Stopped here on a trip through the area. Very popular, talked to several 'regulars' who lov the place& advised us on their favorite foods here. Pretty big inside, order at counter + they bring it to you. Very popular, continuous stream of carryout customers as well. Pleasant helpful staff. Hubbie got a meat& rice plate while I got a Shwarma sandwich, plus a dessert that was recommended by a friendly regular customer. It was all good, pretty reasonable cost. Our family has very much enjoyed the chicken kabob sandwiches and other platters here since 2023. Portions are great with friendly service. You can call in advance for take-out orders, or just place an order in person, walk over to H-Mart for shopping, and return in 15-20 minutes. Stumbled upon this quiet mom & pop shop. They are very welcoming and seated us promptly for dinner. My favorite dish would be their chicken kabob platter. It comes with a bowl of salad. The chicken itself is a little on the drier side but I still like it. They give you a fairly large portion of chicken for the price. I definitely met my protein intake goals for dinner. Best beef shawarma in the area!! Freshly made to order, crisp veggies, delicious pickles and toum sauce and packaged with care. It's wrapped with lots of foil which is much appreciated to keep the shawarma intact and to minimize any mess. Since I've never been patient enough to wait to get home and I devour it in the car I really appreciate the attention to detail in this area. The staff is great, they clearly care about offering great food and service. If you're in a rush, call in advance and give them 25-30 minutes to make your food. They take their time when preparing your order and although some can see that as a bad thing, I think that's a big factor for why the food comes out so good!! 10/10 read more

Food has always been delicious and service beyond wonderful. Very warm and easy people. Their garlic and spicy sauces are amazing. We decided to try Raouche Cafe for something different than our usual places. The food was excellent, so it's no wonder there was a constant stream of take-out customers. We ate in, and really enjoyed the low-key, family vibe of the place. The service was friendly and professional, and we enjoyed chatting with one of the servers about the spices and preparation of our dishes. Went there for an early dinner with a friend. It's in a shopping plaza with H-Mart and Lidl. Plenty of parking available. I ordered the chicken kabob platter and my friend ordered the chicken Shawarma platter. Both were good. Chicken kabobs are made of chicken breast and is thus a little chewy just FYI. My personal preference though I always prefer the thigh meat which is generally juicy and tender. The tea was good but too much mint leaves in it. Overall it was good and prices are competitively priced and portion is good. My only complaint would the service can be good, it's like no one cares. read more

The food is very tasty and it is the freshest tabouli I've ever had. I want to take advantage of their weekly daily specials too, but I keep missing Friday, which is braised lamb shank. Update: I missed the Saturday night special of stuffed cabbage leaves, but the owner had the braised lamb shank in abundance so that is what I got --finally. It was delicious! so tender, but not overcooked. Not overly salted but perfectly seasoned. Not fatty considering it was a lamb shank. They offered me some yogurt to go with it and it was so bright, creamy (yet light and not gloopy) and delicious. I wondered if they had made it themselves. They import it from Lebanon, and though imported it tastes fresher than anything I've had here in the USA before. The people are so friendly and helpful and the vibe is just easy-going. I will definitely be returning and hopefully on every day of the week to test and decide which of the daily specials is my favorite. The daughter of the owner also works here and waited on me and told me her favorites and the dishes that her mom makes and the dishes that her dad makes. What a nice find! Been to this shopping center for H-Mart for years but never stepped inside Raouche until today. Can't believe that I have been missing out for all these years. This nice eatery has a take out counter and a sit down restaurant next to it. The food was absolutely delicious and generous portioned. The 2 of us shared a Baba Ghanoush as an appetizer and each had an entree. Bill came to $40 plus tip. With all the restaurants around us hiking up the prices and each time we were eating out the cost reminded me of a rent paying college... it's felt like a solid place. I feel bad writing this review as my first experience was excellent, but this time was not. Pros: good customer service from the wait-staff and owner, and their falafel was wonderful. I would also say their prices are reasonable (for the foods that are good). Cons: their spinach and cheese pie were not good at all though; they were soggy and unheated. When asked to take it back and redo it, it was still the same. Although they took it off the bill, when asked what changed, they said it was made the day before; meaning they were serving/reheated old food. When we ordered and ate dessert, the Kanafe Bi Jibin, that too wasn't fresh; it was served cold and stale. Perhaps this was a one-off as the restaurant was empty, but the server didn't seem to think anything about it, which makes me think if this is the norm. This used to be my favorite place, but serving old stale food changes everything; I might give the place one more chance, but not anytime soon. read more

Once again - a craving struck - but this time for kebabs. Raouche is a local restaurant that offered a casual environment with a satisfying selection. Wanting to try a variety of items, we opted for the mezze sampler platter and then combination kebab platters. They provided plenty of tasty food. The mezze sampler offered both hot and cold appetizers plus a nice basket of pita. This was a great way to start. We added an extra small plate of kibbeh to share as well. They were well fried and nice and plumply filled. Our combo kebab platter had three different kebabs on a very generous pile of rice and came with a nice side salad. The kebabs we chose were the lamb, the chicken and the kufta. The chicken was a little dry but the other two were very good. The dish came with a small sauce which we used up pretty quickly. We will see if we can get a second sauce the next time we dine. We enjoyed some really delicious tea along with our meal. After some examination, we figured out how to remove the loose leaves once the tea had sufficiently brewed. This first time, we didn't do it in time and so the tea became bitter. It's a very generous pot and we will make sure to be more aware of the brewing time on the next visit. The service was very helpful and the space is clean and quiet. The restaurant is divided between the dining area and the take out/store side. There is plenty of parking in the big lot right out front. read more

The lady that sat us down said we could choose any table we'd like to sit at, but the tables weren't cleaned off (that's where my star deduction comes off) Other than that, the service was very fast! Here's what we ordered: LENTIL SOUP This one knocked it out of the park. I've never had such flavorful lentil soup that adds a squeeze of lemon. Would order again! BABA GANOUSH The texture was well blended yet you knew it was still eggplant and garlic. This went really well with the combo plate and side salad. It came with Pita bread but it's definitely NOT fresh... it was dry and lacking in fluffiness COMBO KEBAB PLATE Comes with a side salad which was nice; I loved the chicken kebab, it was so juicy. The kufta was a little dry but still flavorful. I'm not sure what nuts were in there but it worked really well with the rice (attn: nut allergy). They also give you a garlic butter on the side which amped up the flavor profile of the dish. Overall I would definitely come here again! Our company, EX1, has trusted Raouche Café to cater our office holiday party for several years now, and they always deliver. I have been going to Raouche since I was a teen and it has been a staple! I get catering from them often as it's a fan favorite. The food is amazing and always on point. I got the falafel wrap with salad on the side to go, and to be honest, it's just okay on the account that the filling isn't quite well distributed, and there was too much breading. They do have a lot of sweet treats available from scratch for the end of Ramadan, so that's always something to look forward to. The dining area closes around 8 PM, but they close at 9 PM. read more

This Lebanese place is a gem! I had such a wonderful experience - I went with a group of people and the restaurant was very spacious. It had quite the lunchtime rush during the weekend. That might've been why the service was kind of slow. I'm usually very patient with these kind of things, but even so, there were several times where I had to signal the employees (for water, getting the check, etc) However, the food was so delicious. We got the baba ghannouj and the grape leaves for the appetizers. Then we got the chicken kabseh and the Raouche combo (comes with 3 choices of meat: chicken, beef, lamb, or kufta). They give out a lovely garlic spread - it's pure white and light (whipped?) but if you spread it onto the rice or meat, it's really great. We asked for another and they were very kind to provide us with 2 more for our table. The rice was not dry at all and was very flavorful. I didn't enjoy the chicken kabseh as much, since I thought the chicken was a little dry and plain. The prices were pretty affordable for the amount of food they give you. You can share amongst 2 people per entree or take home the leftovers for another meal. Highly recommend!! read more

This will be my new go-to Lebanese place!!! VERY affordable and so sooooo delicious. The only thing is that it is not the best service nor hospitality. They're not most attentive when it's busy. It did feel very authentic restaurant with all the Middle Eastern families tho! LOVE the Baba Ghannouj!!!! Their pita is very traditional and thin so def not my fav. I also enjoyed their Tabouleh a lot. The Saturday special is the Malfouf which was definitely very interesting and different. It's an acquired taste, but I'm glad I still tried it. Might not get again next time. The Kabob is SO GOOD. I loved the chicken, kufta, and flavored rice with the toum. My boyfriend and I ordered takeout for dinner from Raouche. The reviews are all amazing, so we were pretty surprised that we were both disappointed with the food. Maybe it was an off evening or it's better dining in (we live half a mile away so it wasn't sitting in the car for a long ride anyway). We split the falafel sandwich, gyro, and labneh. The labneh only came with three 1/4 pita pieces making it through 10% of the labneh. The falafel sandwich was quite dry, as was the meat in the gyro. The gyro did at least have some tzatziki. I know a few others mentioned the dryness in their review, but we decided to give it a try anyway. There was little flavor to most of the meal unfortunately. The portions were perfect with one sandwich per person. Since it was takeout, we didn't have much interaction, but the counter service was friendly and it seemed like a spacious place with a couple people dining in. I came here on the weekend. Parking is plentiful since this place is located in an outdoor strip mall. Service was very fast and the food tasted good. I ordered the beef Shawarma which was nice and toasty outside and neatly wrapped. I liked this since it didn't get soggy or break down like some other places. As some of the other reviews have mentions the meat was cooked well done. That being said, I can understand where they're coming from since overcooking is better than anyone getting sick. I think this is an issue that can be solved by them just asking how you would like the meat done. Overall a great experience for a small restaurant, and plan on returning. read more
