Dr. Abo is the best. I've been wearing contacts forever and my past Dr. retired so I was in a crunch to find a doctor that specialized in RPK. From the first time I met Dr. Abo he made me at ease and I even got my contacts for free since my Rx is so bad because of my RPK problems. The insurance Co. considers my lenses to be Medically necessary. And they really are. I can't see without them. The Dr. found my Rx the first time I had my exam. He was patient and very knowledgeable and professional. He has always strived to make my vision even better. He suggested these new lenses, Sclera, that I now feel that I see in HD. Even in my left, bad eye. OMG he is the best and works to make your life better. I can really say that he has improved my life and has helped me get my vision to near perfect. The staff is always professional and the physicians are wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The explain everything to you and put your mind at ease. Very up to date equipment for the exam process. They have a very broad and appealing inventory of frames to choose from and except almost all insurance plans. The also have Saturday hours available which work great for dialation appointments. Online appointment booking and insurance verification so no surprises. Beautiful facility with an inviting environment. I cannot emphasis enough how great this staff is. I ordered glasses and requested that they be tinted. Well when they came in I didn't like the way they looked. Foothill Optometric's welcomed me to return them to get them less tinted. When they came back again...I still didn't love them (shame on me right). Again, not only did Foothill Optometric's let me return them to remove all the tint, they did it free of cost. You know how hard it is to find a good doctor. I've got to say that I have a great one! I don't know about you, but a great doctor needs to know his stuff and be thorough and really care about you. Dr. Justin Abo is all of those things. I now live in Riverside, but I still drive out to Rancho to get my exams just so he can check my eyes. He's really great! On the day of my exam, he was great as usual. I always get great care when I go there, but I was impressed with how he treated someone who wasn't even his patient! I was the last patient and the office was already closed...guess I took a long time trying to decide which glasses to get. You know how it is...there's just too many cute glasses to pick just one. Anyways this guy comes up and tries to open the door, but the door was already locked. He starts walking away. Dr. Abo sees the guy and unlocks the door asks the guy how he can help. The guy says he's not a patient, but one of the pads on his glasses are broken and it's killing his nose. Dr. Abo invites the guy in and goes into the back and fixes the glasses. He comes back out and the guy asks how much does he owe. Dr. Abo says that the kind service he just provided was a courtsey and the guy didn't have to pay anything. Now I don't know about you, but you don't see that happening nowadays--someone really going above and beyond. So I got to give it up to Dr. Abo. read more

My last eye doctor was through Kaiser, and I had no referrals from anyone. Went through my list from HR and checked on line and still wasn't sure. Dr. Abo's office was able to get me a next day appointment and they were great about checking on line to make sure I had coverage through my insurance. I was impressed with their office staff before ever setting foot in the office. Everyone in the office was great when I arrived for my appointment. I had almost no wait before they began the exam. The doctor took the time to explain what we were checking on the eye exam. I had retinal photos, and he was good to explain the results. I didn't need to get new glasses, but was relieved to find out that my eyes were healthy. The process was much easier than I had anticipated and I will be returning next year to see the doctor for my annual exam. read more

Everything was great with our visit! Doctor was very thorough and answered all our questions. They have a great selection of eyeglasses which is awesome! The only downside is that they really push the anti-glare protection (which is $95...not covered by insurance). Yes, it may relieve the strain on your eyes but it's not something thats super affordable when purchasing two sets of glasses. While I would love to have the anti-glare, we couldn't afford to fork out $200 extra. I would highly recommend if you are looking for an optometrist! read more

She is so friendly, smart, and she makes you feel comfortable right away. She saw my son first and was so great with him.
