Where do I begin! If I could give Caveman RV a Zero, Negative Zero, and/or a no star I would! I would not recommend anyone buying from this dealership! Pass them up and go somewhere else. Take your money and run as fast as you can away from Grants Pass! A deal that started several weeks ago working with Sarah C. Has been a buyers nightmare. I was in the market to purchase a brand new 2022 Lance 1172. I was approved for the loan and Sarah had provided some very high numbers that I did not feel comfortable paying. I decided to not pursue the deal. Sarah was really hoping that I would accept these high numbers, which I kindly declined and decided not to proceed. Two days later I get a call from Alan the sales manager and he gives me different numbers that were in line from what I had received at Curtis Trailers. I agreed to those numbers with additional accessories and paid a $3k deposit. These accessories included a super hitch, which was suppose to be ordered for my pick up today 13MAY2022. After waking up at 0200 and driving the 4.5hrs and booking a hotel plus gas I arrived at Caveman RV this AM. After meeting Alan and Sarah in person my brother and I waited 1.5hrs only for Alan to disclose that there was a misunderstanding and the super hitch for my truck was never ordered. Essentially Sarah was under the impression I had a super hitch already on my truck and although I had send her pictures of my hitch of my trucks current stock hitch weeks prior. So not only did Caveman RV not order the right equipment that should of been part of the deal supposedly they stated this was miscommunication. This is straight out BS and this is exactly how they treat thier customers. They wait until you drive 4.5hrs, spend money on gas, take personal time off and not even offer resolution. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else. Caveman RV is not worth your time or money. See pictured of the hitch on my truck. It's not a super hitch as you can see! This was a bad screw up on thier part! Please take your business elsewhere. Save yourselves the time and headache! Don't count on Caveman RV to fix anything because instead of being proactive and offering if they can call around other dealers in hopes to fix the issue all they did was apologize. Thier apology doesng cover the expense and time spent driving there and the memories you hoped you would make with you kid because of something caveman could have verified and planned with a simple check list! I recently made a great deal on an RV, completed the paperwork, put down a $5K deposit and set a pickup date. Subsequently, due to a home purchase going south and no where to put the RV, I had to contact them and back out of the deal. I explained the circumstances and asked if they would refund half of my deposit. Glenn said he would check with his manager and get back to me. In about an hour he contacted me and said they would refund my entire deposit. Needless to say they will be my first contact for a future RV purchase. read more

Found the Grand Design Reflection on line located at Caveman RV. We live four hours away. Glenn our salesman was great. We did everything via email, text, and phone. When we arrived everything was as stated. Don did our financing and it went pretty smoothly. Met the owner, Allan, was very welcoming and made us feel appreciated. The walk through with the shop guys answered any question I had. Promptly took care of a couple very minor issues. Wish we lived closer to have our service work done there. HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!! Where do I even begin!!! NEVER EVER GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY! We went back and forth with them for 6 months about getting a camper shell on our truck!! They treated us very poorly and they are totally unprofessional. We finally got the call that they had ordered our camper shell and it was ready to be put on. We drove 2 hours from our house to get this put on. We dropped it off very excited that we were finally getting our camper shell. We were waiting for an hour when we got the call they had ordered the wrong camper shell. How stupid and irresponsible are they to not think that when it came in that it was so SMALL!! They don't know how to work and think they can get away with scamming people. I hope corporate sees this or anyone with the ability to fire Tanner. I cannot tell you how rude he is. He has no respect for people and thinks he can just manipulate us. His service disgusts me. I hope anyone with a brain reads this and doesn't give Caveman RV their well earned money. I hope they go bankrupt and Tanner and all the employees are out of a job! This is the worst experience i have ever had in my 68 years of life! What honestly sold me on them was Chris in service, he goes over everything with nice and slow and has you ask question plus his work is top notch for the RV world.. I've gotta say I was impressed with the repair side of this business. I can't offer any input regarding the sales side as I've not purchased anything here. But honestly, if you need something fixed, Tim in back is the man! I have a super rare and polished out, vintage Shasta trailer that had some external lighting issues. I was a bit scared to let go of my little gem as I don't just let anyone touch it. But in talking with Tim (yes, they let me speak with the actual tech) he assured me he'd be careful. Well, after a couple of days of tricky work (he had to remove lots of screws and lift up the sides to reach the light wires) he called me to say it was done. He also fixed the original, 60-year-old gas range, cleared out an old waterline and replaced some window seals. I drove around back and there it was, better than I left it. Made one phone call after a horrible experience with BLUE DOG RV in Redding CA , and we called caveman and had a deal within the hour and they even had it ready by the weekend , Frank was our salesman and we worked with Nick in financing and Tim in service .... Horrible customer service from the parts department. Lack of communication and no accountability.

This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Decided to buy a trailer to live in and it has been nothing but a nightmare. Paid for the trailer in FULL and got the extended warranty, and in less than 4 months when we tried to get the trailer fixed the employees were extremely rude and so was the owner. They called us names, got loud, and ultimately said we caused the issue, refusing any and all services to us and leaving us without anywhere to live. read more

This was by far the worst RV dealership I have ever seen! Do not expect their sales Manager Alan to be able to perform the most simplest task of his job, like emailing an invoice to your bank for your new RV. Alan's solution to this was to have me drive down there and pick up the invoice myself so I could do it. He was beyond rude and tried changing the deal I had with the salesman Frank. Alan was so petty that he refused to shake my hand when the RV was turned over to me. During the walk thru the dealership techs did not know the systems of the Grand Design product they sold me and were unable to explain them (they are a Grand Design authorized dealer!) I spent 58k on my 2015 Fifth-wheel trailer and when I took possession it had two water leaks and electrical circuits that did not work. When I called to have the leaks and electrical issues corrected I was met with disbelief and resistance from the dealership. They finally sent a tech out to fix the issues and after he left I found parts he had removed from my RV that he did not put back on (washers and screws that held on the undercover of my RV). Caveman RV should not be trusted and be avoided at all co$t. Take your money to Medford or Ashland, you will get no service and respect from the staff at Caveman RV. read more

Great RV Sales organization to deal with! I've bought many trailers and working with Sales, Finance, Managers, Service Department, etc were all stellar. I drove down from Eugene to purchase a Lance and Nick in Finance was able to be very patient with me in working out the right deal. I think we took 2-3 weeks to nail it and he was always calling me back. Working with Frank and Allen on the Sales side was easy and painless. Tim in Service was awesome and helped convert my 12v to Dual 6v Batteries. I will do business with Caveman RV again on my next RV adventure! read more

These guys fixed our RV and while in the process of climbing on our roof, one of the guys must have pushed hard on the side of our pristine RV that we just bought and caused four holes to poke right through the skin of our trailer. We confronted the owner with video proof and photo proof of before and after, but he denied his workers ruined our trailer. They can not explain how the holes got there. CAVEMANS estimate to repair the damage is $600.00. The owner of the business refuses to do ANYTHING about it! We won't be back! Not good business practice. read more

We tried to purchase a trailer from the sales manager. He played so many games, it was terrible. We even had our title mailed to Caveman RV and he said he never received it even though the tracking said they did, he is keeping our title hostage. He would only do a cash deal with us. No other way to purchase from them. He made my wife very uncomfortable and treated her like she was stupid. We went on the advise here that they where a good company, this sales manager stater this spring and if this is how they are going to do business good luck to them. The service guys where nice they did help adjust my hitch for it was loose. Thanks service guys. Tried to purchase a Snugtop canopy for our Ram here but couldn't even get them to call with a quote. I emailed twice through website, no response. I called 2 different occasions and was told salesman Tanner was busy doing installs and would return my call, 7 hours later still no response. On the 3rd phone call I got the same response, hes busy and will call you back. My response? No thanks, I'll buy my canopy elsewhere since this seems to be the norm for your customer service. I had looked at the Imagine line of trailers they had at a Sportsman show and wanted to have my wife look at those as well but not with that type of service. Why would a business spend the time and money to go to sales shows yet run customers away with terrible customer service? I called Hardcastles in Central Point, got an immediate quote on the canopy from a courteous salesman, and am waiting for it to be built. Caveman not only lost a $3500 canopy sale but possibly a $25-$30,000 travel trailer as well. Maybe they would be better off training their employees to better serve customers than to waste it at rv shows. Word of mouth advertising is good when its positive. It can really hurt a business when its negative. I wonder which business I will be recommending to friends and family? read more

The layout and the grab bars are especially important for us. Frank and Chad, went out of their way to set up both trailers for us. We bought a 2010 trailer from this business. It has a small town feel and the people are very nice and helpful they just don't back up what they say they are going to do! We bought our RV a used 2010 and they said they would have it cleaned and checked out everything before allowing it to leave the lot and delivered to our residence. First of all, when our trailer arrived they did not clean it and we have found numerous electrical problems among other things. Such as, I had noticed a leak on the outside window of the pop- out and asked if they would take care of it and he said yes of course. They did not! I found spider webs all over the Rv and one of the contractors left pen writing all over the cabinet in the bathroom and we are still trying to get it off after having it for 3 weeks. I would recommend before leaving with your used Rv make sure you have a warranty like we do, also, that they indeed clean it and had it check out. For a 2010 and one that was barely use we should not have the problems we are having. Lastly, remember this they don't come out and fix your trailer you have to bring it in. read more

I chose caveman rv because they had a camper that would fit my truck. They pressured me to buy on the spot but my wife wanted to check one out In Medford. When we found the one in Medford to be cheaper we called the salesman frank and told home we weren't going to buy his. He called back and said that if we would by theirs they would throw in the tie down and wiring at no extra fee. Based on this we bought the caveman camper. We were called in our motel room and told it was ready and to come Down. 3 hours later it was ready as my wife was waiting for me In the motel. Way past due I hurried and paid. When I got home I realized that they had charged me $300 extra. When I called frank to tell him of the error he said I had to talk to the owner chad. He said it was no mistake that he purposely charged more to make up for the free tie downs. I asked for my money back and he said I didn't understand business. I would recommend that nobody use this business without a lawyer. The whole point was that the sales hook was the free tie downs! read more

BEWARE: VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY company. Allen the finance manager will try to steal your money plain and simple. I put a deposit on a coach and when financing options didn't work out played nice and said "ok sorry it didn't work out we will obviously give you the deposit back" they pretended to refund me, acted nice, SAID they refunded me but as time went on it seemed they never did. I called back a week later since I hadn't seen the money go back to my account, they again confirmed that they initiated the refund and told me that it is my bank that is likely holding my money. I called my bank ... my bank and they said he HAS NOT attempted any refund and suggested I open a dispute, Allen continued to keep my money for weeks and wouldn't return calls. When I finally got ahold of him, he interrupted me constantly and didn't listen to a single word I was saying, and ended the phone call with no resolution and just said "I'll have to look into it and call you later." Didn't call and wouldn't answer my calls further. He is condensing and very ignorant and clearly an unhappy man. Its illegal in Oregon to keep the deposit in this situation. as everyone else has stated here, they are running a very shady business. I read some negative reviews on them even before deciding to go with them but since they seem to have great prices I neglected all of the bad reviews and had to learn the hard way. If you are considering at all getting any work done or buying anything from this place, you WILL regret it. read more

Very disappointed to say the least. It was a down hill spiral from the minute we signed the papers. We wanted a couple things added to the trailer (which they said was ordered 2 weeks before we were going to pick up) upon getting up at the butt crack of dawn, we traveled a few hours to pick up the trailer and take it to a camp site. We wanted to check it out. Well when we arrived it was not done. No one even called to let us know. After LOTS of drama (would loved to have ripped the papers up) we were able to take the trailer to the campsite for the weekend and dropped it off before we left. A week later we were able to pick it up, We showed up and we were told to go find it and hook it up. (Not happy with that answer at all) needless to say they had 2 trailers that were the same parked next to each other. Someone finally came out to help. It felt as the sales manager was completely avoiding us. (I really think that he was) We finally get on the road and they didn't put our DMV info in the trailer, once again we had to turn around and go back. At this point I was pissed. ( and that takes a lot for me to get upset) It was a horrible experience and you'd think if you were spending that kind of money they'd care a little bit. I am writing this for my parents who purchased a brand new Econ by Pacific Coachworks RV last year. They have had nothing but problems with the RV and Caveman RV has been less than helpful. They have had a water leak in their brand new RV and Caveman RV has neglected to fix the RV, and instead has continued to jerk them around, and done really crappy work. My parents RV has been in their service department more in the last year than at their home. They have contacted Pacific Coachworks directly and they have not been helpful either. Customer Service for both Caveman RV and Pacific Coachworks has been awful to say the least. We would not recommend this dealership or brand. read more

I intended on purchasing a used camper, and looked at a unit at Caveman RV. I asked to have a salesman walk me through all the equipment to ensure it all works. The owner advised me that I had to purchase the camper, pay for it, and then they would ensure everything worked. I said no, I'll ensure everything works, and then purchase the unit. We went round and round on this until I finally said, look, I haven't bought the unit yet and I'm not going to if you don't work with me. I ended up walking out. A few minor problems handled expertly by owner with help of excellent service department. Service even made a "house call" to an RV park to evaluatae a possible problem.
