I love the doctor here, but they are so horrible with scheduling. If someone comes in late, they will see them first as opposed to the person who is there on time for their appointment. I waited 30 minutes for my appointment today because a gentleman who was late, was scheduled before me, was seen the second he walked in the door. I was made to wait 30 minutes. Very unprofessional. At least have a little bit of competency while running a business. I came in to just order glasses and was hounded to buy more contacts. The doctor made me feel like a criminal for using a third-party to purchase contacts previously. The glasses were supposed to be ready in two weeks. They were not. I called them after two weeks and someone told me they would look into it and get back to me. No one got back to me. I called after three weeks. They told me the lenses did not pass inspection and had to be redone. Causing me to wait more time with no communication. read more

It had been a sometime, since I was at for eyes. But I went in to get my eyes checked out for contacts. So, I did not make an appointment, just a walk in. they took in me in right away. No line no waiting. The optometrist took her time to see what I really needed not to quick to push me off. Not like other places I have gone to. She was really great I ordered my contacts on a Monday I was told I should get them in about 2 weeks and to my surprise I had them in my Hand on Thursday of the same week. Ordered glasses on 5/19/23 pd $576.00 for glasses. I was told it would take 2 weeks. Went in to check after 2 weeks and was told a delay because of Memorial day & a new lab. I called 6/15 and asked for an update; didn't receive a return call. Went in today and asked where my glasses were, Arianna, looked at my receipt and looked up order & asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes. My assumption is they were never ordered because of the quick response from her for a refund. After she handed me the receipt, and not saying anything, I said I am waiting for something. Arianna looked at me like she was a robot and said what? I said, an apology. She said have a good day & I said F& k u . Do not patronize this business. And For Eyes needs to train their employees Customer Service. The reason for bad reviews is usually poor, or non existent customer service. I came here to buy a new pair of glasses ..I had a bad experience with the employee, she had measured my perscription for progressives wrong and I was left without glasses for a few weeks .She didn't take any responsibility for making a mistake and I was so aggravated with her I ended up with a non progressive pair...Very discouraged and still couldn't see correctly.. I contacted customer service and couldn't talk to anyone left a grievance online and no reply ..my last resort was to Yelp! And by surprise the store manager who was very concern about what had happened called me up to resolve any issues I still had..I can not tell you how much that meant to me, as a consumer she is where she is supposed to be( public relations) because she is equipped with skills you can't be taught to be compassionate and actually care about not only the customer buy the reputation of the branch she runs ..hats off to you Jennifer Decker.... I purchased glasses here in June of 2006 and they are the worst glasses I have ever received. My eye exam was done by my optometrist and I purchased contacts from him, but the glasses were too expensive. So I went to For Eyes to get an inexpensive pair of glasses to wear first thing in the morning when I get up and just before bedtime. First, the sales clerk talked me out of their $99 glasses because they "wouldn't last". She told me these were glasses for people that bought multiple pairs at a time. When I picked the glasses up, I was wearing my contacts. I offered to take them out, but the clerk said not to remove them, she would just adjust the glasses for me while I kept my eyes closed. Later that day, I took out my contacts and tried to use the glasses. I immediately noticed that everything appeared curved and blurry. When looking at a wall, the center of the wall appeared to bulge toward me. Everything at the outer sides of the glasses appeared blurred and out of focus. I also noticed that the edges of the glasses were not finished and looked like frosted glass. These glasses were much thicker than my old ones. Thinking it was a new, stronger prescription, I gave it a few days so my eyes would adjust, but I couldn't. Finally I returned to the store and spoke to a manager. I brought my prescription and old glasses in, thinking they had made a mistake when entering the prescription. I was also very unhappy with the frosted, unfinished edges of the lenses and the way the scratch-resistant coating seemed to be smeared on the lenses. After testing the prescription on my old glasses and seeing there was little difference, the manager decided the problem was that my prescription would not work with these frames because the lenses were too flat. She said I need a frame where the lenses would have a curve to it, so that the edges could be made thinner. She said she would ask them to make sure the prescription was cut farther toward the edge of the lenses, so I would have more vision. She also told me that finished edges on the lenses were an extra charge item (something I was never told originally), but she would request thinner lenses and finished edges on my replacement glasses. I had chosen this particular pair for a frameless look. After spending hours looking for a new frame, the manager said they did not carry a frameless or even semi-frameless model that would work with my prescription. Since they could not fill my prescription properly, I asked for a refund, but I was told there were no refunds, they would only give me a replacement pair of glasses. Being a contact lens wearer, it was important to me that my glasses NOT have a frame because it is hard adjust to looking only through the center of a lens. I ended up having to buy a pair with frames, which I used for about a month and then gave up on. If I had known that For Eyes could not make me a pair of frameless or semi-frameless glasses with my prescription, I would have never purchased from them. I'm out $220 and using a 5 year old pair of glasses because they would not refund my money. And I'm not sure if I even believe their story about my prescription not working with a square, frameless pair of glasses. I would not recommend buying glasses from For Eyes. read more

I just had a great experience at this location. I was able to schedule an eye exam on-line (with a follow-up phone call from one of the staff). Then I got great service from the sales staff. I'm not someone who knows what looks good on me, but Irene came over and started pulling glasses off the racks and helping me sort out what I did and didn't like. She then got the other salesclerk, Robert, involved as well, making sure that he double-checked the right placement of my bifocal line since she's relatively new on the job. I'm very pleased with my final choice. For Eyes isn't as cheap as it used to be (and, of course, as I've gotten older my eyeglasses have gotten more complicated), but it's still cheaper than most of the competition, with great selection and good service. I used to go to this location for years and after most recent visit I will never be back. Just walking into the store there was an employee with a name tag on smoking. Now I'm a smoker, but it's highly unprofessional to be chilling by the entry way of your workplace smoking (and illegal) I went to look at glasses the woman "helping"me first started showing me high end designer pairs that were way too much. I explained the style I wanted she brought to a section with a few pairs that looked okay and told me they were unisex. Which they weren't. Randy Jackson is a MEN'S line! Then while taking about pricing this woman told me that I could only have $300 lenses. My prescription is -4.25. I visited other stores prior to my stop there. No one had quoted me that high for my lenses. When I told her this she rolled her eyes at me! She told me how awful I was going to look if I didn't get the lenses she was recommending to me. I ended up getting 3 pairs from Costco. Their staff is awesome and for 3 pairs with the higher script I only paid $400 total. And I got an awesome pair of Fendis. read more

I was at this location for over 50 minutes but did not get an eye exam or glasses. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and then watched as 2 walk ins were taken back to see the doctor at my scheduled time. I looked at the glasses for a while but left after being ignored by the 3 employees who didn't offer any assistance with the glasses or any apologies for the delay. read more

I Will like to start by saying the as a consumer and as a person been call a liar ( specially in front of your kids)is not appreciate nor take lightly and that's why the long review. I purchased prescription glasses at this location about a year and a half ago and the glasses broke around 7 months later so under the one year warranty they were replaced and I was told by the employee that with this new glasses I had a one year warranty starting the day I picked them up, well this new glasses broke the same as the first ones so I came to the store and I was told that the warranty is for one year no matter what so I tried to explain them what I was told before and I was referred to the store manager Beth who very politely told me: no one here told you that you have a year warranty on the second glasses! We don't trained them like that and I have worked here for the las 3 years! So according to Beth's common sense the customer is wrong and a liar just because you train your employees not to make a mistake ever?? Well if you want to run a place like this you should star by training the manager (Beth) on how to treat your customers who are the ones making the business to succeed and consequently provide you with a job! Bottom line good customer service is what makes a business successful and your lack of it can and will make a harmful impact on this location! I have been a loyal customer of this place for over 12 years but thanks to you Beth i will consider an other for ayes !
