I really wanted to like this place but for the price and the quantity of food- I'd prefer to go to CAVA or mezeh. At those places you can get as many toppings as you want for similar price point. At Halal Bowl, you're limited to 3 toppings (including dips) and they didn't have much to offer in their topping selection either. My small bowl was $14! The texture of the spicy hummus and the tzatziki looked a little off ngl and didn't look too appetizing. Taste wise nothing special. It wasn't too different from something I could whip up at home real quick especially with the narrow topping selection. Service was okay- portion size of the toppings (non-dip) was very small :( And they got my order wrong but they were kind enough to add chicken when I had gone back and told them I had ordered both chicken and falafel. If you're in the area, I'd honestly check out DCG up the street or one of the fast casual chains I mentioned above.

Just opened on August 30, 2024, this location has friendly service and fast casual Middle Eastern/Mediterranian Fare. The price is moderate and they are generous with the portions. The gyro meat & spicy chicken are go to meats with rice and salad with Mediterranen salad, hummus, tzatziki and white & SPICY red sauce. You can customize bowls, wraps, etc... The ambiance is fast casual sit down which can accomodate about 20-30 customers. There are booths and seats in the back. My son loves and dreams of the spicy chicken meat. Another good place for halal fast causal middle eastern/Mediterranian bowls. The Tiramisu cupcake is EXCELLENT!!!!

    Chicken gyro wrap

Chipotle meets Halal Guys Chicken and Rice. Fantastic options of wraps, gyro, spice, bowls, and comfort food. You can get it mild or you can get it infused with real heat. Both wraps for $20bucks total. Fresh ingredients as well. You won't go wrong!

I got there after 6pm. It was packed. It was my first there and had no idea what I was getting into. The menus doesnt explain much nor were prices mentioned. Its like $39.99 They also tacked on a service fee. Which is deceiving since its not mentioned upfront in the menu. You find out when you get your bill. The service was 5 stars. The young man very attentive and friendly. Ushered our dirty tables and brought us our drinks. I had minty lemonade which I recommend if your gonna eat a lot. Here's my gripe. Its very important to label food. None of the food trays or stations were labeled. I have several food allergies and I had no idea what was what. I had to ask what was this or that. One tray had rice and I saw something that had deep fried crispy something. I thought it was chicken... it was fish :( The hummus was good though. The baklava meh. The pita bread was good. Some rice tray had kabob type of meat but it was lukewarm. For the price I paid, its not worth it. Please label your trays. Im give this place another try with my husband after Ramadan. , I saw on the dessert menu they have Knafeh.. a delicious middle eastern dessert that I love. Can't wait to try that.

This was my family's second visit to Dolan and it has been superb both times…read more We had dinner at Dolan last night because I wanted to sit outside in the gorgeous weather. We arrived at the tail end of their Iftar buffet and the restaurant was pretty full, but the manager (owner perhaps?) was so gracious and accommodating. Nobody else was sitting outside but he had the server set up a table for us within a few minutes. We ordered a sort of deep fried cheese stick wrapped in phyllo dough (can't remember the name!) which comes with a yogurt and dill dipping sauce - excellent! We also had the goshnan, a traditional meat pie with lamb and beef. The pastry was flaky and buttery and the mixture of meat and spices were very delicious. My son and I shared a chicken pide - a flatbread with cheese and chicken - also spiced to perfection. My husband ordered the rock pot soup with noodles and beef (you can also order it with seafood). He said it was very good. Our server was a sweetheart - patient with our questions and attentive even though he had to run in and out of the restaurant. The outside seating is nice because it's set back a bit from the street so you don't have cars roaring by while you eat. The Dolan Chai is not to be missed! It has dates and rose and lots of other wonderful elements. I've never had tea like this before. They also serve it iced which I imagine would be delightful. Note on the pictures: I forgot to take them until half way through so just know that the presentation is better than pictures!
