Lamb Kabob with Qabuli rice and lamb stew.

Great food and friendly staff! I always get the lamb kabob with Qabuli rice and a side of lamb stew. I love the fresh tandoori naan too.. I highly recommend this place!

It's been awhile since I have eaten here as I no longer live in the area. My friend wanted kabobs and I immediately recommended this place. As we decided to dine in, the staff gave us some free soup while we waited for our food. I ordered the Combo Kabob with beef and bone-in chicken. Not many Kabob spots offer bone-in chicken because it takes longer to cook. I got a side of chicken curry and chick peas. All of these items were as good as I remembered them to be. I highly recommend you try this place out if you're in the mood for Kabobs. The staff here is friendly and are service oriented. Go check them out!

Take out! 1 of 3 meals. Delicious lunch combo. Chicken and lamb. Comes with rice salad, bread and a side. Our favorite I eggplant!

My family and I love this restaurant and have been going there for over 15 years. The service is friendly. Parking is easy. It's right next to Marshall's. We love the chicken, lamb, eggplant, and the green sauce. Highly recommend Ambiance - plenty of tables and places to sit.

    Laid back DELICIOUS kabob!

Yum! I was in Tyson's getting car service at one of the area's many dealerships. I took a little walk around and found this place. I saw a lot of people eating inside, so I thought I'd give it a try. Wow, I'm impressed. The meat is cooked right in front of you so you can see what a solid job they're doing. Prices are super reasonable and portions are large, especially when compared to downtown DC. The boneless chicken breast kabob is seasoned to near perfection! If you are gluten-free, they'll serve your food on a salad instead of on bread, and if you're low-carb they'll give you extra salad instead of rice. They have several side dish curries and I tried the perfectly tangy cauliflower one. What a find! It's a simple place so don't expect ambience, service, or environment. Just damn good simple food.

Food corner kabob house has great service! The food was yummy and affordable! I wish their spicy green sauce was spicier and that their samosas were heated but everything else was delicious & filling. I had the combo with lamb & chicken. The chicken was super juicy & flavorful and the lamb was good too. They gave my friends and I free soups while we were waiting for our orders. Needless to say, it was a good experience and welcoming environment. An employee even came outside to say goodbye! 10/10 would recommend.

    This looks pretty.

This was actually quite impressive! Personally, for the prices they charged, I got a fair meal, probably even a better one compared to what I would have gotten if I had went to Friends Kabob up the road. I think I found a new Persian restaurant to go to in the Tysons area! To play it safe, I got myself a chicken and whatever their equivalent of Koobideh is. It comes on a big piece of Afghan bread, along with rice and a side salad. They also give you chickpeas and some cucumber habanero sauce for dipping. Yum. Because I got there early, the owner was nice enough to give me a small sample of their Afghan soup. He warned me ahead of time that it would be spicy, but I was up to the challenge. It had some noodles and vegetables and spices but it was in fact really good and really easy to take down. It creates a little burn in the back of the throat, but nothing I could not handle. Onto the main course, the chicken was pretty bland. The only Persian restaurant I have been to that has done the chicken right has been Flame Kabob in Springfield *sigh*. Then I tried their Koobideh version. Really good! Nice spice and excellent flavor, and it was not skimpy! The rice was also good too! Not heavy on the butter and worked incredibly well with everything. I also liked the chickpeas (though again, not nearly as good as Flame Kabob), and their bread, which was fantastic. The perfect combination of crunchy and chewy. Their habanero sauce was fantastic. I really enjoyed the food overall and felt that the customer service was that of trying to get the word out and bring in business. This was worth a trip and I was happy to have gotten something positive out of it. I will return next time to try the lamb and maybe a gyro.

Afghan lamb kabob with jasmine rice, flatbread and curry chicken.

I spent the morning shopping for my new apartment and was starving. This was the only restaurant in the parking lot. Popped in. First impressions - they specialize in Afghan food -The restaurant is authentic. The food choices looked wonderful but I settled on an Afghan lamb kabob with jasmine rice and curry chicken. It was served on a large fresh flat bread. I chose curry chicken as my side. Damn! This was good stuff! The bread was off the chart. The lamb and rice also very good. The chicken curry was a little spicy but also very good. My one criticism was that the tables weren't cleaned after people left. Cleanliness is more important than the food to me. The restaurant was clean but no one wiped down the tables while I was there. I live in the district but will be back with friends and family. Very good!!

Excellent authentic afghan kabob with rich spices and the rice is exceptional. The meat stew was fantastic as a side or main dish.

They brought out complimentary little cakes with candles, super cute. We did the a la carte entree option, I ordered lamb potato hash which was delish. Deff would come back! It's an upscale environment and for lunch there were a lot of corporate-looking diners. It's a pleasant atmosphere and the staff carefully seats you tables apart so you're not all crowded and it's not too loud. Excellent. We weren't particularly hungry so we asked share a full menu item and then ordered a salad to share. The prefix comes with either a salad or a dip(?) and we opted for the dip. The kubideh kebab was tasty. It was juicy and fresh. The rice was good. The salad was questionable. We didn't really like it but we didn't hate it. I wondered if it was just the vinegar or maybe mustard that was hitting too strong. My friend thought maybe it was stale like they'd pickled it too long. Not sure what it was but we couldn't finish it. When we had eaten about 60% the server came by and offered us pita bread. It would've been nice to have it from the beginning... Overall I would return to try their other foods.

This establishment seems to be Egyptian owned, as the walls claim that Egyptians created bread, cupcakes and falafel. The service was fine, though the tables could have been cleaner. I appreciate that they allow you to substitute some of the rice portion for lettuce/spring mix although the spring mix was wet. They also offered both spicy and regular options for rice and chicken. I got spicy rice with spicy chicken, and for my toppings I got Mediterranean salad, hummus, and tzaziki. I didn't realize you could also get white sauce, green sauce, etc, so I probably wouldn't get tzaziki and get olives or something else next time. The chicken and rice combo was a bit overly spicy for me and upset my stomach slightly. I'd probably get regular for both the next time. I also got tiramisu which they recommended over all the other "cupcakes" which they claim (via the wall) is Egyptian. The tiramisu was surprisingly good. There was soft music that seems Arabic-speaking. They have fountain drinks as well as bottled beverages. They also include a service charge - it was like $0.42 for me. I don't regret stopping by, but I wish my stomach was more settled. I just came from a restorative yoga class and I was thoroughly at peace.

Well, this time we actually tried it. I'm a simple caveman - we've got a bowl with basmati rice, chicken AND lamb/beef gyro, tahini, and hummus. Hits the damn spot. Fountain drinks, combo options, cups for water, and bottled drinks. You go down the line, say what you want (like every fast casual these days), and end up at the register. Fast operation. Plenty of seating indoors.

I got there after 6pm. It was packed. It was my first there and had no idea what I was getting into. The menus doesnt explain much nor were prices mentioned. Its like $39.99 They also tacked on a service fee. Which is deceiving since its not mentioned upfront in the menu. You find out when you get your bill. The service was 5 stars. The young man very attentive and friendly. Ushered our dirty tables and brought us our drinks. I had minty lemonade which I recommend if your gonna eat a lot. Here's my gripe. Its very important to label food. None of the food trays or stations were labeled. I have several food allergies and I had no idea what was what. I had to ask what was this or that. One tray had rice and I saw something that had deep fried crispy something. I thought it was chicken... it was fish :( The hummus was good though. The baklava meh. The pita bread was good. Some rice tray had kabob type of meat but it was lukewarm. For the price I paid, its not worth it. Please label your trays. Im give this place another try with my husband after Ramadan. , I saw on the dessert menu they have Knafeh.. a delicious middle eastern dessert that I love. Can't wait to try that.
