I hired Jose and is team to do a fairly extensive landscape design job on my parent's house in Pasadena as their 50th Anniversary gift. He worked with my budget and was very easy to communicate with and did a remarkable job in a short period of time. Best of all, he understood that my folks are pretty conservative and set in their ways and would not have been happy with any kind of drastic change to their outdoor space. Moved into a condo and the patio was looking bare and depressing. Found Joe on Yelp. He was responsive to messages, gave me a quick consult over the phone. We were able to work around this crazy stay at home situation by taking videos and measuring things out myself. Price was right, Joe worked with my budget. Worked with me on picking out plants, pots, materials. Gave me lots of input on care and maintenance. A few weeks later it was a done deal. Jose and his team were amazing! They were able to turn our front yard into a xeriscape dream! We knew exactly what we were going to get in our front because of the plans that he provided complete with plant placement and types of plants he wanted to use. I loved this part of the process because we were able to decide which plants we liked and plant we didn't like and Jose made recommendations based off our taste and style. The best part was that Jose still checks on us from time to time to make sure we are still happy and that the plants are still happy. We were new to landscaping and new to maintaining the landscape, so it was nice to know that we had someone who was a text or email away to have questions answered. We haven't fully used his services yet, but my wife and I contacted Joe because we had a rupture in our drip irrigation and also wanted to get his perspective on possibly redoing our entire parkway. He quickly responded and, as luck would have it, lives not too far away from us and was able to show up with very short notice. We discussed our high-level vision and he gave us some very helpful insights. Joe's responsiveness has been very impressive: shortly after he came by, he sent us multiple photos of his projects and ideas. He had even offered to fix the irrigation rupture for free, and he showed up only a day or two afterwards to get the job done! My wife and I have been dragging our feet in terms of making a decision, but once we do, we'll get back in touch with Joe right away.
