Next to the door are the futbol jerseys for Canada, Brazil, USA, and France. However, the particular kits I was looking for was nowhere in sight. So, I asked for assistance. The service at Desert Birkenstock was exceptional. I wanted to try on several different styles in a range of sizes, and they provided everything I needed. I found my perfect fit! While Birks are a bit of an investment, they're well worth it. My first pair went strong for over 10 years and might have gone even longer if I hadn't gotten them wet. I have purchased two of the six sandals right here. I wear these sandals all year long and one pair has sheepskin so I use them as slippers. They are the most comfortable and supportive sandal I have found. I know they don't always look super fashionable, but who cares when your feet are happy. They are a little spendy but you can often find great deals here and remember these sandals can last you a lifetime so in my opinion well worth the investment. There used to be two locations, but now only this one exists. It is not too far from where I live and I come here at least two to three times a year shopping for yet another pair. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Every season I receive a mini catalog with a postcard enclosed for a deal they will be hosting. I love taking advantage of their spring cleaning special. This includes you bringing in your Birkenstocks and dropping them off. They will treat them with cork sealer, clean the leather and give your sandals a thorough review for any issues that may need to be addressed. Price varies from year to year but I like to have one of my pairs worked on every year. They can also repair your Birkenstocks. In addition to Birkenstock sandals, they carry other brands of sandals and shoes like Vionic, Taos, Olukai (another great sandal), Keen, Dansko, and Alegria. For people that need arch support and insoles, pick up what you need here. This store is really a one stop/do it all shop and that will make me return over and over again.

The staff knew what I was shopping for, but getting help was nearly impossible. Other than assisting with shoes, the employees did little more than point at different sections of the store and send me off to figure things out on my own. To make matters worse, an employee directed me to the wrong size socks. Since I was checking the fit of everything I was purchasing, I opened the socks to verify they were correct. After being given bad information by the staff, I was then charged for the socks because the package had been opened. When I questioned the situation, the owner was called. Instead of listening and addressing the issue, the owner kept making me repeat myself. It felt less like customer service and more like being interrogated. After several attempts to explain the situation, I simply gave up. It's disappointing when a store expects customers to rely on staff expertise, but then refuses to take responsibility when that advice is wrong. Between the lack of assistance, incorrect guidance, and poor handling of a customer concern, I would not recommend shopping here.

Yet it was nowhere to be found on the floor. While Vanessa was helping me. Her team associates were in the back and not on the floor. I was told that the store gets hit with people stealing a lot. The prices are a somewhat equivalent to online brand sites (taking into account of discounts given online), however, getting some testing done on my foot was well worth it since the testing was free.
