They actually care about the people they serve and it encouraged the people to change. On Sundays they have a family church service inviting in the community that is bringing former addicts, drug dealers, gangbangers, homeless and at risk youth and young adults to actually successfully change their lives. For young people their is a leadership college. That gives them life and job skills in ministry. It's a pretty incredible ministry.

Wanting to meet new people, I joined Newcomers. I attended my First luncheon in October and was seated with other new members. People were very open to meeting each other. Later, A meeting conducted by some Of the board members, was held for new members to learn about the club. Happily, I met some Really fun ladies and we exchanged information and began to Meet On our own, as well as at group events. Less than a year later, I am looking forward to getting even more involved, and have even volunteered to serve on the board. I definitely Recommend this group To anyone who is new to the area, or who is looking to meet new friends and/or to participate in a variety of activities. Most of the women are older ( about 55-85), but there is a nice sense of camaraderie, and it is a pretty friendly Group that sponsors a wide range of activities that includes opportunities to Meet for Book clubs, card games, crafts, happy hour and lunch or outdoor events like golf dates, pickle ball, and a daily walking club.

You can also drop your kids off at their "daycare" for a few hours while you get your workout on, and on days the daycare is not open, it's an open play room for kids!! There are billiards on the second floor and a few empty rooms upstairs and downstairs that you can rent out for various occasions, all info you need us up front! You're even able to bring guests (2 per member for free, 5.00 thereafter I believe) and enjoy it with all your friends. All service members are kind, curteous, and attentive!
