Buyer Beware! I am…read morewriting this letter regarding a service I received from Eldaricas Nursery. In April of 2021, I purchased 6, 12' Pine trees from Eldaricas Nursery in Acton, California to create a privacy wall on my property. From the first day of planting, the trees were given ample water 3 times a week to ensure their success. About 3 months after planting they showed slight signs of struggle in density and color. I immediately called for Ernesto Huerta (owner) to come and evaluate the trees condition. At that time he told me "The trees are fine and doing ok". Over the course and on several more occasions, I had the owner come out and evaluate the trees and their continued poor condition. Each time, he assured me the trees "were doing fine". Finally, on 4-24- 2022 I had Ernesto, (owner) remove one of the dying trees which revealed the reason for the trees slow demise. The roots system to the tree was so tight and root bound that no amount of water could ever penetrate the hard tight cement like root ball. I explained to the owner, he must have known he needed to soak and prep the the root system and add new nutrient rich soil to help ensure the success of the trees given the root condition of the roots. Instead, he dug a hole, put the tree in packed dirt around it and walked away hoping for the best. Surely he knows his business and trees enough to know the trees would start their slow demise resulting in dead trees after the warranty period was up. Again, I addressed the issue with Eldaricas Nursery several time within the warranty period only to be given "lip service" until the warranty period was up. Now, not only have I lost my initial investment, but I now have to pay for the removal of the trees. I made contact with the Eldaricas Nursery about the situation and if they were willing to compensate in some way. Answer, no. Warranty has expired. Again, buyer beware!! No regard for the trees, and no regard for his customer... Sad.

He helped me diagnosis the problem prior to arrival to ensure we needed scope of service. His quote was accurate. He and his team showed up when they said they would, and he didn't invoice until the work was complete and the problem was solved. Honestly, when compared with previous experiences I didn't think this level of service was possible.
