She assured us that they could provide a safe and comfortable environment for her and give her the care she needed. We noticed how lively and friendly the caregivers, Joe and Dina, were as they went about their duties cooking and cleaning and caring for the residents who were out in the dining area. There was background music playing and the facility seemed bright and welcoming. The aroma from the kitchen, where the evening meal was being prepared, was inviting. My sister quickly adapted to the structure and routine and said she was happy there. After falling and injuring herself numerous times at the previous assisted living facility, she fell only once at Senior Oasis. Joe and Dina got to know my sister quickly, and notified us when they saw something unusual in her behavior and demeanor. We took her to the hospital and she was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. Gabriela opened a sister facility, Senior Oasis 2, shortly after and asked if we would like to send my sister there. It was a spacious and well appointed facility with an upscale home feel. Joe and Dina were transferring there, so our sister said she wanted to go too. She lived there for the remainder of her life - Gabriela, Joe and Dina and the other Senior Oasis caregivers adapted and adjusted to her worsening health and eased her into hospice care. We are very fortunate to have found Senior Oasis and Gabriela and her team. We carefully evaluated facilities ranging from large corporate-operated communities to smaller residential care homes. After all of our research and visits, we chose Ohana Assisted Living--and we are absolutely happy with our decision. Finding the right home for a loved one with dementia is one of the most difficult choices a family can make. From the moment my father arrived, the staff at Ohana made him feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. They treat him with dignity, patience, and kindness every day. The caregivers are attentive to his individual needs and have done an outstanding job managing the challenges associated with dementia while helping him maintain the highest possible quality of life. Where can I possibly begin?! This organization was highly recommended to me by a senior health…read morecare agency. And I am so grateful they did. After a medical condition left my mother unable to walk she ended up in a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy to get her mobile again. Her doctor recommended 24 / 7 care. I called and spoke with Ryan who came out the very next day. We talked in detail about Mom's needs. He was comforting, reassuring, friendly, personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to include my mom in on the conversation. I've been with some people that overlook the patient as it may be easier and faster to converse with whoever might be assisting them. He made sure she knew she was the primary party in this process, listen to her needs and concerns and described in detail what they had to offer. Day nurses were MIRKA and ZARA. Their primary job was to see to Mom's safety as she was pretty much having to learn to walk again. They worked 12 hours shifts. They helped her to get in and out of bed, shower, keep her medications in order, got her meals, and assisted with the dog. They did laundry and changed bed linens. (We made sure not to ask them to do anything outside of the scope of their job description.) They took her vitals throughout the day and assisted with her physical therapy. They logged all that they did for her and noted how she was doing with things and progress she was making. Esmeralda was the night nurse. Also a 12 hour shift. Less to do while a patient is sleeping but she still worked and stayed attentive to Mom. She assisted her with bedtime tasks and checked on her hourly through the night; if Mom made any noises she made sure she was OK. Also logging things through the night. If Mom needed anything - getting to the bathroom, a drink of water - Esmeralda saw to it. She also tidied up anything around the kitchen or living room. All three of these women were kind and compassionate and receptive to Mom's needs. And they possessed all of the qualities noted above for Ryan. They were instrumental in Mom's healing. My hope, naturally, is that Mom won't need this kind of care anymore. But if so I wouldn't hesitate contacting LWHC. I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe them. I am forever grateful for them.

I spoke with Freda at Harmony Home Care and she was able to schedule a caregiver in just a few days. Freda worked with our schedule and asked a lot of questions, so she understood what kind of care we needed. Phoebe worked as a caregiver for the family member 3x a week for just over 6 months and she was excellent. She helped with shower activities, laundry, preparing lunch, and general conversation and walking activities. Phoebe was always on time and helped us during a crucial period of recovery. I would definitely recommend her. If you're looking for home care, contact Harmony Home Care. They provided a nice peace of mind, and I can only say good things.

Just wanted to give an update we've been using this agency for over 1.5 years now w/ no complaints…read more Freda the owner has been great scheduling trying to fill in spots. My mom the client is a bit picky w/ caretakers so it's hard for Freda but she does her best to keep all 7 days of the week covered. I talked to my mom and our favorite caretakers are Stacey, Cynthia, and Lisa. Stacey and Cynthia mainly work during the week to keep coverage from what I can see. I hear them speak to my mom when I'm in the hallway and they're very nice and sweet. I'll be honest it's nice to hear my mom have small talk with people other than my brother and I. I believe these two Stacey and Cynthia are the only ones currently giving her a bed bath. If we didn't have them during the week we'd be in bad shape. They've also helped w/ my mom when a physical therapist is here w/ the hoyer to lift her up to do things so they are trained. Lisa, mainly comes in on the weekends unless she has time to fill in during the week. She's a very sweet lady whose very nice and appreciative of whatever we do for her. She's communicative and gives her advice on my mom's care. Again, we've been using this agency for over 1.5 years and I see no reason why we wouldn't keep using them. Give them a try especially if you're in the Yorba Linda area since they're located here.
