OK-well fair is fair... I posted my one star review and about an hour later I did receive a call from the owner Cynthia. I took the time to explain exactly what happened and she listened in earnest. What I appreciated is that she didn't try to justify what happened, she just apologized. She did explain how it really went down on her end but didn't try to use what happened as some logical explanation for them not calling me back. Well, as fate would have it, the other sign company I called after I had decided to go somewhere else did not call me back either!! So I decided-ok-well-if they are wiling to make it right and give me a great deal and amazing service I'll give them another shot at it. So I worked with Cynthia and she really worked quickly and efficiently to make it right. She gave me an excellent price and a time frame that was very reasonable. It took them about a week to get everything produced from the time I approved it and they came out on the exact day and time window they said they would. I was very happy with the quality of the sign and the way they installed it. And Cynthia the owner even came out after the fact later that day just to touch base and make sure it was all the way it was supposed to be. I realize in life not everything works the way it's supposed to all the time, and I also can appreciate that when things don't all you can do is try to make it right. This review is only based on customer service and not sign installation. But these days, customer service is everything because theres so many options out there. I called FPS and spoke with the owner, Cynthia, a few days ago about having someone come out to give us a quote on a sign and window wraps for a new business... I expressed the urgancy and no one ever showed up or followed up... no phone call. Wanting to still get a quote from them to get the ball rolling on something that is time sensative to me, I left her a follow up voice mail 2 days later and no response or follow up with that either. It's too bad because I like to keep my business local and was excited to work with a company that comes so highly reviewd on yelp. read more

Was looking to replace several commercial building signs. Cynthia was initially on point and came out to survey the building herself the very next day. She seemed like a nice person and was well informed about signs. 3 days after the site survey, I sent her an e-mail with few questions... No reply. About a week after the last email, I sent a follow up e-mail requesting an update on the pricing... No reply. The day after, I called her direct line and ended up leaving a voice message requesting a call back... No reply. 9 days after leaving the previous voice message, I called and left another message asking to simply let me know if she is not interested in taking on the job... No reply. It's unfortunate that myself and my company had to waste time and effort trying to give business to a company that obviously doesn't care enough to even reply. I have used Focal Point for a number of projects, including logo decals for a client of mine, to go on industrial filtration equipment. This was a challenging job, because the decals need to survive in a harsh industrial environment for 10 years or more. Ordinary vinyl wouldn't stand a chance.
