I stopped by around 4 PM and had a pretty underwhelming experience overall. We lucked out timing-wise -- it wasn't too busy when we arrived, but by the time we left, the place was packed. For a buffet-style setup, the variety left a lot to be desired. The number of dishes being passed around was minimal, and the salad bar was nothing to write home about. Nothing really stood out or made me feel like I was getting my money's worth. Bottom line: skip it. The value just isn't there for what you're paying. I'd look elsewhere for a better experience at a comparable price point. My waitress was not impressive-she explained nothing, never offered or asked if we wanted more potatoes, yuca fries or plantains and had to be ran down for refills - even though it was not busy. Me and my party sat down on our reservation time. 35 minutes passed by and every single server was serving only large parties and not our party of four. We received two small pieces of steak, which were the last ones on the skewer. Many workers were going in and out, but not decided to stop at our table. The restaurant was not busy at all. They were more workers than customers. I do not recommend this restaurant for anybody who was looking for Emile, but it has recommended if you're looking to waste your time. read more

The food was absolutely incredible, featuring a massive variety of perfectly seasoned, fire-roasted meats carved right at the table and an amazing market table filled with fresh options. The service was top-notch and fast, with the gaucho chefs and attentive staff constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, the ambience was beautiful, upscale, and filled with a vibrant energy that made the whole dining experience feel special. Of all the Fogo De Chao restaurants we've been to, this place was probably the best. The service was spectacular and the cuts of meat were perfectly cooked to order. The manager came to the table more than once to make sure that everything was to our liking. Beautiful view of the bay and beach made this a very special experience. Made a reservation to have dinner with my wife and son. Just click on the link and you'll be taken to the reservation page. Convenient and easy. We chose to go early, at around 5:30. Good thing we chose that time because it wasn't very busy; however, about an hour, hour and a half later it really started to get busy. Service was great on all levels. Can't complain there. Really, I have no complaints. We sat inside but we're to close enough to the window to enjoy the nice view. The Market Table and Feijoada Bar had a vast selection of pretty much everything. It was hard to decide what to get, there was so much to choose from. And everything was fresh and tasty. The meats were off the hook. Juicy and flavorful. Our son had a blast picking the meat the servers cut. We really had a wonderful experience. Even though I ate plenty, I didn't leave feeling stuffed. writing to share my disappointment with a recent experience at one of your locations during a birthday reservation while on vacation. We chose the full churrasco rodizio based on recommendations and our past positive experiences at Fogo de Chão, but unfortunately this visit fell far short of expectations. After being seated, we had to wait quite a while even after visiting the market table and receiving rice and beans. Once service began, the variety and quality of meats were very limited. Not once were we offered chicken, and the majority of options brought to our table were pork -- which we do not eat. The beef selections we did receive were either overcooked or lacked flavor, which was surprising given the high standards we have come to expect from your restaurants. This was especially disappointing because it was a birthday celebration for my mother-in-law. Despite noting this in our reservation, no acknowledgment was made -- no greeting, no dessert, not even a "happy birthday." It made what should have been a special evening into an embarrassing and frustrating experience. Considering the cost of the full churrasco experience and the reputation of Fogo de Chão, this was deeply underwhelming and upsetting. I kindly request that something be done to address this poor service, as this visit did not reflect the quality or hospitality associated with your brand. read more

This is easily one of the best steakhouses on the island and I don't say that just because I'm Brazilian. Each time we come here we have the same experience, excellent food and service. You also won't find a better deal. Add to that children under 6 eat for free. It was the first time our 5 year old son ate here and he loved it. His favorite thing was obviously when the servers would come to the table with the meat. He would eagerly wait for them with the tongs. The servers were very polite and friendly with him. We got there at 5:30pm and it was pretty empty, but it soon filled up. Even though the restaurant was busy there was always somebody checking up on us. Such a huge disappointment because we have been to other Fogo de Chao locations before and were expecting the same quality and good food we've had. For starters, this place smelled terrible, sort of like strong carpet detergent or something but very strong. The servers were nice and friendly. The market buffet was decidedly subpar, we had one trip a part of our meals and were underwhelmed w the selection and the taste of the food. My partner ordered the vegetable dish and wasn't able to eat it at all. The vegetables weren't grilled they were outright burnt and tasted as bad as they looked. I ordered the skirt steak, medium well, only to get well - overcooked meat that was charred and over salted. Only ate a few bites because I felt horrible having spent, or rather wasted, money on such terrible food. Probably would have gotten better food at any little place nearby. We shared our opinion w the server and she offered us free dessert. Really? That's ridiculous. At least the cheesecake was better than the food. But if you think about how much you are paying to eat here you will be sorely disappointed about the taste and quality of the food. This was my first time to this Brazilian steakhouse. The sides were very plentiful although most all are cold. They did have rice and soup for the warm sides. The amount of meat was plentiful but we had to ask for other meats as they were only rotating maybe five meats? We ordered a dry aged tomahawk steak which was supposed to come out on a salt platter and finish cooking at the table but it was sent out on a wood platter very rare so we had to ask for it to be cooked at tad longer (we ordered medium rare). If you are into medium rare meat, this place may be a good experience for you. As for me, I like my meat practically burnt to a crisp and well done. So, I struggle with these types of places. They had a guava martini on their menu, so I had to stop by and give it a try. They also had tres leches and key lime pie. I tried both along with a pineapple mint lemonade. The keylime pie tasted more like a lemon pudding pie inside of a Graham cracker crust. It was a powerful flavor that I could only handle a few tastes of. The tres leches was a bit better. But they put marshmallow icing on top of the cake, which looked great but gave it a more sugary taste. I eventually scraped the marshmallow topping off the cake and ate the entire cake. I thought they had warm sides made to order, but all of their sides are kept on ice at a salad bar where you gain access to once you order "the experience"...which I decided to pass on. Other than the limited side options, the ambiance is nice. It's a very clean and elegant setup. They give you this complimentary dish that's a gummy breadlike substance and tastes both sour and salty. It did not suit my pallet, and no one told me what it was, so it remains a mystery. The lady who greeted us was very friendly. But the lady who serviced the table wasn't very friendly. She seemed a bit annoyed at having to explain what "the experience" was. She refused to make eye contact with me as she passed by me, too, so it took a while to get her attention for the check. She must have been having a bad day. We all have them. The gaucho lunch (salad bar only) is suchhh an underrated deal. I've been to fogo in Manhattan before for the full experience and found myself feeling absolutely ill after eating so much meat but loving the selection of veggies and salads available. So the perfect solution - $16 for lunch, all you can eat, with a ton of healthy choices available in a region that's not exactly known for a lot of healthy choices. I went twice when I was in PR and would do a couple rounds at the salad bar, the first grabbing a traditional salad with some grilled veggies, and the second grabbing some heavier items like charcuterie, chicken salad, etc. I do wish they had something sweet available but that's a small complaint. Outdoor seating is absolutely gorgeous overlooking the water. They have all day happy hour with glasses of wine as well. Women working are lovely. Would definitely return. read more

I guess the server who took our order didn't properly put it in the system idk but when we were ready to pay we told the initial server we were splitting it 3 ways. As my brothers birthday cake is being brought out, the manager asks how are we splitting the checks for a 3rd time now. It was only 3 checks for 7 people, it wasn't that hard. The manager walks away like oh you can continue with the birthday cake I can do it after and never comes back. So we then have to ask ANOTHER server that's just walking by where is our checks bc my brother and his friends are ready to leave and go party but they're being held up bc we still have not got the checks. I would not recommend coming here at all. The food made me throw up in the middle of the night I believe it was the blue cheese or the mozzarella from the salad bar. It was probably full of bad bacteria from sitting out all day and was probably never changed from the time opened bc that's how neglectful the team is here. Food is important but the experience we hope for is cultural. There's a vibe we look for and people make the difference. We're fortunate, expense is never an issue. I've been to many Fogo's all over the United States. That's my thing....they all seem to be pretty unique once you start to venture around a little. This one in specific probably has the best views I've ever seen from a restaurant...ok maybe not the best but it was pretty close. This was my first time visiting Fogo since COVID...I was curious to see what COVID restrictions may be in place to ensure everyone's safety's. There appears to be numerous protocols in place that I would hope would always remain. Of course a new plate is always best at the salad bar; a hand sanitizer station at the salad bar is a pretty good idea also...heck you can make my plate if you feel like it lol. A few days ago I went to my friends' wedding reception. The meat service was quite slow and not so good for my taste. The waitress who touched us treated us badly, with bad attitudes and disrespecting us, she offered us a single glass of water at first and then she didn't bring us any more, she was asked to bring more and once again she treated us super badly. In my own experience I can tell you that for the price you pay for the dishes and your five-star "treatment" it's not worth it. So I've been to a couple of these chain Brazilian steak places and they usually book it on OpenTable where you can let them know what restrictions your diet has so my local 1 knows when I make a reservation that the Groucho cooks a.k.a. have to make everything fresh with not too much salt as the regular menu because anyone who's been to one of these places know that they use a ton of rock salt did normal human could digest but that's your thing I understand I just can't have that due to medical conditions so I explained that and it also it was in my comments when my reservation was made however, it seems like my server who spoke perfect English could not understand to the point where she got upset and didn't want to deal with me anymore so the manager who is wonderful had took over and after about two hours having that much more than what was on the salad bar? You know..although this is a chain restaurant they were pretty great in Puerto Rico. I've been to this restaurant in Vegas as well and it was a great experience. The variety of meats were satisfying. Loved the experience! This restaurant was located off the third level of the parking structure in the (I think it's called) Paseo Caribe complex. This is definitely a place to bring a date or for a special occasion. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend eating outside when the sun is setting as you would have a beautiful view. (That is, IF you can stand the heat) There's also a private dining room. We arrived on a Monday evening, late, around 8 o'clock so it was not that crowded. If you are thinking about dining here on a weekend, you might want to call ahead for reservations. Also, it would be fitting to dress up. Our server Luis was amazing! He was very patient going over the menu with me as I did not understand the pricing. (Which by the way is very expensive!) He even wrote a little note to us in raspberry purée on our crème brûlée just to be nice! If you want to save a little bit of money, I would recommend coming at lunchtime as the menu prices are a little lower. we opted for the Wagyu ribeye which ran an eye popping $135. I've been wanting to try that for a long time and I finally got my fix. The presentation on the Wagyu was really intriguing. We ordered it medium rare and it came out rare, but, he sliced it up on his cutting board and then set it on top of a sizzling hot salt block. Which by the way, did not cool down the whole time we were sitting there. So the steak sat there and sizzled away till we had it at medium rare. I absolutely loved that presentation! (My mouth is watering as I'm writing this! Haha!) Another in our group, ordered the salmon. He said that he liked it, and he's very picky. On the table there is a little disc that is green on one side and red on the other. (I can't remember what the writing was on it) When you want them to bring meats from the kitchen, you place the green side upwards and they will continue to stop by to see if you want any of the cuts of meat that they have. They will then slice off a small portion for you. And then when you are full, just turn the red side upwards. We also tried the beef Picanha. It was juicy and tender. Honestly it was just utter gluttony. This for me, will be a once a year restaurant, as I cannot eat that much on a regular basis. The salad bar had a lot of gourmet type sides, things like; eggplant prepared different ways, dragon fruit, hearts of palm, smoked salmon with capers, fresh cut cheeses, prosciutto and salami. You wont be disappointed. You are also served complementary mashed potatoes, fried polenta and sweet plantains. They also had sauces and toppings like the Argentinian Chimichurri sauce, which I felt needed a little bit more vinegar and they had vinegar there on the side that I could've added but I didn't see it till it was too late. Also a soup, which I also didn't see till I was already full. They specialize in fine wines and specialty cocktails. If you're that kind of person with deep pockets, they actually have a bottle of wine that you could purchase for $2240.00!
