First, time I come to this restaurant with my parents & I only tried the cabbage salad & drank a little bit of coke & left because they took forever to attend us & serve us (never got the test of the food). Other people left also because of the same issue. There was a large group of people that were celebrating something of Nicaraguas Military & they forgot to attend the other customers. Also, that event brought a group of singers & you couldn't even talk at your own table because you couldn't hear anything. The restaurant is not too big to have loud live music. Good place to come for a steak during work hours. We all ordered the lunch baby churrasco which comes with two sides and all our plates came at the same time and as we ordered, no mishaps and our food was hot. The steak was flavorful and easy to cut. Service as quick and our waiter was so attentive and nice. Everything we ordered came quick and we were sitting outside since the weather was nice. Typically I have a pretty good time here so I'd like to emphasize that most of the time it's great. I typically get the lomo saltado and churrasco. This time the lomo had an off flavor... maybe too much soy sauce? My churrasco was over cooked for sure, although I love a smoky taste, it was definitely too dry. I will say I love that they have mora juice. It's a favorite of mine I don't get to enjoy often. My boyfriend and I came across this restaurant passing by in London Square and we were craving some steak for tonight's dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are a little high for the amount of sides you receive. My boyfriends plate was cooked perfectly and his sides were very good. But as for mine my meat was a little under cooked when I ordered medium well it was more on the raw side, flavors were all there though! The side salad I order was not very big and the yuca was four small yuca fries. The only reason for giving them four stars is the sides and my meat was under cooked than what I ask. After eating here I can say these cooks know what they're doing. The steak was cooked perfectly and there was *plenty* of rice to go along with it so I couldn't be more content. The chicken chimichurri was perfect! It was grilled with the chimichurri and then they gave me more on the side to put on because hey, we all know there's no such thing as too much chimichurri!! I've eaten here on several occassions so I have had a little bit of everything. For drinks, their Sangria is on point. I usually don't like drinking Sangria, but theirs tastes good to me. It's a little on the sweet side, but has some strength to get your drink on. Keep an eye out for the Happy Hour drink specials as they are very reasonably priced. For an appetizer, you can't go wrong with their quesadillas or the queso frito(fried cheese.) Ask them to slice them up or they'll serve it as one full trotilla. The Tajadas(those yellow plantain chips for the non-Spanish speakers) are pretty good. Both the Chicken & Steak are my go-to entrees when I dine here as well as the gallo pinto. read more
