I can and will order online, I just feel bad from an environmental perspective doing so when it results in a LOT of trial and error. Significantly better experience than shopping at DSW from a service perspective.

I love the sale but why are socks $20 for 5 or 6 pairs? Regardless of brand, that is crazy! Customer service is good. Someone says hello when you come in but no one offers help or checks in while you're shopping. I'm not sure how many people are working at a time. I've noticed just two people. The staff made sure to let us know they were there if we had any questions. Why my husband was looking over the hats I checked out what the store carried. They had a lot of Padres sports wear but also carried shoes. I looked at the little Vans for toddlers, very cute. They also carried different styles of Uggs wear. The store is very clean and organized. The staff was friendly and helpful not only to us but the other customers that walked in after us. My husband made his purchase, 3 hats. The helpful staff will try their best to give you all of the discounts that you're entitled to. I shop the Santee store as well as the Lemon Grove, which frequently have some interesting finds, making my trips there both fun and productive.

I was dubious as she's pretty low-income but I didn't realize she had an agenda. Her old boots were almost worn out so she was in the market for some new ones. She tried on a couple of pairs of $59 non-Uggs and decided on some high top beige boots that fit her even though they were a bigger size than she usually wears. I just looked around while she tried in boots but I think I kinda fell in love with some lavender UGGS (see photo). Maybe I'll go back and try them on. Meanwhile my friend left happy. The clerk was very helpful and not pushy. There was a bit of a language barrier when my friend specified what she was looking for but it all worked out. The store is spacious, well-lit, organized and clean. They have a good selection of better quality sports shoes and boots, men's and women's. Right before we went in, the string on her sunhat broke and this place had dollar shoelaces so she got a pair of those too. Definitely gonna have to go back and check out those lavender UGGS.

It's a small location but they pack a lot in here. There's always a buzz to the place and always a good amount of people in here even when I come midday on a weekday. You could easily spend 45 minutes here. The parking is not too bad. This location is flanked by a target and has Starbucks, T-Mobile, and other businesses in the same center. The value is pretty decent. Sometimes I think the clothes might be a tad bit higher in price than what I expect a Ross to be. But it's hard to find anything for less. It also cool that they have a lot of items that use sustainable or recyclable materials so you're doing the earth and its resources some justice. Service is simple and quick and efficient. They get you in and out and if you ask for help they'll be more than happy to help you. I find most of the workers are on the cash registers since there's always a flow of people and they try not to get the lines too long although it's almost always is. For that.
