If you're around Gig Harbor stop by and check out Fondi. Their pizza is baked in a brick oven and gets that nice crisp crust that I love. Their pizza is delicious, they have nice selection of beer on tap to go with your meal. For dessert they have gelato and my all time favorite crème brûlée. My brother fly's in from California just to have it.

Went to Fondi Pizzeria in Gig Harbor after a movie, and I totally forgot how awesome this place is! As someone who really enjoys good food, this place hit the spot. You order at the front, they give you a number, and you sit down and can order drinks or dessert from the table. Started off with an amaretto sour, and seriously, it's one of the best cocktails I've had in ages (pic in the review). The pizza was incredible--prosciutto, diced garlic, fresh arugula, and that balsamic reduction drizzle... it was so good. Every bite was just packed with flavor. We went as a family--me, my wife, and our daughter--and it was perfect. Great food, super chill vibe, and it won't break the bank. If you're in the area, definitely come back to Fondi. It's worth it every time.

From the pizza to the salad, everything here is exceptional. I ordered a cheese pizza for the kids and enjoyed my favorite, the Gorgonzola salad. The kids loved their pizza and couldn't stop raving about it. The service was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly kind. I'll be back very soon!

Pizza and breadsticks were excellent. Actually became one of my favorites after just trying it only once. The restaurant was nice and airy and we sat outside so that was nice. Service from our actual waitresses were good. However, minus 1 star because we stood there for a few minutes when first arriving and staff just stared at us. When finally "greeted" it was more of just the person going behind the counter and again staring at us. No greeting and I was the one asking him that we're ready to eat and be seated. And actually as I write this it's making me upset and so it's actually worth minus 2 stars. Cause it's bare minimum to just say hi and welcome and that wasn't even done.

It's all great!!! Everything I've ordered here has been excellent. If you like your pizza a little crispy like I like mine, just tell them whe you order it and they will make it happen. Their crust is perfect whe crispy. Their lunch and denner specials ate great too. If you're hungry in Gig Harbor, you don't want to miss this gem. When I eat here, I think of my time in Napes and Sicily. It's the real deal.

Dropped in for a lunch pie and Fondi abides. I had the lunch 10", pepperoni and a wonderful iced-tea. You walk-in and order at the counter and your meal is delivered to the table. On the exit you pay at your table. I like not giving a card to pay and they disappear with my card. The dough and sauce are made in-house. Nice touch. All in all a great pie. I think next time i would request my pizza to stay in the oven a couple more minutes. Very good service, and the Chef came to my table to chat me up.

Went there for lunch and had the lunch pizza and soup/sandwich meal. Service was friendly and attentive. The pizza was super greasy and average tasting. The tomato soup was also greasy but I did enjoy the flavor a lot. The sandwich was on point. My only true complaint was the temperature. It was cold in there, I even saw some of the employees shivering and rubbing their arms to try to keep warm. Whoever controls the air system was a total jerk, as soon as we walked in I could feel and hear the a/c. It it was a cold October day outside, there was no reason to have the air on blast.

The pizza was phenomenal- steak delicious- meat sauce pasta incredible and brushetta to die for! Each dish is obviously made with care and flavor that you can tell comes from passion and pride. Their wine selection is excellent and perfectly paired with the menu. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the integrity and kindness of the people who run it. I accidentally left my purse on the floor with my ID, cash, and credit cards inside. Not only did they keep it completely safe, but THE OWNER personally drove it to me the next day when the restaurant was closed. That level of honesty and going above and beyond is rare. The purse itself was worth several thousand dollars. In it was 2 Day passes to Disneyland - my family was leaving on vacation in 2 days (I know how stupid to have in my bad but I just picked them up at Costco). Amazing food, warm hospitality, and even more amazing people. We try to support local businesses and don't like to criticize unnecessarily. However, our experience tonight was uncomfortable enough that we felt it was important to share. I called ahead and was told we could put our names on the waitlist. My husband went in to do that, and there was clearly some confusion about whether reservations are taken or whether you must physically wait on site. That misunderstanding alone wouldn't have been an issue. What was upsetting was how he was treated. The woman who appeared to be the owner's wife was extremely rude and abrupt. She pointed at him and said, "No! He can sit and wait!" in a way that was demeaning and made him feel very uncomfortable. Regardless of the policy, there is simply no reason to speak to a customer that way. Because of that interaction, we chose not to stay and instead drove to a nearby town for another Italian dinner. The contrast was striking--we were greeted warmly, treated with kindness, and had a wonderful experience. That's where we'll be taking our business going forward. We understand restaurants are busy and stressful, but how customers are treated matters just as much as the food.

I liked how they pre-tossed the salad for you so that each piece of lettuce was dressed. We also ordered the18inch Adam's Wild Mushroom pizza with the gluten free crust. Gluten free people- great news!! Their gluten free crust was soooooo good. I honestly had to ask my fiance if he thought it was actually gluten free. It was thin and chewy, which is hard to find in a GF world. I enjoyed the white sauce on the pizza, as well as the mushrooms. I couldn't taste the spice in the spicy evoo, and I thought the pizza needed a little extra saltiness to round out the flavors, so I asked for some parmesan which they brought out freshly grated. Overall, I would come back again to try another of their GF pizzas. Do they have a HH special? That would be awesome.
