Went in for the lunch special - don't sleep on this tasty, generously portioned, and reasonably priced deal. I had their three ingredients special in garlic sauce and it was served with pork fried rice. I had more than enough for another meal! Hubby had the mapo tofu and a I snuck a few bites - very yummy! I really liked Lees! They have a good menu with may choices as well as many combo meals allowing you to easily order a small assortment of your favorite American style Chinese food. Stating off they give you pickled cucumbers which were fresh and tasty. Dining room is clean and all chairs have covers. It's a nice middle class Chinese place with friendly service and the food comes pretty quick! I ordered general tsp chicken fried rice and some shrimp tempura. Weird assortment of items but it was great! I couldn't finish my plate as there was a large amount of food. Cost was relative to today and not expensive for what you get... 16 bucks i think but the meal was huge for me!! Really liked it and will be back to try again. Lee's in Newport was a favorite of ours when we lived down there last year. We had had a prior good experience ordering from the Lincoln City location as well. Portions were generous and everything always arrived piping hot. We were happy with them. There was a bit of a blip for us when they had some Health Code violations so we took a break for a while. Recently though we wanted California rolls and a salad on a warm day and I recalled seeing an " Avocado Salad" on their menu, and that we liked their California rolls in the past. Plus we crave the BBQ pork. So, we ordered from Door Dash. And the salads were beautiful. The BBQ pork was perfect, the California rolls were good too. It was a good experience overall. My former county coworkers always reminded me that the best time to go to a restaurant is after they get caught doing something wrong, cuz that's when they are working extra hard to make it right. Did a Doordash order from this place. I thought it was just fine but not great. Hot and sour soup was okay.. definitely had better. My partner got Moo Goo Gai Pan, which he said was just okay and nothing special. I ordered the #14 combo, which comes with orange chicken, BBQ pork, pork fried rice, and fried shrimp. I thought it was pretty decent but nothing necessarily stood out. I had read that the orange chicken was supposed to be spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all. It is my tradition to order Chinese delivered to my hotel room the first night of a vacation. Note to self: don't do this in Lincoln City!! I door-dashed an order from Lee's, it cost almost $50 before tip. I ordered 3 Pot Stickers, Lemon Chicken, and Sesame Chicken (both with brown rice). I ate the pot stickers first, dipping in a HUGE sauce pot. They were OK. I ate the Lemon Chicken next. Ate is a misnomer, the chicken was so skinny and dry that it was like eating bark. The sauce had good flavor, though. I ate the fattest pieces and tossed the rest. What a waste of $20!! The brown rice was good. I opened the Sesame Chicken next and it became clear that the big pot of sauce was for that!! Instead of pouring it over the chicken, I dipped the chicken in the sauce. Again, the chicken was tough and dry, I only could eat the largest of the chicken pieces and tossed the rest. Again, what a waste of $20!! I would definitely NOT eat food from this restaurant again. We were staying at the D sands across the street. It was raining so we ordered delivery from their website which was very fast delivery. After reading the reviews we were a little suspect. They were mixed so we figured we would give it a try. The ambiance was our hotel bed, but I can tell you the view from the restaurant is the ocean which you just can't beat! The food. They carry several different regions of Chinese food styles, which gives you plenty of options. We ordered the Szechuan general tso chicken, beef with vegetables, and spring rolls. We got pork fried rice, and pan fried noodles as sides. Very much Americanized Chinese food, but the flavor on the general tso was very good! Lots of five spice! And it was crispy! Not soggy. The noodles and rice were simple and just fine. The beef was tasty. A little salt was needed. I mixed the beef with the noodles and added a little soy sauce. Was great! The spring rolls were simple. Came with a sweet and sour and hot mustard. It also came with a sauce that was like a cocktail sauce. That was new to me! All in all this was a great American Chinese food fix! read more

Lee's has been a favorite restaurant of ours since at least 2010. It's a tradition for us to place a large order to eat on during our stays at the coast. The food has been as delicious and reliable as the staff has been dependable and kind. I crave the egg flour Egg Flower Soup and our rule is to always get the Honey Butter Shrimp. Lee's food is always served with the most quality of ingredients, and somehow they have steadily improved on perfection over the years. I have never been disappointed with anything we've ordered, from the orange chicken and Fried Shrimp, to the broccoli beef and BBQ pork. The servings are generous for the cost. I hope to savor meals from Lee's for many, many years to come. read more

Don't get me wrong, we still love Lee's Chinese. We go to the coast once a year and always have to go here. It's a tradition and the food is pretty good. However, it can be uneven and not quite as good as the Chinese food we can get at home in Portland. We have been several times. One year, we went with friends and had a combination dinner for 4, everything was excellent. We had the Palomas once and they were great! Last year, we again had the General Tso's tofu and it was good, but not as good as in the past. The Salt and Pepper Calamari was very spicy this time, too much for me, though my husband enjoyed it. On a recent visit, we had the Long Island iced teas. Though well priced, they were not good, super sweet and didn't seem to have much alcohol in them. The veggie spring rolls were amazing and the sweet and sour sauce was brown, not a neon orange, which we liked. The sesame beef was tasty but we didn't expect it to be sweet, it was very sweet though crispy and tasty. The General Tso's chicken was tasty and not as sweet as some, which was nice, but the coating was a bit mushy, not crispy, which would have been better. There were no veggies in either dish, so we had a sweet meat meal. I love their dining room, it was remodeled a handful of years ago and is lovely. We were there at 8 pm on a weeknight and were the only inside diners, though they were doing a great takeout business. I would highly encourage you to dine inside, great atmosphere and service. If you're in Lincoln City and want Chinese food, I highly recommend Lee's. With a few adjustments to the menu, they would be perfection. read more

The only thing good about this place is that they're open at 10pm on a Saturday night when other places have already closed. However, treat yourself with a protein bar or bag of chips before you spend your money on this place. $50 of practically inedible food. I don't think my combination platter had a single dash of seasoning. 100% sure all of the appetizers are just pre-frozen and over fried in some random oil. The 3 star average on Yelp is spot on. We drive by all the time and they have this awesome light show on top of restaurant, so we finally tried it out. First, I ordered a pirate punch. Made with different rums. Very tasty. Funky glass to serve in, something you'd see in a good dive bar. My war won ton was packed with beef, pork, chicken, shrimp and veggies. Pork was a bit tough. Overall soup was pretty salty, and I love too much salt usually. Did not like some of my shrimp with veins still, but at least I didn't have to fight the tails. Wife hade the Bento box with teriyaki chicken. Big serving with the salad and soup on top. The chicken was in very small pieces which led to them being dry. Everything else was good. Sat by an atm machine that would periodically flash and ding with a message "get Cash". Move that puppy into the bar area where they have the video lottery machines. Would we come back? Probably not. We won't ever go back to Lee's in Lincoln City. Stopped in for lunch and both had orange chicken. Bill was 22 for both which we felt was reasonable. Food was okay. Large portions. After I received my credit card statement I realized the waitress had tipped herself almost 5 dollars without my permission. This was in addition to the 6 we left on the table so she got an almost 11 dollar tip on 22 dollars of food. I'm super disappointed. Spent 40 bucks to get this food delivered. The BBQ pork was cold when it arrived. There's nothing like paying big money for cold food. The almond chicken came with the sauce on the side... meaning just fried chicken... not an almond to be found anywhere. In Seaside Oregon, the almond chicken has chopped almonds on it in addition to the sauce. This was a small amount of some sauce that vaguely tasted like almond. Super disappointing. What saved from a 1 star review was that the egg drop soup was solid. The chicken was weak... the BBQ pork inedible... and 3 pot stickers for 6 bucks - ridiculous price for barely average food. Also, no eating utensils were provided. Luckily, I have fingers. Won't be spending any more of my money here and I suggest you find somewhere else to eat. Thanks, but no thanks. We Door Dashed food from Lee's. We ordered two combinations and some fried rice. Everything was excellent. Our food came to us in less than 25 minutes. I did not have any contact with the Dasher but he was prompt. The Mongolian beef was good. It was heavy on onions but it was still good. The portions are large so be prepared. The one knock is the sauce for the sweet and sour chicken was runny and very sticky. I'll remember that next time. read more
