We've been coming here since they opened last year, but we have frequented many other Fogo De Ciao locations. This one is a solid representation in the Dadeland area of Miami. Expect the same elegant spacious interior, classy decor, well appointed wait staff and superb food offerings! It doesn't come cheap, but the dining experience is so well worth it. Every visit feels like a holiday, really! Wait staff and management are all at your disposal and make you feel like royalty, I'm not kidding here!! I get the market table and hubby gets the full churraco experience! They sometimes run great specials like taste of brazil for $49. They come right to the table serving fresh meats of the most desirable kinds. The aroma is intoxicating. For date night with my boyfriend he surprised me and took me to Fogo De Chao. A place he knows I've been wanting to go to since I found out about it! The restaurant is very elegant and romantic once you step inside. The lighting is dim there's table lamps on every table and we got seated right away with our reservation time. The staff were amazing consistently checking in on us to see if we needed anything. Once we sat down we decided to order the Indulgent Churrasco Experience which was incredibly delicious... We got up and served ourselves from the options available at the buffet and by the time we sat back down at our table our sides included in the Indulgent Experience were already there and so were our drinks we ordered! The sides included mashed potatoes, platano Maduro, some cheese balls and crispy yuca fries. Every side option was absolutely delicious but the yuca fries were definitely my favorite! The different cuts of meat that we were served throughout the night were all so delicious, we made sure we hadn't eaten most of the day so we definitely had an appetite! The enhancement we both decided to order was the Butter Bathed Lobster Tail and we asked to order the Bone Marrow on the side since we both had never tried it and it was something new for us. It was very good. After dinner we both enjoyed the Cheesecake Brûlée and ordered the Chocolate Brigadeiro to go. Both desserts were delicious and we would definitely order either or again!! We had a party of over 30 people last night, and Christy and Stanley absolutely exceeded expectations. Managing a group that size is not easy, yet everything was handled flawlessly. The food stayed fresh, the service was organized and attentive, and the entire evening flowed smoothly from start to finish. Both of them were professional, accommodating, and made sure everyone in our group was taken care of. It's rare to see that level of consistency and attention with such a large party. This place is incredible. I love that you can do ONE choice of meat instead of all of them. I love all the meats too but to have the option for my kid who only really likes one cut was incredible so thank you for that option! Came in on a Sunday evening and grabbed seats at the bar for the all-day happy hour--great decision. We had fabulous service from Mike, who was friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We ordered a few new appetizers, but the standout (and the one I'd absolutely reorder) was the Filet Mignon Board. Decent portion size, great flavor, and very affordable for what you get. We also tried the salad bar, which is very veggie-forward and offers a wide variety of fresh vegetables--nice to see something a little different and thoughtfully done. The wine list is huge and genuinely entertaining, with lots of options to choose from. The interior is nice and upscale, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the evening. Would definitely come back again, especially to try more of the meat options. Overall, a great bar experience and one I'll be repeating soon. read more

I was surprised by how much they transformed the place where Chili's used to be. The space is now elegant and airy, with tall ceilings that give it a modern, open feel. We arrived just after brunch service ended and decided to try their $49 "Best of Brazil" special. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The selection of meats was very limited at least during our visit. I basically only got picanha and one type of sirloin. None of the other promised cuts like sausage, pork chops, or even chicken ever made it to our table. On the bright side, the service was attentive. We came here as a group of 5 for lunch. We had made reservations. There were a few table open, but the hostess said they were reserved, so probably best to make a reservation to be on the safe side. As it was lunch, no one wanted to have a big heavy meal, so we all opted out of the meat (blasphemous, I know!), and had the salad bar instead. The price of the salad bar is $36 per person. The salad bar is pretty big. It has plenty of good options. There's also some soup, rice, and black beans to choose from. As we were eating, the waitress asked if we wanted any of the other sides that come with the meal. They had mashed potatoes (which we did take), and fried plantains, or polenta. They had also put a bowl of the small cheese rolls on the table. I ordered a Caiparinha with my meal. It was only $10. Everything was delicious. The service was pretty good. But when we needed to leave we couldn't find our waitress so we asked the manager for our check. Unfortunately he accidentally put 6 salad bars on the check instead of 5. So we had to wait a while to get that sorted out. Not a big deal for me, but my friend was late to an appointment. I would go back again, but definitely try the meat options. If you want an all-you-can-eat salad bar, this is a great place to go. I think $36 might be on the more expensive side for salad. We were all full after one plate, so it's not like we felt we had gotten our moneys worth. The restaurant is very nicely decorated. It's clean and classy. Not uptight or snobby. This was my first time at the Kendall location. The food was tasty. We had the all you can eat Brazilian special for $50. It came with a variety of meats, and gave you access to their salad bar, which also includes side dishes like rice and beans. The servers were kind and they all work together, but there was definitely a long pause of like 10-15 min where we got no food or water. I ended up grabbing someone's attention to eventually remedy that. On a Sunday afternoon, it was not that busy, so it's a good time to go for a semi-romantic lunch. read more

I was excited to take my husband here as I had eaten twice with work and those experiences were great this time was not. We were a party of 4. When seated they placed the cheese bread, maduros and mash potatoes. Good selection at salad bar, now the meats are good but it took I would say at times what felt like 10 minutes in between the meat selection. We felt very unattended, I even stopped someone and asked for meat and another time for bread and maduros. If you don't ask they don't ?...I did want to complain but didn't want to be that customer but the length of time in between was so terrible. The mash of course was cold when I did receive the meat. Can you believe when I got home I actually felt "empty". On an added note, the salad part was nice but that's not what we went for. Fogo de chaio hires low quality servers. There's a Cuban American waitress with injected lips and fake lashes that flirts with the men with no regard for the wife literally sitting there. Ok so I gave this place one more chance and organized our Holiday Party there. This time this place delivered. We were a group of 25 and they seemed prepared and gave us great service. The salad bar was superb and the cuts of meat this time were delicious. Despite there being a few large groups that day we had enough space to move around our table for our gift exchange. The only thing they missed is that I asked for candles on a couple of the desserts so we can sing happy bday to some of our staff and the server seemed to forget but we still sang happy bday nice and loud. The lady in charge of catering who we booked with came by a few times to check on us. It was so good that we are planning on booking again for next year. I also want to give a special shout out to the valet. I left the holiday cards for my employees in my car and he went and brought them for me. This is a great location! We went for dinner and everything was on point. The ambiance is great and they had a saxophonist playing, which was really nice. We started with a little bit of food from the salad bar and then we had the different types of beef, chicken, and lamb picaña. My favorite was the lamb. For dessert, we shared the crème brulle and it was delicious. Our servers, Micheal and Janine were great and very friendly. I'd definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner. read more

I'm honestly not sure how this place has such high ratings. When we arrived, it felt unusually empty, I assumed it was just because of the Memorial Day. Things got off to a terrible start with a waiter who was beyond rude. I was ready to walk out, but the manager came over. I told him straight up: if we don't receive a different server, we're leaving. Tbh I really wish we had just left. The manager seemed to laugh it off, but to me, it felt like he was laughing because he knew that older gentleman had no business serving tables. Thankfully, we were assigned a new waiter who completely turned the experience around. He was excellent and made the rest of our visit much more pleasant. As for the food, it was average at best. Will I ever return? Absolutely not. To top it off, the ceiling was leaking directly onto our table. The manager was well aware of it but clearly did not care. We were so excited to have a close Fogo, anytime we travel and see one we normally make sure to have dinner, we love the concept and that the food is always tasty.. However this location couldn't be a bigger let down, the service was horrible, we asked for specific meats that 3 different servers asked what we were waiting for an never received most meats. We complain to the manager that night and the coorprate, only for a meal card that expired two days later and zero response from their corporate.what a waste of money. I've never met a Fogo de Chão Brazilian Restaurant I did not love but there are some I love just a little more. Like the new location at Dadeland. A bit smaller than some of the others but this is one example where size does not matter. Same great market table with fresh salad, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and tons of delicious fruits. Same wonderful variety of perfectly prepared meats. Same impeccable service. Perhaps it is because it is a smaller restaurant or perhaps it is the quality of the staff or perhaps it is the way that this particular restaurant has managed but all I can say is that the two times I have been here have both been extra extraordinary experiences. They simply went out of their way to make sure I got the exact meat. I wanted to cook the exact way. I wanted exactly when I wanted them. If I asked for something in particular and it was not ready. They let me know when it would be, and even checked back to make sure that it had been brought to me and was to my satisfaction. I just loved it here and despite the premium price tag. I find the quality of the food to be practically a bargain at the price. I wasn't even out of the parking spot yet when I was already talking about when my next visit would be. Had to flag someone else to give us menus. When they finally came to take our order, the waiter was wonderful, and everything ran smoothly. They have been open for several years, but the poor service was disappointing. We walked in while looking for the Chillis that we learned closed several years ago. Beautiful decor, greeted immediately and warmly. The manager greeted each table which was a great touch. We only had the salad bar but were very impressed. Fresh cheeses and charcuterie, all types of mixed salads, vegetables, and fruit. Additionally you can also have white rice, black beans and soup with little baguette slices. The price is right, a little less than their competitor across the street, and they open daily for lunch. It's a definite repeat. I am really impressed with the new location. I've always been a big fan of Fogo de Chão in The Gables as, but I have to say that this location, if they keep it up, we'll be even better! The service was on point. Absolutely fantastic! Happy hour is the same as in all the other locations, all day everyday with both food and drinks included and happy hour. I sat at the bar and I had flavio, stephanie, and Alejandro as our bartenders. There was not a minute that our glasses were empty or we were not being asked if we needed anything. The bar area here is a lot larger than in the gables. Much more seating area at the actual bar. The decor is lovely. It is warm and inviting. Parking is plentiful as you can park in the garage or on the street. I want to give a shout out to Christian who introduced himself to us tonight and let us know that he's the one that's been training the staff here. This was my first time at Fago de Chao. The ambiance was upscale, service was attentive, the buffet bar was good, not great compared to Texas de Brazil. Could have had more salad items. They had Hummus but no pita. Smoked salmon but only bread I found was small pieces. Meat cuts were very good at a good temperature, with a wide variety. They're known for their Churrasco and it was amazing very flavorful. The Lamb and lamb chops were great. Ribeye was excellent. The filet cuts were good not great as compared to top steak houses, insofar as tenderness, flavor and temperature. The manager did a great job at our table asking what's our favorite cuts and then he brought it. One other waiter did the same thing but then forgot to bring it. Waiter Michael was excellent.
