    Quad all meat

We were nearby for a baseball showcase and found this place on yelp. We have been craving deep dish pizza since our Chicago trip a year ago. It did not disappoint! We were new to try the Quad, with all meat, we also got a traditional Chicago with pepperoni. My husbands favorite was the all meat but the Chicago put me in a cheese and sauce coma! The place is a little hidden and very limited seating. We were the only group dining in, everyone else that came were carrying out. I believe the owners were the ones waiting on us. They were so sweet. Come HUNGRY leave HAPPY!

We got the bbq wings and Hawaiian deep dish pizza. The wings were meaty and saucy and the pizza had a delicious crispy crust and was super cheesy and flavorful! Definitely will come back!

Very nice waitress in a weirdly hidden restaurant off the main road. It's very mom and pop, unfortunately with gnats and flies, but the whole point is the food, right? She told us they import all the meats from Chicago so, if true, that's pretty unique. The deep dish was good - nothing to write home about honestly. While we've had better, it's good to know we don't necessarily have to travel to Seattle for deep dish if we don't want to. The meatballs were very tasty (maybe IL just does them better?) and had no weird hard bits, which annoys me with most ground meat. Overall, I'd return.

    Italian beef.. juicy & delicious

Off the beaten path, but a gem & well worth it. Overpriced? A little bit, but if you're looking for the authentic Chicago dog, Italian beef, or deep dish pizza this is the best place in the south puget sound. It's not Al's beef, Tony's, Portillo's, or Giordano's yet, but they are giving it a great try & always open to a typical Chicago opinion.. lol Tasty, fresh, and great service with a smile. The smile doesn't come in Chicago, so that's a bonus.. give it a try.

We were in Chicago last weekend and didn't have time to get a Chicago dog or an Italian beef sandwich. I decided to search for a Chicago style restaurant near Tacoma and found this gem! We tried the Chicago chi-dawg, the Cub (Italian beef), and The Quad deep dish, pan-style pizza. The hotdog was classic and perfect. The beef sandwich with the Giardiniera relish was dynamite. But the star of the show was the pizza. Great ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings; and that burnt cheese pan crust was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. The owner came out and told us about how he adopted his favorite recipes from all the places he loved and worked at when he lived in Chicago. It was a great experience, we'll definitely be going back!

Let's start with the Chicago style hot dog. They advertise Vienna Beef but that's not what you're getting. The hotdog had no snap and the same gross doughy texture that you get with your typical budget brands found at places like Walmart. Onions were chopped way too coarse, the pickle was mushy and they forgot to put on the sport peppers. Now the Italian beef was a little better, a salty grey pile of sliced beef, served lukewarm over a brat bun instead of a French roll. Both items were way overpriced and nothing more than what you could slap together from a small trip to the grocery store. If I wasn't from Chicago maybe I'd be less critical, but there's absolutely no effort here. Now the deep dish pizza I thought was okay, up until I tasted the sausage. Again, cheap pork filler that all has that same weird flavor and heavily processed consistency. You'd know what I meant if you've ever had the sausage from Papa John's. Same garbage. Not the Italian fennel sausage that belongs on such a pizza. If you avoid the sausage, I'd rate the pizza 6/10, but nothing else I had was worth getting.

The service was wonderful the lady was kind and very helpful. I was blown away by the sauce it was perfect. The deep dish was delicious and I can't wait to come back! My boyfriend got the thin pizza where he said it was ok. Honestly I think the deep dish is worth the calories and wait!

The Chicago dog was perfect. The deep dish was the best Chicago pizza I have had outside of Chicago. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back.

Solid Chicago style pizza. Only note is that the chest was moderately soggy. Still good though and will definitely go back.

Paid $30 for a not so fresh pizza. Tasted like the dough was frozen, toppings were not fresh. Disappointed. Service was good though.

I'm a creature of habit with the 6th Ave Strut and Ragin Cajun, but honestly, you can't go wrong; my friends all have different favorites and rave about them every time. Dining in is the best experience, but they've seriously leveled up their takeout game. They swapped the old foil wraps (which led to soggy buns) for specialized takeout carriers, so the quality holds up perfectly even if you're eating on the go. Parking can be a bit of a gamble depending on when you show up, but it is 100% worth the effort. Whether you're here for the food or the drinks, you're guaranteed to find something you love.

I tried the "Tacoma" dog, which was solid, but the real winner was an off-menu special they had--a unique combination of peanut butter, slaw, and Sriracha. It sounds like a wild mix, but it was easily the best thing I ate; the flavors worked together perfectly. Beyond the food, they have a great draft beer list with plenty of variety. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a local neighborhood spot. Highly recommend if you're in the 6th Ave area and want a low-key place with high-quality dogs and brews!

Been driving by here every day for the last six months finally decided to try it. Reviews aren't…read moregood, aren't bad and mine's gonna be the same. I placed an order - it was fairly easy since I had read the menu before, but I specifically ask for my burger to be cut in half and also an order of fry sauce with my onion rings. When I went to pay, they actually physically took my phone from me to do Apple Pay - which most companies won't allow because what if they drop your $1500 iphone - are they going to be responsible for breaking it? They need to have an option where the customer can just tap from their car - after I had already paid, and added a tip -.I asked how many fry sauce it included and I was ask how many I wanted. I said 2 and then he told me it would be $.70! Really?? after I just paid $19 you can't throw in one fry sauce? So they did another credit card transaction once again taking my phone for $.70 -,I know it cost them more than that to process it so they are really the loser there. I can understand charging me if I order five different sauces but really with a $20 meal you can't give me one free sauce? That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth plus my burger wasn't cutting in half as requested.. Took less than five minutes to get my order. Was very shocked to see that I only got three large and two tiny onion rings for almost $5. When they were only two minutes old and hot they were delicious but even five minutes later after they had cooled down, they just tasted doughy and gross. The burger was exactly what I would have at a family backyard BBQ,, literally everything was a Costco ingredient which is fine. It was OK but absolutely nothing special about it. The best part of the meal was actually a small blackberry shake, which was good - once again not great not bad. For $19 with tax and tip it wasn't overpriced for what I got, but it wasn't a deal by any means. And to answer , the age old question, Will I be back? Probably not, but if somebody I was with really wanted to stop here, I wouldn't object.
