There's a small waiting area with two chairs as you enter, followed by the front desk where you'll complete your intake chart and select any details or add-ons you may want. I saw Debbie for my treatment - she was so kind, with a soft touch but also enough pressure during my wash, massage, and hair care. Things I really loved about this spot: the design inside is gorgeous, clean, and calming - think Japandi style, with clean walls, wood paneling, natural elements, faux plants and trees, and neutrals throughout, it has a calming environment, they offer hands free hair drying but allow you to style your hair after if you choose and how the wash rooms and private and comfy. Though we booked the basic wash, it was so relaxing that I dozed off, and felt deeply cleaned and refreshed afterward. When you head back to the styling chairs, they offer hold or cold tea and snacks while getting you set up for a hands-free drying experience - which was amazing!!! She brushed my hair while it dried under the machine. They also offer hair styling tools if you want to style your hair yourself - brushes, round brushes, Shark styling tools, irons, etc. Some of the brands they use for hair care products are Yanagiya and Milbon. You are in your own private room. They double (or even triple) wash your scalp/hair. The products they put on my scalp was soothing. I was with Angela for this appointment and her massage was PERFECTION. I requested deep, firm pressure and she completely delivered. I was 100% satisfied. I LOVEEEE A GOOOD HEAD MASSAGE. Angela also provided a quick shoulder massage too. After, you're taken back out to the front to the general public area to get your hair dried. You are given a small cup of hot tea & a small package of crackers. I thought that was a nice finishing touch as you're getting your hair blow dried. My scalp felt so refreshed and clean. From the beginning, the therapist who started my treatment made me feel as though she did not really want to treat me. She applied castor oil, wrapped me, and took me to the sauna. When I came out, I was surprised to find that my personal belongings had been moved to another room without anyone explaining this to me. A different lady then finished my treatment. She was very nice and polite, but the massage did not feel like a lymphatic massage at all. It felt more like very light caressing, and I did not receive the type of treatment I had expected or paid for. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was that the original therapist stayed with another client in the first room, and I could hear their conversation during my treatment, which made it very difficult to relax. When I asked why I had been moved, I was told that moving to the other room was simply "the second part" of the massage. Unfortunately, that explanation did not make sense to me considering that the other client remained in the same room for her treatment. I left feeling neglected and disappointed. I understand that treatments can sometimes involve different staff members or rooms, but this should be communicated clearly to the client beforehand, and the quality of the treatment should remain consistent. For the price I paid, I expected a professional, relaxing lymphatic massage and attentive service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
