Always loved going on the train growing up so this was an opportunity to bring my own kids now to do it. It's $5 for adults and $4 for kids over one. Its also CASH only. The 40min ride takes you around trinity park and along the river. The train itself could use some updating as the seats look like they are falling apart.

This is so fun to take kiddos to. It's about 45 minutes long which is great. First train runs at 11am and then every hour after that last train runs at 5pm. Cash only!!!!! You can board the train at the zoo location or at the park location but you can only purchase tickets at zoo location. Ages 1-12 is $3.50 adults $4.

Waiting for the train to arrive!

My son enjoyed the train ride. They are nice enough to stop for someone that is walking in the park. We had a blast. Fun little train

Like the idea... Not a lot to see. But the train was neat... And the heat was not. :) Bring your own cold drink and sunscreen.

Fantastic Family Fun -- and Beware of the Claw Machines!…read more For our grandson's 9th birthday, we decided to venture to Cidercade Fort Worth, and what a fantastic choice! Admission was $12 per person, and nearly all the arcade games are included with admission. Play as much as you want! We easily spent 3-4 hours here, and everyone had a great time. With the Texas temperatures blazing outside, an air-conditioned arcade was also a pretty darn good place to spend the afternoon! There is a huge selection of games with plenty for both kids and adults. Basketball, racing, classic arcade games--you can wander around for hours. Then my son-in-law discovered the claw machines. Once he started, it snowballed into stuffed toy after stuffed toy. By the time he was finished, we had enough stuffed animals spread across the table to open our own toy store! Be warned, though: the claw machines are NOT included with admission and you pay separately to play. Apparently nobody bothered explaining that to my son-in-law before he went into full claw-machine domination mode! We also ordered pizza, and it was very good. It's a thin-crust style, loaded with toppings and made for a perfect break between games. Of course, with a name like Cidercade, we had to sample the cider! There were plenty of choices, and the ones we tried were very good. For $12 admission and several hours of entertainment, I think Cidercade is an outstanding value. More importantly, our grandson had a fantastic birthday outing and the entire family enjoyed themselves. Great games, good pizza, plenty of cider and a table full of stuffed animals we somehow had to get home. That's a successful birthday! Definitely a 5-star experience for us!

4 Stars? Let me tell you why…read more Cidercade Fort Worth is one of those places that is just a lot of fun. The atmosphere is unique, and the combination of old school arcade games with a mix of newer games makes it easy to lose a couple of hours here. There is a really good variety, so whether you are into classic arcade nostalgia or something newer, there is plenty to keep you entertained. The food was another pleasant surprise. Everything we tried was really tasty, and considering the affordable pricing overall, it makes for a pretty budget friendly outing. The Fort Worth location is also convenient, which makes it an easy spot to add to a day or evening out. My biggest complaint is that it can get pretty crowded, especially during busier times, which takes away from the experience a little when you are trying to play some of the more popular games. Also, if you are visiting during the Texas summer, be prepared for it to get hot inside. With all the people, games, and activity, the temperature can definitely become noticeable. Overall, though, I would absolutely come back. Great atmosphere, tons of games, good food, and an affordable price point make this a solid Fort Worth outing.

2026 - Review #14…read more Booked a field trip here and my students had a blast. I worked with Kimmet to organize the whole thing and she was kind and attentive during the entire process. She answered all my questions and made the booking process seem less. Minus 1 star for our ticket mix up. We booked the all access package and by the time it was sorted out the All Access attraction (Tree Top) had a long line and wait. Also minus 1 star for the staff help, there was one lady at the front with red hair who seemed to have an attitude every time I came to ask a question. With 90 students and over 20 adults quite a bit of questions arose and some things were unclear. It would be helpful to assign a staff member to each field trip group to limit having to speak to multiple staff. Lastly, be mindful of the tunnels. They are fun however, we had middle school students present during our visit and they were making out in the tunnels. Better lighting could help fix this with a reminder to chaperones and parents to keep an eye on their children. Highlights - Massage Chairs - Plenty of space for student to run and explore - Activities for everyone - Snacks Bar

He ran into a concrete wall at full speed and almost hurt himself because it was so dark. He also got injured while in the plane and his friend also got injured on the slide. I have included a picture. There was also a man who made him extremely uncomfortable who works there and who was wearing black lipstick. Tattoos everywhere and just not professional. Additionally, my son and his two friends went to get snacks and one of the items his friend was buying was .12 cents short. The worker gave him no grace and wouldn't let him have it. I mean, I get it was a little short, but seriously? He was buying it for his friend who needed a drink too. You guys lost an opportunity as a business to go above and beyond -- especially for an eleven year old! My son had a fun time, but I'm not sure if I'd take him back. I think his friends made the experience TBH. Y'all need to hire better and fix those safety issues. Someone will sue. UPDATE: They went through the motions of responding publicly, but once contacted through email completely stonewalled me and never responded. Will never give them another dime and neither should you.
