Kabob platter

My mom wanted to eat here on her birthday and so we did! Delicious food, friendly service in a modest, family-friendly and warm space. Stand out to me was the lamb shank - OMG so good. We had lots of leftovers to take home as well.

Stumbled upon this quiet mom & pop shop. They are very welcoming and seated us promptly for dinner. My favorite dish would be their chicken kabob platter. It comes with a bowl of salad. The chicken itself is a little on the drier side but I still like it. They give you a fairly large portion of chicken for the price. I definitely met my protein intake goals for dinner. The rice portion was also large and had a nice, simple flavor. I had to get a to-go box because there was so much to eat.

Went there for an early dinner with a friend. It's in a shopping plaza with H-Mart and Lidl. Plenty of parking available. I ordered the chicken kabob platter and my friend ordered the chicken Shawarma platter. Both were good. Chicken kabobs are made of chicken breast and is thus a little chewy just FYI. My personal preference though I always prefer the thigh meat which is generally juicy and tender. The tea was good but too much mint leaves in it. Overall it was good and prices are competitively priced and portion is good. My only complaint would the service can be good, it's like no one cares.

Pita

The food is very tasty and it is the freshest tabouli I've ever had. I want to take advantage of their weekly daily specials too, but I keep missing Friday, which is braised lamb shank. Update: I missed the Saturday night special of stuffed cabbage leaves, but the owner had the braised lamb shank in abundance so that is what I got --finally. It was delicious! so tender, but not overcooked. Not overly salted but perfectly seasoned. Not fatty considering it was a lamb shank. They offered me some yogurt to go with it and it was so bright, creamy (yet light and not gloopy) and delicious. I wondered if they had made it themselves. They import it from Lebanon, and though imported it tastes fresher than anything I've had here in the USA before. The people are so friendly and helpful and the vibe is just easy-going. I will definitely be returning and hopefully on every day of the week to test and decide which of the daily specials is my favorite. The daughter of the owner also works here and waited on me and told me her favorites and the dishes that her mom makes and the dishes that her dad makes. I also look forward to trying the fatayer and sambousek. Count me a big fan.

What a nice find! Been to this shopping center for H-Mart for years but never stepped inside Raouche until today. Can't believe that I have been missing out for all these years. This nice eatery has a take out counter and a sit down restaurant next to it. The food was absolutely delicious and generous portioned. The 2 of us shared a Baba Ghanoush as an appetizer and each had an entree. Bill came to $40 plus tip. With all the restaurants around us hiking up the prices and each time we were eating out the cost reminded me of a rent paying college... it's felt like a solid place. Raouche is going to be our repeat take out place for sure.

Fattoush Beef Shawarma Salad

This one of our favorite casual Lebanese restaurants in the area - always a friendly welcome from staff and the food is consistently fresh and flavorful. The lentil soup is absolutely perfect, especially on cold days. I also enjoy the Beef Shawarma Fattoush, as does the rest of my family. Another must-try is the mezza sampler; delicious and generous!

Once again - a craving struck - but this time for kebabs. Raouche is a local restaurant that offered a casual environment with a satisfying selection. Wanting to try a variety of items, we opted for the mezze sampler platter and then combination kebab platters. They provided plenty of tasty food. The mezze sampler offered both hot and cold appetizers plus a nice basket of pita. This was a great way to start. We added an extra small plate of kibbeh to share as well. They were well fried and nice and plumply filled. Our combo kebab platter had three different kebabs on a very generous pile of rice and came with a nice side salad. The kebabs we chose were the lamb, the chicken and the kufta. The chicken was a little dry but the other two were very good. The dish came with a small sauce which we used up pretty quickly. We will see if we can get a second sauce the next time we dine. We enjoyed some really delicious tea along with our meal. After some examination, we figured out how to remove the loose leaves once the tea had sufficiently brewed. This first time, we didn't do it in time and so the tea became bitter. It's a very generous pot and we will make sure to be more aware of the brewing time on the next visit. The service was very helpful and the space is clean and quiet. The restaurant is divided between the dining area and the take out/store side. There is plenty of parking in the big lot right out front.

My friend had surgery down the street today and we were starving so I looked on Yelp and found this restaurant. Let me say, this food was incredible! The staff was lovely. If I lived close by this would be a weekly stop. We got the babaghannouj, labneh, stuffed grape leaves, the chicken fatoosh shwarma with half rice and the beef fatoosh shwarma with half rice

I've picked up carryout from here a few times and I enjoy it. The portions are good, however I've ordered the same item and it had been plated completely different, hence minus 1 star due to inconsistency. The food is delish, good size portions. I am always satisfied when I pick up food from here.

Kabob Combo Platter

Speaking for dine in experience: We came here and it was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon. The lady that sat us down said we could choose any table we'd like to sit at, but the tables weren't cleaned off (that's where my star deduction comes off) Other than that, the service was very fast! Here's what we ordered: LENTIL SOUP This one knocked it out of the park. I've never had such flavorful lentil soup that adds a squeeze of lemon. Would order again! BABA GANOUSH The texture was well blended yet you knew it was still eggplant and garlic. This went really well with the combo plate and side salad. It came with Pita bread but it's definitely NOT fresh... it was dry and lacking in fluffiness COMBO KEBAB PLATE Comes with a side salad which was nice; I loved the chicken kebab, it was so juicy. The kufta was a little dry but still flavorful. I'm not sure what nuts were in there but it worked really well with the rice (attn: nut allergy). They also give you a garlic butter on the side which amped up the flavor profile of the dish. Overall I would definitely come here again! I hope next time they would have cleaner tables upon entry and better pita but other than that, it's great. I'd like to give their sandwiches and fries a shot too!

Love the gyro! Uses the thin kind of pita, looks like a wrap. If only it was slightly bigger, I always want a 2nd one.

I got there after 6pm. It was packed. It was my first there and had no idea what I was getting into. The menus doesnt explain much nor were prices mentioned. Its like $39.99 They also tacked on a service fee. Which is deceiving since its not mentioned upfront in the menu. You find out when you get your bill. The service was 5 stars. The young man very attentive and friendly. Ushered our dirty tables and brought us our drinks. I had minty lemonade which I recommend if your gonna eat a lot. Here's my gripe. Its very important to label food. None of the food trays or stations were labeled. I have several food allergies and I had no idea what was what. I had to ask what was this or that. One tray had rice and I saw something that had deep fried crispy something. I thought it was chicken... it was fish :( The hummus was good though. The baklava meh. The pita bread was good. Some rice tray had kabob type of meat but it was lukewarm. For the price I paid, its not worth it. Please label your trays. Im give this place another try with my husband after Ramadan. , I saw on the dessert menu they have Knafeh.. a delicious middle eastern dessert that I love. Can't wait to try that.

The staff has always been friendly and attentive. On this visit, we ordered the appetizer sampler, lamb chops, and the Adana kabab. Everything was excellent. The appetizer sampler is a great way to start the meal, the lamb chops were cooked perfectly, and the Adana kabab was flavorful and well seasoned. My only disappointment came at the end of the meal. We were planning to order dessert, but the kitchen had already closed. It would have been nice if our server had stopped by a few minutes earlier to let us know the kitchen was about to close and ask if we wanted to order anything else. That small bit of communication would have made the experience even better. Overall, this is still a great restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I would recommend a reservation because it was quite busy but the bar always had space. Food was a 5/5 but service was a 3/5-4/5 - bartender and bar service was extremely slow. Probably waited 20+ minutes to order a drink, got water refilled once in a 3-hour timeframe, and had to reask for things like extra bread, to order, etc. We started with the Mayhbar items, including the falafel, hummus, and the kashke e-bademjan. They give this very thin bread but ask for extra because the HH portions are large. We did ask for mushroom hummus but somehow normal hummus came out instead. The hummus was so well whipped and the falafel was one of the most soft and tasty ones I've ever had. The grilled eggplant was good too but when we finally got the mushroom hummus, it was absolutely fantastic as well. Do not miss out on the hummus or falafel. For our main we shared the joon kabob platter. The chelow rice was fantastic and crispy, and the meat was so tender. I will say for $95, I wish they gave a bit more kubideh or chicken kabob. I know it's meant to be split amongst 3 but I feel like some cheaper chains easily for the same price would have given you two things of the "cheaper" meat. We got a side of Toum too and it was just absolutely a perfect addition to the meal. Drinks were decent but pricey if not on HH. Espresso martini was a bit creamy but their glass of rose was good (but really light pour for $22 a glass). A bit overpriced to come often but food quality is there.
