrific We ended up with a lemon dessert that came out warm and was delicious. In addition had another raspberry dessert from establishment and that was delicious. The place is small well lit pretty windows to view. The other patrons were all enjoying their time. No drama and couldn't ask for better patrons. The waitress was excellent and my wife and I truly loved this place. We will be back keep in mind reservations are needed. We were fortunate to score on a Friday. Their are nine tables why reservations are needed. They also offer a prix fix just in case and is reasonable. I will definitely be back and I'm doing that bolognese pasta not on a share but as a main. Terrific place Recommend

Note that menu posted on their website does not reflect recent price increases. The large menu is supplemented with many daily specials. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, although service was a bit slow at times. He made a mistake with one order, but that error was satisfactorily corrected. Almost everyone in our party complimented the quality of the food, which was also of adequate quantity. One exception was the Antipasto I received which was far below my expectations. The "cold cuts" named in the menu consisted of four, small pieces of Prosciutto. Lots of canned green olives and dried tomatoes dominated the dish, along with some hard cheese squares. The best part was the few slices of fresh tomato and mozzarella. The drizzled-on balsamic dressing was sparingly applied for presentation rather than for taste or enjoyment. The artichokes cited in the menu were nowhere to be found. I can only surmise that either the chef never read the menu, or the restaurant was poorly supplied. Probably the worst antipasto I've ever been served. Avoid it! Keep in mind that my rating will reflect my personal experience. Others in my party would likely rate it higher.
