I wish that I had read other reviews about Forest River Medford before we purchased our Coleman Trailer in March. Originally we were set to buy a 'Apex' trailer but we took one day late to finish the purchase and they sold it to another buyer. We began a second search for a trailer and decided on a small Coleman on closeout. We bought our Coleman (new - 2023 Closeout) to take to Texas for the Solar Eclipse. I don't believe that Forest River ever did an inspection of the trailer. We came back home with over 28 issues that needed repairs before we could use it again. The bathroom fan broke, the bed frame was broken, the mattress was torn, the magnets failed to keep drawers closed, The A/C kept tripping the circuit breaker, etc. THREE MONTHS later it was finally repaired, or so they claimed. The 3 months effectively took 1/4 of our 'Good Sam' year membership away. Also a 'Passport America' was cut by 1/4 as well. We took it for our 2nd trip to the coast for a long weekend and discovered that our refrigerator no longer worked. We returned the trailer, without an appointment, to service, and that was August 27th, 2024. It took Ewan, the service manager, until Wednesday, the 18th of September to call back to say that the 'compressor' needed replacement.... That was THREE weeks and THREE days that they did NOTHING before finally analysis of the problem. And, now, I have to see just how much longer they will have the trailer there awaiting the warranty repairs. Ewan, very polite, ought to be a politician. He's very good at schmoozing and keeping me from blowing my stack at the lack of service they actually provide there. To be fair, other RV enthusiasts have told us that MOST brands of trailers have issues with shoddy work in building them. But that is NOT an excuse for the absolute terrible slow work they do to repair on 'warranty'. A selling point was telling us that ANY 'Camping World' or Forest River could be used on the road to help us with repairs, and dump our 'black water' when boon docking. But we tried that in Denver, and in Bend and got no satisfaction from either of them because they were all 'booked up' and we would have to leave the trailer for them to fix simple things we needed done. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish that I had researched Forest River before making our purchase. We are now seriously considering a report to the 'Better Business Bureau' as my patience is now completely used up. We are so disappointed in this company. Excellent sales and Service I purchased a 23 Coachman Apex Nano 208BHS in April 24 and haven't had any issues so far. Everyone was great and knowlegeble about their products. I had the solar power upgraded by adding 2 more panels and a 3000 watt inverter. They also installed my 4 Lipo batteries. A special shout out to Thomas in service for helping me understand how my higher capacity solar power system works. Now flash forward to Dec. 16 24. I'd lost my keys and after searching to no avail, I called and got Thomas on the phone. He helped me figure out what keys to order and saved my day. Thanks to FW by CW for a great deal, great service and continued hep and service. PS, besides camping in Oregon, I towed my camper from Oregon to Ky camping along the way and everything works as expected and no issues. read more

He was very courteous and helpful right away, found an appointment for me. We drove for four hours to choose my new home! So excited to not pay rent and call something my own! We get there and it's like 104 degrees out, and we're looking at trailer after trailer. And finally I chose one, a 2021 Sandpiper Flok 374(??) We get it home and it's been one thing after another. All the sinks leak to the point it cam they the piece of poster board they call walls! I wiped off the water on the side of the kitchen island, and ALL THE TOP OF THE POSTER BOARD CAME WITH IT. We paid 85K for it. It's a mass produced 5th wheel, and I am terrified I'm going to be dealing with this one thing after another. There are many other issues, MANY. When I call I get sent to the manufacturer, and the manufacturer tells me it's GANDER RV's mistake, back and forth. I will not stop. I also paid $5,000. For a ONE YEAR ALL INCLUSIVE WARRANTY. we bought a new Rv from here, had the back door freeze up and would not open or close. we never used the back sliding door ever. We were told it was customer damage and they would not fix. We paid for the extended warranty when we purchased and was told we would have to wait a year after purchase before they could look at that option, then told it would only cover "nuts and bolt" I highly recommend not purchasing a Rv here. very shady business. read more

We came in to look at the trailer we wanted took pictures mind you it was late in the day and was told to return another day in order for the trailer to be properly detailed and inspected. The day of delivery I mentioned the trailer is not the same one we looked at our sales man ensured me this was the trailer. At delivery walk through the sales man insisted this is the trailer I show him pictures he's ignores me. This place is a joke they will lie to your face to get you off the lot and signed. The trailer was missing several pieces and you can obviously see memory foam med was opened how can you see this was never used. We arrive home our neighbor opens the side kitchen and was like oh boy this is definitely a used trailer look at the griddle it shouldn't look this way you have been okie DOKED! This place is a prime example of a place with horrible ethics and scummy practices. It would be in our best interest at this point to get with BBB to prove this place sold us this unit they knew left the lot and maliciously lied to get the sale. read more

When we couldn't cash the deposit check my wife mentioned going to the authorities the smart ass sales mgr bragged about them being one of the biggest corp. in the world so go ahead. I purchased a New travel trailer from Luke Doggett at Gander Rv over a year and half ago and that guy is great!! He has gone and above and beyond as a salesman man answering his phone with any question I had a year after the fact. HORRIBLE service department. I'm BLOWN away that this place is still in business. We bought a BRAND NEW Grey Wolf Limited in 2023 and stored it undercover. We had a day of rain blowing sideways with high wind. The trailer ended up with a leak coming from somewhere and it was pouring out of the bottom of our cabinets directly under the sink & near the refrigerator. Our trailer was winterized at this time, no water in the lines, therefore the leak did not originate from inside the trailer. There was significant water damage to the cabinets. We drove 3 hours back to them to have it repaired. The service department did not want to listen to our explanation & opened a warranty claim to repair the damage. We called NUMEROUS times to try to figure out what was going on & push to have the issue fixed rather than just fixing damage so that it could happen again. The service department would dodge our phone calls and we would get told they couldn't talk to us at times. All of this time the correspondence was with my husband's phone number. Fast forward to about 3 weeks later they decided to call my phone number instead of my husband's to try to avoid being held accountable. At this time I was told our trailer was completely repaired with brand new materials, YET the leak was not found/fixed. We had asked them pull the underbelly etc to look for water, they said they don't do that. Then the service guy dared to tell me they were going to start charging us a storage fee. So, my husband called back demanding the search for the leak and to test the side walls with water not just the top. LUCKY me, 2 days later they called my number (avoiding my husband again) to say they found the leak and wouldn't let me get a word in, continued to tell me it was going to be a brief call and that my trailer would be ready to be picked up by the weekend. We just got our trailer back and the repairs are a COMPLETE JOKE. I was in tears!!!! They did NOT use brand-new materials the trim has wrinkles all over it. The trim board placed on the ground to be butted up with the cabinet is too short and sticks out & is bowed....SO TACKY that I wouldn't have purchased a trailer had it originally looked like this. The piece repaired by the refrigerator doesn't even line up and bare wood is showing. The counter doesn't even butt up to it anymore. To say I'm upset is an understatement. I'm now in the process of finding another shop to help pick up the pieces from this shitty service that we received. I will NEVER return to this place again. read more

If I could give minus 10 stars I would. Purchased a used RV from here and have had nothing but trouble. After buying it we noticed the refrigerator didn't work so they kept it for 3 weeks and "fixed" the refrigerator however it has never been fixed. It still does not work We have called and complained and they say they will get back to us but they never do. They told us that they had flushed all of the tanks also not true they were filled with white hard stinking chunks that we had to buy all kinds of chemicals to break up and it took weeks to get rid of that smell. The septic tank was filled with whoever previously owned its toilet paper and feces the water lines were all clogged with that disgusting white stuff and there is no water that goes to the toilet I have to pot it over from the sink. Also the roof leaks like a sive. We had a rain storm last week I came home from work to find my bed soaking wet. When we purchased this we told them I was going to be living in it as I had lost my home to wildfire and that it needed to be liveable with everything working which is not at all the case. So here I sit with all of these problems that they refuse to address, they tell us they will speak to their supervisor and get back to us and never do. So we finally got a hold of the supervisor who was going to talk to his supervisor and get back to us. Which he never did So now I'm going on 3 months with no refrigerator no water pressure because of the gunk that's still tripped in the lines no water to my toilet a leaking roof and living with other people's odors. To say I'm disappointed is an extreme understatement. In fact I am considering taking legal action. Do not buy a used RV from these people they do not follow the laws and clean the tanks or do anything they say they will read more

Trust the bad reviews, they have been written for good reason! Zero would be the appropriate rating for this business. Normally don't posted reviews until an experience is so blatantly egregious that there is a responsibility to caution others. Unfortunately, our experience at RV.com (aka Gander RV) on HWY 99 in Medford warrants this caution. We ignored the bad reviews because we were required to have warranty repairs perform by an approved service center...ugh! Took our RV in for a handful of warranty repairs. After 9 weeks - one item on the list was repaired, while another was made worse. Won't go into list of grievances with RV.com - the list is too long. However, most notably was how incredibly horrible the Service Department operates. It required persistent time-consuming phone calls, emails, and visits to RV.com, from the customer, just to keep the service process from completely stalling. Still, that was not enough. This appears largely to be the result of Thomas Curphey, Service Writer, who unprofessionally complains more about his personal issues than effectively preforming his job. The flagrant pleasantries don't substitute for ethical behavior or professional conduct, and something is seriously lacking when senior management is either clueless, indifferent or condones this behavior from employees. Over the months, the excuses and blatant lies became so repetitious and ridiculous that we had enough, and we were done. After 9 weeks, we picked up our unrepaired RV and are taking it to a business who has an ethical staff. If you have all the time in the world and don't care how long your RV sits in their storage yard, or even if it's repaired, then this is your place. But DO NOT patronize this business if you value ethical business practices, professionals, or just basic decency. read more

Made an appointment to get RV looked at, turns out it was still 6 weeks after that appointment before I ever got an estimate . The 1 project out of 4 I did ask them to do, still took an extra 3 weeks to finish. When I went to pick it up, it was done wrong, at this point I just cut my losses and took it with me. Ridiculously slow service, horrible communication and repeated unfulfilled timelines. Horrible communication between departments. Had every intention of selling my trailer and turning around and going back there and purchasing a new one......not now, I will look at other dealers. read more

Gander outdoor in Medford Oregon has THEE poorest customer service I have ever encountered! I have had an appt with them for 3 months, giving them plenty of time to receive parts that are needed to service our Motorhome. After calling multiple times and told I would get a call back from service ( never did) I finally talked with "Dan" multiple times confirming dates and appt times. I was traveling 5 hours to get work done here so I Also called 2 days before my service date and spoke with Rebecca to confirm appt and that parts arrived. "Rebecca" confirmed that everything was set to happen on time... upon arriving to Ganders Medford- "Jess" confirmed our appt and I could leave and return once service was completed in a few hours. I received a call from "Jess" that parts were never ordered, but he would check a few more places and get back to me..... 2 hours passed so I called to check up- at that time "Jess" was at lunch. I ubered back to Ganders Medford to be treated poorly and handed keys to motorhome without any apology or solution to fixing this disastous situation. We just went there to dump and its the only dump station in medford and there was a trailer there not dumping and not hooked up. With another person trying to dump in front of us. What the hay!!!! Im a brand new "Rv'r" and was totally clueless on most of all of it. This place has the nicest most patient and helpful people ever! They answered all my questions, have a full service shop and parts for everything. I was even taught how to empty my dump tanks and the guy couldn't have been more helpful!
