    The classic American breakfast!
    Max K.

Our family had a wonderful experience here! It is inside do the Silver Cloud Hotel (the nicest Silver Cloud I've ever seen) and has floor to ceiling windows showcasing views of the water everywhere. There is also a great amount of natural light and free valet parking (with validation). The food itself was also great! I highly recommend the banana breads it was warm and came with really tasty cinnamon butter. I also recommend the eggs Benedict as well as the breakfast burger, but you really can't go wrong. Our waitress was also really nice and checked in on us regularly! Higher priced than the rest of Tacoma, but nothing compared to Bellevue/Kirkland and right on the water!

I absolutely love having a meal here with a loved one sitting next to the floor to ceiling window facing the waterfront. The service, food, and drinks are always exceptional. I still dream about their bucatini.

service was amazing of waiter was super attentive, refilled our glasses without asking, and thought of condiments before we even asked! the space itself is small but spacious, great for a breakfast/brunch date or a birthday brunch, can be upscale or casual. the food was delicious not the best avocado toast i've had but definitely the best well seasoned breakfast i've had in a while!

Copper and Salt Northwest Kitchen is a nice restaurant located in the Silver Cloud Inn at Point Ruston. The menu features Italian and seafood dishes, with a brunch menu and a full bar. It's a solid place to check out at Point Ruston. I visited Copper and Salt Northwest Kitchen with a bunch of people from my conference for dinner, which turned out to be a fun time. There was a group of 12 of us, so gratuity was included and our server was very friendly and checked in on us throughout our dinner. Learning that the pastas are handmade, I decided to get Italian for dinner. Since I was undecided on which pasta dish to get, I asked my server to recommend his favorite one, and he chose for me the Tuscan Sausage Gnocchi, which was fantastic. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and the sausage brought a lot of great flavor. I also loved that there was kale, which soaked up the sauce and was a great balance to the sausage. I'm always skeptical of hotel restaurants, but this one was a pleasant surprise. If you're looking for some Italian or seafood dishes, Copper and Salt is a good option for it, with a large restaurant that overlooks the water.

The last piece of the house made focaccia & both entrees

My husband and had a spur of the moment date and this place was recommended. We love this area so decided to give it a try, we called about a wait time and were given a 45 minute wait so we checked in a spent some time outside taking in the gorgeous view, it was a bit chilly so we decided to hang out in the hotel lobby where they had lots of seating and a beautiful fireplace until we were seated. The menu is very selective and our waiter kindly explained the dishes to us. We had the house made focaccia to share and it was just absolute perfection! For the entree I had the chicken Milanese & my husband had the wood grilled kurobota pork chop. Of course we shared both entrees, we were both so blown away by the perfection of every single thing we ate! Highly recommend this place, & we will absolutely be back, hopefully to try the breakfast menu.

The restaurant is situated within the hotel. It's essential to make a reservation, or you might face long wait times. I visited here with a friend of my mom's, and we received excellent service. The food was incredibly tasty, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked--crispy and delightful. We dined during brunch, and I would certainly love to experience their dinner menu. While I didn't order any drinks, I noticed the bar was quite busy, and other guests seemed pleased with their beverages. I would say the atmosphere is very welcoming. The restrooms were impeccably clean. Overall, the service was outstanding, and our meals arrived warm and delicious. -stroller and kid friendly environment

    Charcuterie (V-Day Special)

Decided to try this restaurant out for our Valentine's Day date night this year. The ambiance is nice and this location has great views of the waterfront, but I'll be honest this is mostly a location you only come to for the views. The food itself just isn't anything to rave over and is pretty overpriced in my opinion. We started off with the charcuterie which was basic and something I could've made at home. Wish they had some of their own elements to it, like a nice bread or unique cheese to make it worth trying. For our entree we both had the seafood bucatini. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The sauce was just bland-only a hint of lemon and the rest of it was watery and flavorless. The noodles had nothing to absorb so it made the whole dish feel flat. Our service was great and the staff checked on us often and thanked us for coming, I just don't think we will be coming back unless the quality of the food improves.

Spaghetti Pomodoro and Classic Burger with Fries

We first heard about this place through a suggestion, but initially, we decided to explore other options. However, on a spontaneous decision, my husband and I finally gave it a try one day. Our first experience was quite pleasant--I enjoyed a Bloody Mary (Bunny's Brew) and a burger, while my husband savored some wine along with the spicy pork belly sandwich. We also started with a meatball appetizer. Overall, we appreciated the good service, charming ambiance, and delicious food. Our second visit was even better, especially sitting by the window with stunning views. Once again, the service was excellent, and the food was truly tasty. I had another Bloody Mary (Cooper & Salt Bloody) and spaghetti pomodoro. I can't quite recall what my husband ordered, but I remember sharing a delightful Tiramisu for dessert. By the third time, we came with the family to enjoy dessert after lunch. Most recently, during our fourth visit with friends, we found that the service and menu remained consistently enjoyable. All in all, this is a fantastic place to dine, with beautiful outdoor views--even on rainy days. My one curiosity is whether the menu changes? Although every visit has been wonderful, seeing some new dishes would make the experience even more special!

Not a huge fan of the ambience in Bar Rosa, plywood floors and very dark. We were sat in a booth, and it was as the sun was setting. The windows are all illuminated and beyond filthy (inside) - it was hard not to notice with the windows open and leaning towards our table. I also was the unfortunate one to have the sun straight and my face for about half of our dinner. Service was hit or mess. We waited a long time with no check in for more cocktails. The cocktail choices are great, however, they were out of a particular cocktail my friend wanted to order. We started with the meatballs, not good. The sauce however was phenomenal! Meatballs were just very dense and dry. The appetizer came out not even 5 minutes after our order was put in, so they were lukewarm at best. When we ordered our pizza, they were out of the homemade sausage, this was Saturday night at 6pm???, so we ordered the foraged pizza as is. The pizza was delicious. My friends ordered the Marguerita - crust was a bit over done. Food was good- $30 a pizza good, not in my opinion. Hi, generally do not leave negative reviews- I look for the silver lining at majority of restaurants I visit- but this was a tough one for me. Again- maybe an off night.

No reservations. There was 1 spot open in the small dedicated lot and then I found a spot on the street. Recommend coming in fewer vehicles if possible. No reservation at peak dinner time (5:30) on a Wednesday, the host (and manager?) found a spot for us promptly anyway and he was super kind and our server for the night. Preschooler was asleep in my arms, but we made it work. We ordered: 1 rose cider (sweet but not too sweet), 1 pulpo (grilled octopus!) starter, 1 boscaiola pasta for the preschooler (boxed leftovers), 1 spring ravioli (more Italian name), and 1 rabbit with polenta entree. Each main came with salad and meal started with bread and whipped butter. We were offered a kid menu option of pasta with alfredo, marinara, or bolognese sauce, but opted for normal menu so we could bring back leftovers. We loved the pulpo and the salads (they offered to box up the preschoolers salad since she was still sleeping). Kid enjoyed the bread. Bit of a wait for mains but nothing out of the ordinary. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Boscaiola was a hit with the kiddo since she loves pasta and sauce and mushrooms and cheese. Husband thought his main was really good. I was so full after eating all of my ravioli. Really impressed with the quality of food and the level of service. A busy place, but as mentioned, we were luckily seated right away. We're thrilled to have finally made it here after our old Italian standby in proctor shutdown and we can't wait to come back! Definitely recommend.
