Elegant and understated like many of the buildings…read morealong Magnolia, the Marquis fits right in and creates the perfect atmosphere for a one-of-a-kind party. This isn't an enormous venue; but you can comfortably fit 250 guests. There's a gorgeous spiral staircase that leads to the main level, as well as a glass elevator. Super-tall ceilings, a spacious wooden floor, and giant windows make for a wide-open, ethereal ambiance. It's pretty majestic. The Marquis offers different wedding reception packages (including dinner, wedding cake and cake cutting, linens and glassware, centerpieces, an event coordinator, wait staff, and security) from anywhere between $17 and $54 per guest. You can also have an outdoor party, ceremony, or reception outside (for 50 guests max). I didn't get a look at their outdoor space, but based on the inside, I'm sure it's wonderful. I attended a wedding ceremony and reception here a few weeks ago, and it was pretty awesome for the wedding party and bride to come up that beautiful spiral staircase, emerging into the center of the room before they walked down the "aisle." Very unique and dramatic. After the ceremony, guests went downstairs for hors d'oeuvres and wine while the staff rearranged the upstairs from ceremony seating to reception tables, chairs, and a dance floor. It was a beautiful wedding and the Marquis on Magnolia really made it extra-exceptional.

3.5 Stars = 4 Stars location / 3 Stars food…read more The layout of this venue is great for small to medium groups. The ballroom is on the 2nd floor, but there is also a glass enclosed elevator. It's a U shaped space that allows for food service on 1 side long side, seated dining on the opposite side with dais & dancing at the short connecting end. Soaring ceilings adds to the majestic and formal ambiance of the historic location. The curving central stairway makes for a unique grand view of the wedding party making their appearance by ASCENDING into the party space rather than a more typical descend; it made for great photos! I attended a wedding at this venue, so I'm guessing that they cater as well. The appetizer buffet was well presented and the offerings were prepared to the best expected. I don't think it fair to review the main meal since the wedding party had an extended photo session; therefore the food was served after a long time in warming mode. But, if you're planning a wedding or special event I would definitely encourage a consideration based on just the location, especially if you live in Fort Worth.

I stood around the front desk area (FYI-stood right next to a sign saying see us about a tour). As I waited, I saw the same lady pass right by me a few times, eventually thinking she must work there. The 3rd time she passed by me, literally a few feet away, I noticed she had on a WEWORK shirt and I asked her if she worked there. She pretended not to hear me, and kept walking away, again, this was the 3rd time this WEWORK employee passed by me. I kind of followed her and said, "mam, do you work here?" She reluctantly stopped, turned around and said she did work there and she seemed incredibly irritated that I had even bothered talking to her. MAJOR attitude. I told her was there in inquire about availability, and by this time she was approaching a locked door going inside the offices. She then said she was about to go to lunch, and I would have to come by another day. She let the door close and kept walking away. I was blown away by her dismissive, arrogant, non caring attitude. If she worked for me, I would fire her immediately on the spot. When you hire these kind of woke, seemingly entitled people with this kind of negativity, horrible work ethic and completely non existent business acumen, word gets out. SEEMS LIKE OTHER REVIEWS ARE VERY SIMILAR TO MY EXPERIENCE. I went to another NON wework office space, completely the opposite there, and the person I talked to was helpful, generous and seemed like she actually liked her job. ATTENTION WEWORK CLEARFORK........fire they young hag you have representing your facility at this location. Hiring lazy woke employees to represent your facility cant be a good idea.

It was one day after the Japanese Garden exhibit so there weren't a lot of people around, but the gardens were well maintained. The shuttle buses are helpful in getting to the far away parts of the garden. Our favorite part was the visit to the butterfly exhibit. They were releasing new butterflies and the staff was great with sharing information about the various species. I've been to other butterfly exhibit, and this was the most active population of various butterflies... Al displayed beautiful creativity of our amazing God! Would be better to have a bus stop at or near the gardens. Would have liked to see more flowers there... The rose beds were likely better a couple weeks before our arrival.

It is at the corner of an entire upscale shopping plaza and the prices reflected that. The atmosphere was very lively and chic. The Cowboys were playing and there were several televisions to watch the game. Although they took reservations and the place was packed, the hostess was able to seat us where we had great seats to view the game. The wait staff were attentive and very friendly. The drinks and queso were okay but I was rather disappointed in the cheese curds. They were appealing but did not have that crunch or flavor. The flatbread for the win. It was flavorful and filling. The menu was very appealing and if I'm in the area I would come back and try something else.

The Mac-n-cheese was made with weird giant spiraled noodles...newsflash, Mac-n-cheese doesn't need fixing. The smoked fried chicken was two thin breaded patties that were extremely dry....Meh! The smash burger tacos were the best of the 3 entrees we ordered. Pretty full and hardy. We also had queso for an appetizer. It was pretty good with very good thick, chips that were good for dipping. Dinner for three with tip $85. It just wasn't very good. Def won't go back by choice. Also, half of the booths have chairs that are higher than the booth benches, so everyone sets uneven across from each other. Weird.
