Got the shrimp fried rice and it was very good. A large portion for only $15.00 too! Was ready pretty quickly as well.

Kung Pao Vegetables - special order

Just a little update. The food is still delicious. I had my special order of Vegetable Kung Pao (extra spicy). My husband had the #10 combination of Shrimp, Beef Broccoli, BBQ Pork and Fried Rice. They use fresh ingredients and cooked just right - not overcooked. This visit I overheard the people at the table next to ours, exclaiming how great the food was, and they said they liked it even better than their favorite Chinese restaurant back home. That came from the grandparents, parents, and five kids. They even asked the server how to say thank you in Chinese, so they could thank everyone in their native language. I would say the food in this place is greatly enjoyed!

The house special black pepper lo mein is really tasty! Tender pieces of chicken, beef, and shrimp with lo mein noodles stir fried with sugar snap peas and assorted veggies. The bright and hot pepperiness of the dish is softened with a slightly sweet finish. The salt and pepper shrimp continues to shine; juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and tossed with smoky sliced garlic, onions, and jalapeños! The spicy tofu is by far our favorite tofu dish here. We've also tried the mapo tofu and Szechuan tofu. The spicy tofu was hotter than the other two, nice cubes of firm tofu tossed in a red pepper sauce (similar to gochuchang) with garlic, onions, and jalapeños. We've eaten here several times as well as ordered delivery. The quality is consistent and the food is tasty. Please support this small family owned and run business.

This is their plate of moo shoo pork with egg strips added on top and a generous amount of plum sauce; delicious!!

A very tasty place! They make their own won tons for their won ton soup, which is a very rare thing in this day & age. Their portions are very generous and delicious! Their fried rice options are actually stir-fried and not just colored white steamed rice with soy sauce; it's really good!! The service was very friendly with a great attitude, even accommodating an extra couple of containers for splitting a dish! The dining room is clean with areas for privacy, as well as a separate lottery room and bar if you choose to eat there.

They have a stage with entertainment. We tried the Hawaiian cart Lei, they had a special with pulled pork and chicken, served with macaroni salad, steamed veggies and kimchi. It was a huge portion of food, we shared it along with a dish from the Thai cart Cozy kitchen, we split the chicken and veggies with a side of gyoza. The food was amazing and well priced. We found a table inside the indoor seating and enjoyed the music while we feasted on our meal, after dinner we walked back toward our hotel. It was a nice find close to walking distance from the TAFT district.

One of them (can't remember the name but it was Mexican food) was a bit of a dud but the other two were great. This pod had both outdoor and indoor seating which is nice. The bathrooms, while dark, were clean. Just a reminder that dogs are not permitted and neither is outside food. We don't come to Lincoln City often but I'd come back to this pod in the future.

We started with cocktails, and their selection is great, including some really thoughtful non-alcoholic options with adaptogen tinctures. Decided to keep it light with a soup and salad night, and it was the perfect choice. The soup du jour was a chicken pozole--so flavorful and comforting. The Caesar salad was amazing and hit all the right notes. We wrapped things up with a marionberry cobbler, which was the perfect sweet finish. Service always makes a difference, and Skyler was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. This spot continues to be a go-to for us, and we'll definitely be back.

Assuming most were tourists he wanted to sell himself and recordings to people who will never see him again. I know way too much about his life for a lounge act. Better choice - sit on deck so it is background sounds. The menu is ok and presentation beautiful but flavors could pop more. Halibut was thin and side dishes bland. Filet small and plate beautiful. Ginger Chicken salad looked good too but when asked nobody would order same dish again. Better choice- enjoy a drink on deck and head to other local choices like Side Door.

We haven't been there for quite some time, but we remembered previous visits as being good food for a reasonable price. Both I and our friend ordered prime rib. I had Pier101's prime rib a couple of years ago and it was excellent. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. It looked good when it was served altho I noticed it was thicker than the usual cut, but when we tried to cut it using the serrated knife that came with it, we both had a very difficult time. The the flavor was ok, but it was almost unchewable. We both had a couple of bites and just gave up. To add t our misery, the Caesar salad Romaine lettuce was limp and tasteless and the broccoli served with the prime rib was cold and hard...almost uncooked. I like my vegetables crispy, but this was ridiculous. My husband ordered stuffed shrimp and only ate a few bites. He loves shrimp, but he said the meal wasn't good. When our waiter came to remove our dinner plates and realized we hadn't eaten much he brought the manager to our table (after a rather long wait when we just wanted to leave). She apologized and said sometimes the prime rib they get isn't that good. My question then is why serve it? Anyway, they gave us half off so we ended up spending almost $80 and went home hungry. Needless to say, we will not be going to Pier 101 again...ever!
