Best bartender on the mountain Kelly is on point
    Bill P.

Omg the foggy goggle is the perfect spot to hit after a few runs, we got 5 runs in, then hit the bar. Kelly was super attentive and easy on the eyes. Drinks ere good, we went with the mountain high premium ice vodka. It was tasty. Ordered a few burgers, they were excellent. Brad was holding down the other end of the bar and doing a great job despite his arm in a sling. Overall great service ,great food and drinks with a smile . What more can you ask for.

    Bar pretty nice

A littlw bit pricey since they dont use highend whisky vodka for their cocktail but pretty good overall. Maitai was the best of course beers cant go wrong. Good stop for a break while snowboarding.

We each walked up to the counter and placed our orders. While waiting, we enjoyed the cozy interior and a live band on the patio. We ordered a few sandwiches, huge pretzels, and a cheese flatbread for the kiddos. I ordered the cold 6" Knuckle Sammy, and it was filled generously with deli meats and fresh ingredients. A very satisfying sandwich. Other sandwiches enjoyed included the Meatball, Pastrami Reuben, and Wrightwood Philly. The pretzels were fantastic, hot and soft, and came with a tasty cheese dip. The beers on tap were terrific. I had the Seasalt & Lime Lager, which was cold and refreshing. I got to try Hazy IPA, which was good, and if you like sours, the Plum Sour is worth a try. They also have hard seltzer and non-alcoholic beverages in the cold fridge next to the cashier. The staff was kind, and the service was excellent. They brought out our orders to where we were sitting. Plenty of TV monitors to enjoy some sports. They also have local activities and special menu items on certain days.

My children like this place, my wife likes this place and obviously lots of other people do. My wife and I shared the poutine, and we had some chicken wings as an appetizer. She likes Guinness draft there and I had Sour Monkey Triple draft. The poutine was good and it was the first time my wife had tried it--she loved it. I thought there could have been a little bit more of the cheese curd, it was fried, but I know every place makes theirs a little different. The atmosphere is great; it reminds you of a cabin on the inside and of course you're in Wrightwood CA so it's a perfect mountain hangout. The tables are clean, the area swept up and a very inviting indoor environment as outdoor environment. This is a rustic environment, so don't expect four-star accommodation. Again, as I said, it is perfect for this area, and I would expect nothing less. The service was great, we had two or three different servers, and they were always polite, knew their menu well, and offered upgrades. Had a great conversation with this server and he had been coming up there for years himself before working there. His daughter and wife were outside, and he would periodically chat with them which made us feel like it was a great family environment. The menu is varied and they have some excellent hamburgers; I have had the patty melt in the past. There is something about being 5000 feet above sea level, having a cold drink, and hot food; it's amazing. If you happen to be up in the Wrightwood area stop by at this place you will not regret it the food is hot and tasty, the beer is cold and the service and ambience is excellent,

We ordered the California Dog tater tots with garlic Parm and a peanut butter and jelly burger that was to die for everything. Everything was amazing except for it being a little windy on the patio and a little chilly, but that was the least of our worries our dogs were comfortable. The food was amazing. Coming to the Wrightwood Inn for the first and last time this weekend, wasn't a great way to end the night. Vibes were definitely off with the way one server was treating certain people. As the night went on it got worse. Ive never seen anyone treated so horrible as I witnessed Jessica scream at someone, kicking them out. The other people did nothing and just walked in as she noticed them and yelled at them "to get the f*** out" in their face multiple times, her hands up. Doing that in their face all the way till they simply walked out. Completely out of line. Instead of handling the situation with grace she went over board. We left shortly after. I cannot support a business with workers that treat people in that way. Unacceptable and I wont want anyone I care for treated that way so it definitely wont be a place I suggest to anyone.

For most of the night, I had a great time minding my own business, watching videos quietly on my phone in a corner of the bar. As I was getting ready to leave, a random guy sitting nearby asked me to lower the volume on my phone. Whether he intended to be polite or not, it felt condescending, territorial, and completely unnecessary. They were speaking louder than my phone, yet somehow my phone was the issue. It honestly felt like a case of "local syndrome," where someone felt empowered to tell me what to do in a place that isn't theirs. I didn't want to create a scene, so I generously tipped the bartender and left. But I was genuinely upset that I was told to be quiet while I was simply minding my own business in a corner. The place itself does not deserve a bad review because of the actions of one customer. However, if this person is in any way connected to management or staff, I would seriously reconsider my rating and change it to one star--something I never done before. I think a little more compassion and understanding toward fellow customers would go a long way.

Hey Brian, I wanted…read moreto reach out about something that happened tonight that I feel you should know about. I also want to be clear that all of this transpired after you had already left for the evening. For context, I'm a regular at the bar and have been coming in for quite a while. I've never had a major issue with Brent or Steven, even though they both have personalities that can come across as sarcastic or abrasive. I've generally let it go because my reason for coming to the bar is simple: I come in to have a few beers, relax, and enjoy myself. Tonight, while I was still drinking one of my beers and had some left in the glass, Brent came by and took it away as if I was finished. I jokingly said something along the lines of, "I guess you're not going to let me finish the last bit." I wasn't upset and wasn't trying to start an argument. It was an obvious mistake that could have been solved with a simple apology. Instead, he responded with a snarky comment rather than acknowledging the mistake. Later, he brought another beer to my table. I made eye contact with him and before I could even say anything, he asked, "Do you want to say something to me?" I replied, "No, I just wanted to say thank you." His response was, "Your eyes are telling me differently." Again, I found that unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. At that point, I decided to leave a $0 tip. I normally tip very well, often around 30% or more, and this was the first time I've intentionally left no tip because I wanted to send a message that I was unhappy with the way I was being treated. After that, Steven came over and confronted me about leaving no tip. He asked if I was really zeroing it out and questioned me about whether something had happened between me and Brent. I told him that whatever issue I had was not his concern, and he responded, "Fair enough." I assumed that would be the end of it. Instead, Brent came outside and confronted me. He told me Steven had said I had a problem with him. I explained that I didn't have a personal problem with him; my issue was his attitude and the way he was treating me as a customer. Rather than listening, he became increasingly hostile. I reminded him that I'm a customer and that I'm only there to buy beer from the business. I'm not there to deal with sarcasm, attitude, or an employee's emotions. As a paying customer, the minimum I expect is basic respect. I shouldn't have to walk on eggshells or accept being spoken to disrespectfully while simply trying to enjoy a beer. That confrontation ended poorly and he went back inside. A short time later, he came back out and confronted me again, this time in front of other customers. The situation became even more uncomfortable because it was happening publicly. During that exchange, he ultimately told me that I was not welcome back. Again, I reminded him that I am a paying customer whose only purpose in being there is to support the business and enjoy a beer. I should not be getting into arguments with employees, being confronted in front of other patrons, or being told I'm not welcome because I expressed concerns about how I was being treated. The bigger issue is that, in my opinion, this isn't just about tonight. This has been months in the making. I've noticed a pattern with both Brent and Steven where they seem to have become comfortable treating customers with attitude and sarcasm in ways that shouldn't be acceptable in a customer-facing role. I've overlooked it many times because I enjoy the bar and didn't think it was worth making an issue out of. On the other hand, employees like Kim, Josh, and David have always treated me and other customers with professionalism and respect. They know how to joke around while still making customers feel welcome. I've never had an issue with them. From my perspective, the problem is specifically Brent and, to a lesser extent, Steven. Brent especially has developed a demeanor that I find unwelcoming, confrontational, and disrespectful toward customers. I don't think I'm the only person who feels this way. Tonight was simply the point where it crossed a line. I'm not sending this because I want anyone fired or punished. I simply think you should know what happened, especially since it all occurred after you had left. I've spent a lot of time and money at your establishment over the years, and I would hope that customers--especially regulars--can expect basic courtesy and respect from the people serving them. I wanted to give you my side of the story directly. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
