Morton's Steakhouse is located inside the Caribe Hilton Hotel, but you can't access it directly through the hotel--you have to enter from the outside entrance. Once inside, the ambiance immediately stands out. It's dark, stylish, and has that "sexy" atmosphere they're clearly going for. We were greeted by the host right away and only waited a couple of minutes before being seated. I definitely recommend making a reservation, as I did. Once we sat down, however, it took quite a while before our server came over. The restaurant didn't seem too busy, so I'm not sure why the delay. By the time she arrived, we already knew what we wanted to order, so we placed our drink and food orders together. They started us with table bread, which was very good. I ordered a Caesar salad, which was also solid. For entrées, my daughter had the filet mignon and a baked potato--she loved both, especially the potato, which she devoured completely. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes. Honestly, it was just okay. The salmon was a bit too dressed up for my taste (I should've asked them to leave off the olives), and the mashed potatoes were nothing special. For dessert, we tried the cheesecake, and again--it was fine, but not memorable. One thing I wasn't thrilled about was the pacing. We were there for about two hours, which felt long given that we had already decided on everything quickly. If you're expecting fast, New-York-style service, you won't find that here. The highlight of Morton's is definitely the ambiance. The food was decent, the service was a bit slow, and nothing really wowed me aside from the atmosphere.

We are LSC members so we had a birthday coupon. But they also did birthday dessert. Omg! Amazing service and food! They even took our photo, made a card with Happy Bday and put the photo in as a gift. Above and beyond. We shared large steak and a side and they plated for both. We should have shared salad too. Was huge. Everything tasted amazing!

Amazing food and service. I had the wagyu filet and it was so smooth and tender. The best steak I've ever had. The service was amazing. We were there for my birthday and not only did they give us a desert with a happy birthday message, they took a photo of the table and put it in a nice card to save the memory.

The ambience is very retro semi-upscale American style steakhouse. Okay ambience, food is fair. Food is not fine dining level but decent for birthday dinner/ family gathering, with the classy interior. Service is attentive. Fish is great, but portion is on a smaller side and nothing too exquisite. Overall 7/10, average (decent but no wow factor, nothing unforgettable)

Morton's at the Caribe Hilton was a solid dinner spot. The old fashioned was made almost perfect -- smooth/balanced/strong without overdoing it. Started with the blue cheese salad which was fresh and packed w/flavor. The steak was cooked exactly right & the lamb chops were easily one of the highlights of the meal. Great quality food, good service & an upscale atmosphere. Definitely a place worth visiting if you're staying at the Caribe Hilton or surrounding area. Overall I give it a 3.5/5 stars!

I so Love Morton's but it missed the ball on this one. We went there to celebrate my sister's birthday. The ambiance and atmosphere was really cozy and chill. Service was pretty good. My sister was able to sample a couple of wines, on which she didn't prefer but me on the other hand, it was right up my alley. Both of us ordered the Ribeye Steak and shareable sides, mashed potatoes, asparagus, greenbeans, corn. They had to take away the greenbeans and corn because my sister was allergic to a few ingredients they cooked in them. It wasn't that appetizing. My steak was not good. The steak had a gamey taste too it, it was still alive in my mouth. I didn't make a fuss of it. I just paid for it. The worst steak that I've had. At least the wine was good. I'm glad she enjoyed her meal, she was the birthday girl! She needed to enjoy it. My $125 went down the drain.

We had a wonderful farewell meal at Morton's the steakhouse. Reservations are a must, and we were seated immediately. By the time we left, there was not one vacant table. We were seated at a table overlooking the cove, which was a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Everything is top shelf here, including the wait staff. I ordered a martini to start and my waiter recommended at Gorgonzola filled Olive, which was a fabulous addition to a wonderful vodka martini. My granddaughter and I shared both the shrimp and crab cocktail, both being fabulous, fresh and tasty. Being a steakhouse I had to order a small filet, cooked to perfection along with traditional sides. The lobster mac & cheese was exceptional, being full of lobster. The sour cream potatoes were creamy and hit the spot. The truffle corn was an exceptional. All in all, a fabulous dinner served by expert staff in a beautiful setting. I almost expected Frank Sinatra, to walk into the room.

Our favorite place for a dining experience. The exceptional service, high-quality ingredients cooked to perfection, and precise temperature control effortlessly satisfy even the most demanding palate. The stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean perfectly complements the overall experience.

Convenient in the lobby of my hotel. Got a great table with a view of the ocean. Service was friendly and attentive. Bread and butter was a little bland. Sommelier was super friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick a lovely wine. I skipped an appetizer. The steak was delicious. Perfectly charred outside and nice and pink inside. Very tender. I got the truffle butter on top and also a bearnaise sauce on the side. All of it was good. Had the au gratin potatoes which were not my favorite but my server graciously took it off my bill even though I did not ask. The star of the show here was the truffle cream corn. I could have eaten a gallon of it. Overall this was a very pleasant dining experience.

Made a reservation two months in advance for Christmas Dinner, on the reservation we specifically stated that we were celebrating and requested a quiet table near a window. When we were led to a table in the middle of the room by hostess, I requested an other available table in a corner instead, the hostess was visibly annoyed by this and made us walk back to waiting area to see if she could "accommodate this" and came back after a couple of minutes to bring us to the corner table. Mind you, I had made a window table request on the reservation, which I didn't even bother mentioning and it was just a request for literally the next table over but it was just such a petty reaction to make a point of chastising us for making a request that had literally been on the reservation, so it did leave a bad first impression. Luckily, the rest of the meal was very pleasant, thanks to our terrific waiter, Carlos. He welcomed us, wishing us a Merry Christmas and gave us ample time to go over our menu. The food was quite good, though we did experience some hiccups, like my lobster bisque was barely lukewarm by the time I received it. It didn't stop me from eating it as is but if it wasn't a busy Christmas meal service, I probably would have requested a warmer serving. Also, one of our steaks was overcooked, which was corrected but we did have to wait a while since the restaurant was pretty busy. At the end of our meal, Carlos brought us a wonderful Carrot Cake we had spied being served to another customer for my spouse's birthday dessert, and took our photo and presented us with a copy of the photo in a card, which was a wonderful momento of our meal and a very nice personalized touch. All in all, we really enjoyed and appreciated our Christmas dinner at this Morton's and would recommend to others.

We were able to snag a reservation but for a late time which was about an hour and a half before close. The service was super great but one thing I wished they mentioned that the bottled water was going to be a $40 charge lol. Makes sense for any upscale restaurant though. Should've mentioned we wanted tap so fair warning, ask cause you WILL get charged haha. We had a group of 10 and for how big the group was, the food came out pretty fast. I don't think we ever had a time between drinks to entrees where we were waiting for food to come out. We got the watermelons mojito for drinks since it was the most raved about. It was good but personally nothing crazy for me. 8/10 score on that. We also curry popcorn chicken, the ahi tuna lollipops, the empanadillas and the goat cheese quesadillas for apps and honestly overall 9/10. This is where I don't like the sweetness part of this meal. The empanadillas were what I was most excited for but it was more sweet then savory which sort of lose my appetite a little. I think if you like that kind of taste then it's going to be good. It wasn't a bad taste at all. Just too sweet for my liking. The curry popcorn chicken was good and the lollipops were great. Again, nothing crazy. The goat cheese quesadillas was good as well but again, too sweet for my liking. Now on to the entree, they didn't have the porkchop since we came late so I ended up getting the porkchop belly dish. When it came out, it looked amazing but then I got a whiff of it and smelled cinnamon. That's when I was sort of disappointed. It was like eating pork but tasting Cinnamon Toast Crunch and as said before, it tasted great but too sweet for me. This one was way too sweet to where it seemed like a dessert item. I just had poor luck and got one of the one items that were sweet. This doesn't tank the rating down whatsoever because I also should've read it had cinnamon. It would've been great if they made a dipping sauce or something to pair it with and not have it on the pork belly itself. I got to try other dishes my friends got which were good as well but I wish I got to try something else. If I came back I would try the sold out item which was the pork shank or the sea bass. I know for a fact the sea bass was amazing. Had a bite of it and thought "I'll come back for that" Overall, 10/10 experience and nothing bad about the place but gotta try different items when I go next time. I understand the hype now

I suggest doing reservations at least 3 weeks in advanced if you want to time that you want especially during peak days like Fri, Sat, etc. When we came in, the staff were very hospitable to us. This establishment has was very intimate, well lit; upon entry the music was a bit loud but then became manageable for casual conversation. We saw a good amount of large parties as well so they have good reputation for celebratory outings. We started off with drinks, ordered the Paper Plane, was very sour but wasn't bad in my opinion (Rating: 7.1/10), but the Perfect Lady on the other hand, was amazing lavender goodness, I don't think I have had a bad lavender drink yet from any place I have had so glad they kept the train going (Rating: 9.0/10). Next, for appetizers we ordered the Empanadas, that have different flavors everyday. The day that we came, the flavor was BBQ pulled pork, which I personally absolutely loved. Crispy, not hard exterior, hot and fresh (Rating 8.8/10). For the entrees, we ordered the Tacos De Mero Empanados (Fish Tacos with Chipotle Coleslaw) and the Milanesa De Pollo. The fish tacos were definitely the best dish at the table, came with 3 tacos that had rich flavors, ordered from the "Daily Specials" section of the menu (Rating 8.4/10). Next, the Milanesa De Polla was a large, breaded chicken breast that was honestly good for multiple people, came with side of arugula and cherry tomatoes with light dressing (almost nonexistent to be honest). It came with a sauce on top, like an aioli that wasn't bad honestly. This dish was a good safe option if you aren't sure what to get (Rating 8.1/10). I wanted to originally order the Pastelon De Amarillos but they were out of stock of that dish during the visit. Overall, Santaella offers pretty extensive menu with foundations of a high quality restaurant. Their service during our visit was definitely top of the line, no complaints. I just wished they had more than 2 single use bathrooms as the line definitely added up which could pose an issue for guests with urinary urgency/frequency. Pricing also wasn't horrible, was able to get a full course dinner for 2 for under $150 so can't really complain, just check their menu before going if you want specifics. They also have Rooftop Sundays at Azotea for those who are interested in their alternative dining setting. This place was good nonetheless and I would recommend it, is right in between fine dining and casual making it good for those dressier date nights.

It is very dark inside and there was a live DJ, which made it extremely loud. If you are looking for a quiet dinner or easy conversation, this probably is not the place. That said, the energy clearly works for a lot of people and the restaurant was busy. Reservations are very much a good idea, especially during peak times.

I TRULY appreciated that they did not take anything off the menu but rather told me how they could adjust for my allergies.
