When I looked up I was just confused because I wasn't even sure she was talking to me or the other person who also walked up next to me on the other side. It was fascinating to see all the information and learn more about how I walk and train. After trying several options, I went with the Nike Pegasus 42, and they are incredibly comfortable. I also signed up for their VIP Family program, which includes discounts on purchases and a 90-day return policy, making it easy to feel confident about the investment. The store carries a great selection of running, walking, and athletic shoes for both men and women, along with apparel, supplements, socks, and accessories. The experience was so good that I actually went back the next day and picked up the cutest running hat that says "Cheaper Than Therapy Run Club." I fully plan on wearing it to the race. He noticed my mother-in-law was wearing a 7.5 wide and although it was a good fit, suggested an 8 wide instead to better accommodate her feet. And it was! She felt more balance and less tension and it showed on the treadmill when she was able to increase her MPH. He didn't just stop at the size, though; he performed a full walking analysis and constantly monitored her stride to ensure the fit was perfect. Even though the store was incredibly busy, Marcos never rushed us. He must have gone back and forth to the stockroom at least a dozen times to pull different options, knowing full well we were only there to buy one pair. He personally swapped her insoles into every single shoe she tried on--and we probably went through about 8 different pairs in various sizes. His expertise really shines when he talks about the technical side of things, like toe-gap and overall comfortability. On top of the technical fit, he has a great eye for aesthetics; he picked out colors that perfectly matched my mother-in-law's personal style. It's rare to find this kind of dedicated service. I ordered Meta glasses for same-day pickup. I was in a rush when I picked them up, so I didn't inspect the box until I got home -- that part was my fault. At first I assumed maybe the glasses just come in a different type of box, but once I opened it, I realized something was off. There was no charging case, and instead the glasses were stuffed into a cheap cloth case. Big red flag! I examined the glasses closely and saw the words "Not for sale." I was so mad! I had paid $400 for the Meta Wayfarer transitional glasses, only to end up with a display pair. I've been a loyal Dick's customer for years, I can't believe I got scammed! I drove all the way back to the store and calmly explained what happened. The male employee helping me was shocked but very helpful. The manager said it looked like an employee may have swapped the glasses and that she would be checking the cameras. She offered to order it for me, but I wanted it the same day so I opted for a refund. Now I'm down $400 until it gets refunded on my card. I ended up purchasing an authentic pair at Macy's instead. So yea, it's a never again. I hope they catch whoever swapped the glasses out. 1 star for the helpful managers and employee who helped me out!
