    Chopped salad

Fondi pizzeria opened in the Proctor area of Tacoma. This used to be another pizza restaurant that went out of business. It's a great location right near all the shops and other restaurants in Proctor. We ordered takeout for our family. Overall takeout was really easy. They ordered online and then my husband went and picked it up. The chopped salad was delicious. You can tell the pizzas and the breadsticks are homemade from scratch. I really enjoyed the pizza, however, my family did not. I think there are quite a few few different types of pizza preferences in the world. I like a homemade crust woodfired.- which is what Fondi idea is. Some people prefer a floppy greasy pizza in New York style.- you will not find that here. Overall, I definitely enjoyed the food.

Fondi is a nice addition to the Proctor neighborhood! I was promptly greeted by the bartender when I walked in and was able to place a takeout order quickly. Building itself is clean and well lit. I went with the vegetariano & a margherita. The vegetariano was really good and the margherita was pretty okay. As far as pizza places go, it's not even close to my favourite, but if someone suggested it I'd be willing to go back.

Fondi just opened this week in proctor. You order at the counter but they also have table service for any additions you want. The interior is really nice and open, with lots of sunlight coming in which makes for a really comfortable ambiance. The pizza was really good, we loved the prosciutto arugula but the classic pepperoni was probably the best in Tacoma, the crust is really delicious and is clearly made from scratch. The salad was enough for two people to easily share. We weren't huge fans of the sauce that came with the breadsticks but the bread itself was also really good. All the pizzas were under 25$ and I thought it was a fair price for the high quality of the ingredients. Over all it's a high quality pizza place that offers dine in or take out and is a great pizza spot, I will definitely return!

Excellent Neapolitan style pizza. Reminds me of my visits to Naples over the years. Excellent service by people who like their jobs and love the food they serve. Highly recommended

Stopping in for the first time since they opened for beer, salad, and pizza.

We stopped into Fondi's new location, Proctor, last night, and had an enjoyable time. It was very busy, which is a great sign, and we were fortunate to be able to sit in the bar. If you have been to this location before (formerly Millhouse and Blind Pig), there used to be a separate bar and restaurant, but they have knocked down the wall and the bar seating is only at the bar. This was fine and this is the only way you get full table service. If you come in the main entrance, you order up front and find your own seat. I think that's my least favorite part of Fondi. If I'm going out to eat, I really like to have full table service. Also, because of the very open concept, It's quite loud and a wall or several might be nice. Haha. However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and our food was delicious. We started out by sharing a chopped salad and holding the meat, as I am vegetarian. We also had a four cheese pizza and it was cooked perfectly. They were out of two of the four tap beers, so I was bummed by that, but not too big of a deal. They haven't been open very long. I'm excited to go back with our daughter, but I'm hoping we can find a time where it's a little more chill. I think they will have great success at this location!

    Italian sausage and pepperoni pizza

Service was great with the exception of the re fire on my pizza I'll assume it got burnt the 1st time around but still not a long way. The oven heated bread with the dips was good my pizza was good but I'm one who likes a pineapple, jalapeño option neither were but yet the pizza was still good I'd go back if suggested but wouldn't be my choice

No reservation at peak dinner time (5:30) on a Wednesday, the host (and manager?) found a spot for us promptly anyway and he was super kind and our server for the night. Preschooler was asleep in my arms, but we made it work. We ordered: 1 rose cider (sweet but not too sweet), 1 pulpo (grilled octopus!) starter, 1 boscaiola pasta for the preschooler (boxed leftovers), 1 spring ravioli (more Italian name), and 1 rabbit with polenta entree. Each main came with salad and meal started with bread and whipped butter. We were offered a kid menu option of pasta with alfredo, marinara, or bolognese sauce, but opted for normal menu so we could bring back leftovers. We loved the pulpo and the salads (they offered to box up the preschoolers salad since she was still sleeping). Kid enjoyed the bread. Bit of a wait for mains but nothing out of the ordinary. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Boscaiola was a hit with the kiddo since she loves pasta and sauce and mushrooms and cheese. Husband thought his main was really good. I was so full after eating all of my ravioli. Really impressed with the quality of food and the level of service. A busy place, but as mentioned, we were luckily seated right away. We're thrilled to have finally made it here after our old Italian standby in proctor shutdown and we can't wait to come back! Definitely recommend. Parking: you can find it, not plentiful but not bad either. Kid friendly: sort of! If your kid likes pizza or pasta!

When he dropped off drinks...no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our thank yous to him. Utterly embarrassing for the establishment, and for us to support it. If you are that miserable, you should not be outward facing to represent a business. My first time at West 122 as I had been wanting to try this for months. Here's the positives... Love the brick and mortar ambiance inside. It just had an overall good community vibe. Presentation of food was beautiful. What else we experienced... My friend ordered a Sprite and I ordered a cocktail. She was served a lemonade and my drink was pretty sour so I ordered some simple syrup. The Sprite came but it took 20 minutes to get my simple syrup. By that time I was sort of over having a cocktail. Honestly, the venue was not full and all I wanted was some simple syrup in a shot glass. We ordered the burrata, caesar salad and the special with the octopus tentacles, asparagus, peppers and capers over polenta. The caesar salad on the menu lists "red gem lettuce tossed in house-made caesar dressing, topped with bread crumbs and shaved parmigiano reggiano. While I liked the idea of not having croutons as they're sometimes difficult to maneuver with a biteful of salad, there must have been a quarter cup of bread crumbs over the top, so much so that you couldn't even see what was underneath. Next, the menu describes the burrata as "creamy burrata with pea vines, roasted peas, pickled asparagus, and artichoke." When it arrived, we were truly wondering if we had ordered the right thing. Only until we moved the sea of greens did we see the burrata. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that we were actually ordering a salad with burrata underneath. Very unfortunate and misleading because my friend ordered the Caesar for dinner and didn't know she was actually getting a second salad. In addition, we ordered the baguette with butter/oil and what came to us for $11 or some rather non descript rolls. The octopus special was the star of the show. The colors, flavors, char on the octopus...everything except that it was surrounded by a fair amount of paprika oil, so much so that I had to work around it in order to not give my stomach a run for my money later in the evening. A dish I wanted to finish but just couldn't because of that issue. In addition to that, refills of water were non-existent and it took close to 50 minutes to get our dinner. Also, our waitperson was very pleasant but seemed rather overwhelmed. Even after waiting 15 minutes for the simple syrup, when she finally did bring it, she looked surprised that I no longer wanted it. Yes, she took it off the bill, but I would have much rather enjoyed one of the specialties of the house. So many mishaps that didn't need to occur. Truly disappointed that our evening went that way.
