My 6'1" husband's legs barely fit in the train and my butt was numb by the end, but it was a small price to pay for the joy of the ride. My kids thought it was the most fun thing they'd done in a while, and we do lots of fun things. Whether or not you consider this to be an expensive activity probably depends on how many kids you have. I read a few reviews that thought this was cheap fun, but we paid $37 for our family of 7. Ouch! FYI the current prices (as of Feb 2020 anyway) are $5 per kid and $6 per adults. CASH ONLY. FYI: I think there used to be two pick up stations but the day we went the train was only picking up from the zoo station. The train left every hour on the hour, with the last departure at 4pm. The train was definitely full to capacity, so I would advise arriving 15 min before departure so you can be there when the previous train arrives and snag your seats together.

They can close up if it gets too hot (100 degrees or more, or super cold/bad weather) you can call of you are unsure. Their website also provides the times/days they are open, seems to change every season. Even on hot days when the train is moving you usually get a nice breeze, you go over bridges and can count turtles in the eater, under bridges, through parks and wave at the people and bicyclists. It stops about halfway through and you can grab a drink, snacks or ice cream, they only stop for about 5 minutes though. DO NOT hold up the train, a lady was halfway in a train car waiting for the rest of her family and got yelled at in front of everyone by the conductor. They have a schedule to keep, be considerate!

The night I went, not all the rides were opened, I don't know if that's because it was a grown party or if they didn't have enough lifeguards. Regardless though, I had a great time, I hang out with my friends for about 2 hours. There was one point, where there was a big group between the wave runner and the lazy river that were having a dance party and doing line dances. The kids got to do bumper cars, the battle area (like laser tag but with foam balls), the slides, the ball pit, the jumping area, and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting. All in all the spot is clean, staffed well and a fun kids entertainment spot. We didn't do the zip lining or ropes courses but we didn't feel like we missed out on anything either.

Parking was easy (around $6) and all of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly! The park is pretty small, but easy to navigate and pretty clean. There's about 5 rides, a playground, and a splash zone. We did all the rides and some time in the playground, which took around 2ish hours. They also do free shows with Peppa that were fun and covered from the heat! I took one star off due to the price. The ticket was expensive ($30ish) for such a small park and the food/drinks were expensive too. Luckily, you can bring your own food and drinks, which is what we did!

Admission was $12 per person, and nearly all the arcade games are included with admission. Play as much as you want! We easily spent 3-4 hours here, and everyone had a great time. With the Texas temperatures blazing outside, an air-conditioned arcade was also a pretty darn good place to spend the afternoon! There is a huge selection of games with plenty for both kids and adults. Basketball, racing, classic arcade games--you can wander around for hours. Then my son-in-law discovered the claw machines. Once he started, it snowballed into stuffed toy after stuffed toy. By the time he was finished, we had enough stuffed animals spread across the table to open our own toy store! Be warned, though: the claw machines are NOT included with admission and you pay separately to play. Apparently nobody bothered explaining that to my son-in-law before he went into full claw-machine domination mode! We also ordered pizza, and it was very good. It's a thin-crust style, loaded with toppings and made for a perfect break between games. Of course, with a name like Cidercade, we had to sample the cider! There were plenty of choices, and the ones we tried were very good. For $12 admission and several hours of entertainment, I think Cidercade is an outstanding value. More importantly, our grandson had a fantastic birthday outing and the entire family enjoyed themselves. Great games, good pizza, plenty of cider and a table full of stuffed animals we somehow had to get home. That's a successful birthday! Definitely a 5-star experience for us!

The atmosphere is unique, and the combination of old school arcade games with a mix of newer games makes it easy to lose a couple of hours here. There is a really good variety, so whether you are into classic arcade nostalgia or something newer, there is plenty to keep you entertained. The food was another pleasant surprise. Everything we tried was really tasty, and considering the affordable pricing overall, it makes for a pretty budget friendly outing. The Fort Worth location is also convenient, which makes it an easy spot to add to a day or evening out. My biggest complaint is that it can get pretty crowded, especially during busier times, which takes away from the experience a little when you are trying to play some of the more popular games. Also, if you are visiting during the Texas summer, be prepared for it to get hot inside. With all the people, games, and activity, the temperature can definitely become noticeable. Overall, though, I would absolutely come back. Great atmosphere, tons of games, good food, and an affordable price point make this a solid Fort Worth outing.

The goal is to find each letter and punch the yellow ticket (M-A-Z-E). I am so glad that we all did it because I would still be stuck there. I failed to read the instructions when I started so you're supposed to punch your yellow card when you start and punch it again when you leave the maze. I did not keep track of it, but we did find all of the letters and there were a few that I had a hard time finding which were the ones that were up the stairs so you can see the whole maze from above. There is an observation deck that is free next to the maze. A few of the parents were telling their children how to go in the maze from up there. So you can watch the kiddos complete the maze. It is a neat challenge and something fun to do with children.
