However, there are usually spots available on the street (for free, for now). The ambiance is that of a local market. I'm guessing most patrons walk to the store. It's a great market to get a few items that you forgot to shop for at the larger stores. I wouldnt recommend doing all your grocery shopping here! All in all a great market!

I've been to this farmers market over the years - they stopped having it for a while and it was brought back by the ASCENDKemet Collective. This last time I went there was a vendor selling coffee/pastries, one selling pupusas, one selling pizza, two vendors selling green leafy vegetables (like collard greens, kale and bitter leaf), and Bernardino Loera Farms - notable for the seasonal avocado varieties they sell like fuerte, zutano, bacon - whenever the season for those comes up. This one is in a convenient location near the City Heights Library, a nice little park, and an El Super. There is parking on Wightman on the other side of Fairmount Avenue as well as other side streets in the area.

The farmers market stands are set up in one row across the walkway of the front of the park. It's a relatively small farmers market, and you can walk through the whole thing within 5 minutes. Even though it's small, there are plenty of good options. Food stands can include filipino, arepas, thai, argentinian, gyros, quesibirria, sushi, sourdough, desserts, and more! There are also some specialty food stands like probiotic drinks, beef jerkey, and dried fruit candy. And of course there are a couple of fresh veggie stands. On my last visit I got an iced americano from the coffee cart, and a chicken sisig plate from the filipino food stand. I enjoyed my brunch in the shade. The park has plenty of shady and grassy spots to chill at. A great farmers market to visit on Saturdays 9am-1pm!

Hole in the wall places are fun and their food is banging! Parking is definitely tough in some areas. They have updated their hours and they are open on Monday- Saturday from 7am to 6pm. I have tried calling them to ask a question and their phone number does not work, I recommend looking on yelp and making sure they are open. The employees there are absolutely nice and helpful.
