I read some pretty awful reviews about the customer service here, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I hustled in with my normal jovial jive. Mike kindly greeted me and led me to exactly what I thought I was looking for, Cobian sandals. While Cobian's weren't at all it for me (too tight in the middle of the foot), as I browsed Mike perfectly balanced providing support/giving me product knowledge with allowing me time to try things on slash check things out. In other words, anytime I had questions, which I had quite a few, he was there, but not in a hovery way. He informed me of other products, but really only when it was appropriate. As soon I tried my first pair on, Mike let me know where to find the nearest mirror. I knew I was leaving the store with sandals today, and Mike made that experience a breeze-no hiccups, no funny business, just excellent customer service. I knew what to expect when I entered here and I knew exactly what to look for, at least for myself. While my friends were over looking at the women's section I went about and searched what was available for me. I really wasn't seeing much that caught my eye, but what I did, was mostly the clearance items. Which translates into that it might be the only shoe left in that selection. Honestly, each shoe I took to the associate they only had a few sizes left. I knew they weren't lying about that having worked in one. When you have a shoe on clearance you only have a few sizes left of it and you kind of come to know that size until it is gone. But man, that was always the case. I didn't see anything else that caught my eye and my friends were done looking as well. At that point we thanked the associates that helped us and moved onto the next store.

While we waited for our turn, we browsed around the store with its decent collection of clothes, gear, and some nutrition. They also had some shoes on sale displayed outside. Michelle helped both of us and we had a fantastic experience with her. She truly took the time to help us out and she really seemed knowledgeable given her experience at the store and with all things running. I appreciated how she reiterated not to compare others' reviews because it's different for each person. She first evaluated what type of other exercises we do and our "level" of running and we went from there. Overall, we tried about 4-5 different pairs, each time giving us an opportunity to run on the side walk to assess the feel. I even went back out multiple times trying out a different shoe in each foot. I was between 2 pairs of shoes and Michelle advised me to think it over and to not rush the decision which I truly appreciated!
