The eye exam was 2 months ago. I have been trying to get the contact lenses ever since. 2 months! I called back for updates on my order. No one ever knew anything to tell me and wouldn't reach back out to me, even when I requested call backs. I even revisited the store in-person. I've also spoken to the manager. Nothing! She said she was familiar with the situation and had planned to reach out to me, but didn't. What?! She said she was busy working at multiple stores. It's crazy for this to be this difficult. I am pretty much begging for service over this 2 month period. Calling and calling. Today, after the umpteenth call, I had to listen to yet another long explanation for why they haven't ordered my contacts and details about the system not doing this or that. I.DO.NOT.CARE. I just want someone to assume responsibility for my contact order and RESOLVE the issue. That can't possibly be too much to ask of an eye glass store. This is beyond poor customer service. I finally got close to receiving help today during a 50 minute phone call, but not yet. I am still holding on as I type this review. I can't recommend this company to anyone. We came here looking for frames for my bf. The sales person was really friendly and helpful. We found a pair that we wanted to see in a different color that could only be ordered. Unfortunately we'd have to place an order, pay, etc. and weren't ready to make that commitment. He suggested heading to LensCrafters (2 mins away) as they are owned by the same company and might have them in stock in store. He also said that their eye exam machine was broken and we would have to wait until March for an appointment. read more

Dina was very friendly and patient as we took our time in selecting a pair each. After selecting, Dina was kind enough to hold them for us to come back the next day to place our order. It was late and they were closing soon. Since we lived nearby, we didn't mind coming back to complete our purchase. On arrival the next day, Dina was warm and welcoming with a smile. Terrible service--try to go to the For Eyes Duluth location if you can! Staff is extremely slow and unresponsive. I came in today to pick up an order of contacts that I had spoken to them on the phone earlier about (so I knew they had them). I was rushing to catch a flight but when I got there they made me wait 15 minutes even though all they needed to do was open a drawer and hand me my contacts (they didn't even check my receipt!) Unfriendly staff gave me an attitude when I politely asked them to speed things up. Things like this have happened consistently to us in the past such that even though we live close to this location we go out of our way to go to the location in Duluth now. read more

I've been using For Eyes since my first pair of progressive lenses in the early '90s. I've been coming to the Tucker store in particular, for exams and glasses, since 2004. I have always had very good to excellent service on both sides (exam and products). A couple of times I had to have an adjustment to a new pair of glasses that involved sending the glasses back to the lab. But the staff handled this with no fuss. And the prices simply cannot be beat. My most recent visit was with Dr. D(avid). I have never in my life had an eye doc spend so much time with me, patiently getting my prescription just right... for me. Wow. Very impressed. The new glasses are awesome. Original eye exam was back in June of 2017. I was referred to For Eyes because of company insurance plan. I did not know most of the staff went to the *other* For Eyes location in Peachtree Battle. 1). The Tucker location (LaVista road) is filthy. They do not clean the equipment between customers including the eye exam equipment. Bring your own antibacterial wipes. 2). Staff is unfriendly and rude. No one is helpful. What happened last which made my decision to NEVER go to For Eyes again? I called on Sunday to make sure they had my prescription for Warby Parker. I was told by the manager that my prescription folder was "pulled aside" and there may be an issue with my prescription. (I have been wearing my glasses now for nine months, purchased through For Eyes.) I said this was concerning but the "manager" could not give me any information because he was not the "eye doctor". I was called by staff on the Monday. No problems with prescription. I asked about it and was told, "I am not the eye doctor." I asked them for FOUR days to fax the prescription to Warby Parker. I went by and was told it was faxed but then found out Warby Parker still had not received it. I asked, "Do you keep a copy of the confirmations when you fax things?" I was told no. I mentioned they might want to do that moving forward. Seriously. I got rude looks, rolled eyes and no apologies. NOTHING to correct my situation. I asked for a copy so I could send to Warby Parker myself. The copy was not readable. I was told "we only keep the carbon for eye exams". Carbon copy, copy? I took a picture of the original carbon copy with my iPhone which I printed and could read to send to Warby Parker. Which I sent MYSELF today after two trips to the For Eyes store. I highly recommend you DO NOT waste your time with this location. Peachtree Battle is the complete opposite with clean equipment and polite staff. I was told the District Manager "might call me" but she was "busy" with a sales meeting. OMG. RUN SCREAMING. Advice to management. Basic customer service without rudeness goes a long way. I am only giving them one star because zero isn't an option. The customer service here is absolutely the worst!!! They were rude and disorganized. We showed up for our 10am appointment and waited 35 minutes until the technician showed up late. Then we were looking for frames, my daughter wears a large size and is used to getting unisex/men's frames, the answer was just no, we don't carry frames that big. ALL other places have at least one option or are willing to help find something that works. Another lady who was friendly with the associate working had four people admiring her try on frames so they couldn't be bothered with anyone else. This is the worst experience I have ever had in any type of doctors office and I will make sure to let everyone I know not to use ForEyes. Terrible experience. It took two months after my appointment to get trial contact lenses. I had to call and visit the store at least five times to find out what was taking so long. One visit they couldn't find my file! When I finally got my trial lenses, the prescription was radically different from my current prescription. I finally just had to beg them to have a doctor write a prescription based on my current lenses. If I didn't reach out and show up constantly, I would have just never heard from them at all. I'm always really happy with the service and pricing here. Thus far, I will not get my glasses or contacts anywhere else since discovering For Eyes... I just have not found a better value. I go for the 2 for $99 glasses when they are available (I've never seen them NOT available) and I love that I don't have to pay a ridiculous price for frames and lenses. One word GHETTO. Dr. Washington/ Dr. Densberg cancelled my appointment twice in a row because a "family emergency". The receptionists were rude and did provide any explanation when I showed up. I called customer service, then got a call back from Christie, the manager. She offered me a 50% discount on eyewear but when I went to redeem my offer I found out Christie had quit. Smh. Now I just go to the Sandy Springs location because I can't deal with the foolery that goes on at the Lavista location. read more

The staff at the Tucker location are awesome. However the selection of frames is not at the same level as the Duluth location. This store just received the same Stella McCarthy frames I bought at the Duluth Store last year. The selection of Coach frames are outdated as well. I have Kaiser insurance which referred me to this location. Kaiser confirmed I do not have a co-pay as I have met my out of pocket. Called this location For Eyes today and spoke with Steve who told me they charge a co-pay for everything no matter what Kaiser says. So basically they want to be paid 100% by Kaiser and then still collect additional from me. Not happening I'll wait the extra month to get Kaiser direct appt. Totally unprofessional staff. They called to to tell me my on-line appointment was cancelled because the on-line system overbooked for my time slot. The next available appointment was 3 days latter .... I accepted that appointment. I show up for the appointment and they tell me they have no record of my appointment. I ordered glasses and contacts from them and after a week we called them and after being on the phone with them forever they said they would call me back but they never did. After another week I called them and I find out that the order still had not been out in yet. I finally show up and they hardly acknowledge me. Moreover when I showed up during business hours their doors were locked and I had to ask and wait for them to unlock and let me in. Customer service is about helping people ... I am a fan of this business overall. I have received great service for eye exams, glasses purchases, and glasses fittings. However: I bought a pair of expensive prescription sunglasses there over two months ago, in October. I was told at that time that they didn't have a sunglasses case specific to the brand I bought and that they would order it and get it to me as soon as possible. Well, I have called approximately every other week for two months to check in and they have yet to get in the sunglass case. It is now almost January. I know that a sunglasses case doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you pay over $200 for prescription sunglasses that you need to see when driving in the car on a sunny day, you want to get what you paid for and protect your sunglasses. Update - I just called them again and the sunglasses case is in. I am so glad to hear that, but disappointed that I received no phone call to let me know. read more

I have been taking my son to For Eyes on Lavista Rd. for several years. They are always pleasant and friendly as well as knowledgable. Recently, my husband needed semi-emergent eye treatment as he had scratched his eye somehow. Dr. Wyatt was able to see him and he liked her so much that he decided to do his routine eye exam/contact fitting with her. They do not accept his vision insurance but he liked her so much that he was willing to pay the cost so we could stay with her. The pricing on the visits are very reasonable and that goes for contacts as well. We paid 98.00 for a 4 month supply of lenses. I recommend For Eyes to all of my friends. read more

I went in to get my son's prescription filled because they were recommended as one of the few places that takes Kaiser. When I walk in, there are three women working the desk. One is standing there doing nothing but distracting the woman trying to fill the prescription by talking to her about random things. Neither one of them knew what to do on the computer, whether my son had to be there for them to fill the prescription, etc; they kept having to ask the third lady, who seemed like maybe she was a manager. She told me it would take 7-10 business days to get the prescription in (seemed like a very long time - usually it only takes about 2 days). After about 15 minutes, I finally paid and went to leave. I asked them for my son's glasses back and she said "oh, we have to send them off". I said "what is he supposed to wear for 10 days? He can't see without his glasses on" (most people can't). She said because they didn't carry those frames they had to send them off - something she could have mentioned to me 20 minutes earlier when I first handed her the glasses. So, after 20 minutes of wasting my time, her only response was "well I can void the payment". So I had to wait another 5 minutes while they refunded my money. No apologies. No explanation. No attempt at making it right. I just put my stuff in my purse and walked out. They were unprofessional, rude, and didn't care one way or another whether they were doing their job or helping people. read more
