Definitely this is the best place to have a nice dinner, their plates and steak are amazing. I highly recommend it!

This locale has been open for ages and had forgotten about it, but tired of not finding easy parking in other locations (gables for example) to eat at a popular Argentinian restaurant in the area, I decided to come back to give it a try. Along Bitd road you can find the coziest family oriented place to have a great old fashioned, cooked to perfection, delightfully seasoned (just salt), and likely grilled in a simple gas grill. The visit was short, sweet and to the pint. Welcomed with warmed bread and butter (as it should be) until the food arrived we started having a piece of bread w chimichurri. I must add that since this review I've been going every weekend looking for more of this feeling of a home cooked meal, but that said, I will share that the chimichurri is a bit too much on the salty side, excellent none the less. Back to the review, I'm a fan of the churrasco de vacío (flank steak) and oh boy, you should too. The quality of the meat is impressive, not sure where they source this from but it is fantastic. The order includes a side of salad and an optional extra order of fries or rice, etc. Well, we had 2 different types of meat to check out not only some of the most popular options but also what are our favorites choices. We went for the flank steak and a picanha (coulotte steak).the order is 12 oz. Each order is enough for 2 people if you consider that you should not have more that 6oz per serving but it is worth mentioning that one order could be well shared between 2, especially if you had bread or if you order an appetizer. We did not bc we rather had a larger portion each. But, honestly one portion is shareable. Again, not going to get tired of reminding you why you should try these excellent options, but rather wanna make sure that through repetition you go there and give it a try yourself. They also have an extensive selection of wines but since I've only been there for luck kept it a beer level, however there's plenty of options should you want to throw a great Malbec or Cab to accompany your order, but that's just discretionary and a nice add on. Anyway, could not pass the opportunity to also mention that while the staff is kind they are not necessarily very attentive. The could improve a bit in that but like most major restaurants today, I noticed they were short staffed in every visit I've been there. You see the staff busy to keep that place running and that should be always appreciated. Finally, every visit has been pleasant and delightful. Food has been amazing but the place is a bit outdated and could be improved. It is a family place and the quality of the ingredients are up there, yet I think the prices are worth the flavors you encounter. There's a show at nights on Fridays and at least Saturdays night, but not sure if the time. While I was eating the person that sings came over and invited us. Super corteous guy. Need to go back to hear him singing and enjoy a glass of wine with good music. I've been meaning to write about this restaurant, but did not find the time until now. I took a couple pictures of both the menu and our orders as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. As you will see the meats come perfectly cooked not charred, and well presented and cooked. This may not be a perfect 5 but one of the strongest 4.5, but since there's always room for improvement we'll stick to 4. Oh, and I say #goenjoyagreatsteak. Because life's too short not to enjoy and give it a try. #Dontforgetyourmalbec. Cheers!

Went here for lunch and was very impressed with the meal! The steak tasted phenomenal and was seasoned so well. The sausage was also very tasteful and filling. The prices for the menu were also very reasonable. Only thing to say is service was fairly slow but you will not leave this place feeling disappointed about your meal!

Soooo good and very authentic Uruguayan plates! It was a great find in Miami! (Thanks yelp!) It's a lot of food, so you might think about sharing. The chivito is really good! Comes with ham, cheese, soft egg, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The milanesa was great and authentic. It doesn't come with a side so you might want to order fries. The milanesa napolitana was fantastic! For dessert we split the panqueques de dulce de leche and they were amazing! Service was great! Super friendly!!! It's a bit slow but worth the wait :-)

came here with a giant group so we had a set menu! Atmosphere is very cute-- small and homey. Service was pretty good considering how many people we were. We started with some toasty bread with butter and chimichurri. Our bread basket was refilled multiple times as we waited for the entire party to arrive. We then proceeded with salad which led to parillada for 2. For non-red meat eaters with our party, they were served pasta in addition to grilled chicken, plantains, and fried yuca. Food was pretty good tbh. Live music was a guitarist from miraflores Peru! Enjoyable ambiance.

Before I continue, I must acknowledge my own bias that I have been coming here for decades and many of the dearest celebrations that have been held by friends and family who grew up in this neighborhood took place here; certain family traditions are special. Guests are treated to this Nicaragua restaurant fair with Spanish influence and I have been happy to be coming here for what I can only approximate to be three decades. I also acknowledge that we are familiar faces since money talks and repeat business holds more weight. It's because of that that my family continues to opt to come here. Dinner wouldn't be dinner without an order of fried cheese and a nice Big Daddy Churrrasco steak. We were helped by Frank and German/Hernan and receded and treated kindly and welcoming despite arriving at 9 o'clock on an evening where the restaurant closes at 9:30 PM. Service was top-notch from the entirety of the staff team from the bus to the back way to the head server. I ordered my steak medium, and I am pleasantly surprised to report to the YELP community that arrived exactly as I hold for which is something that a lot of restaurants miss and air on the side of caution by sending it out medium well. I'm not a steak snob or a steak foodie or a steak of fish I'm just a guy who can tell the difference between medium and medium and well and I'm glad that they followed through accurately. The interior feels like an outside Hacienda and there's something comforting about that to me something nice and different in a place where everything has to be chic. I'm just a guy who likes to eat good food and be treated well. Had a nice price point with people I care about this case my immediate family so that's why I'm giving this place five stars. I think it's worth checking out if you're interested.

The first thing to know is that the café is very small with limited seating, so be prepared to wait if they're busy. I ordered Tina's French Toast, which is one of their most popular items. For $18, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. The slice I received was much smaller than what I'd seen in photos and reminded me of regular sandwich bread. It was also slightly burnt and tasted like toasted bread with house-made syrup and a hint of orange zest. I also ordered the Sunny Side Scramble, which was simply scrambled organic eggs with Parmesan. I appreciate that they use organic eggs, but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about the dish. The BEC (bacon, egg, and cheese) sandwich was decent but, again, nothing that justified the price. My favorite item was probably the tallow potatoes. They were crispy, flavorful, and well-cooked, but the portion was so small that it felt like one tiny potato cut into quarters. In the end, I spent about $100 on four items and left feeling disappointed. None of the food was bad, but none of it stood out or lived up to the hype either. Experiences like this are why I don't automatically trust influencer reviews anymore. Too often they feel more like paid promotions than honest opinions. I believe a good reviewer should be willing to share both the good and the bad. I understand that negative reviews can impact a business, but honesty is what helps people decide where to spend their hard-earned money. I really wanted to enjoy Tina Café, but for me, it simply didn't live up to the expectations

Before the entree, they bring out a small cup of soup, either fish or lobster bisque, just enough to warm you up before the main event. I went with Creole shrimp, and opted for salad and fried sweet plantains, while hubby ordered fried fish chunks with white rice and black beans.
