The fitting rooms are closed due to COVID but they are welcoming returns for everything as long as you have your receipt! Oh boy, Forever 21 recently opened at the Outlets... As if shopping at the Outlets doesn't get crazy enough on the weekends, let's throw more females ranging in age from tweens to grown women who don't dress their age into the mix! The size of the store is pretty average. Nothing huge like at Valley Fair, the Great Mall, or San Francisco's Powell. I'm not sure if it's because of the current season, but the clothing selection was very casual. Compared to other Forever 21s, dressier clothes were very limited and practically non-existent. Don't expect to find much here if you're looking for an outfit to go-out in. The clearance selection is larger than other Forever 21s. This is good if you have the patience rummaging through racks of clothes for deals. I usually don't bother, but I was bored and actually found a decent dress. And holy crap, I actually fit into a size small here! Overall, the selection is a little too casual for me, but it's nice to have Forever 21 located near where I live so I can buy affordable, of-the-moment pieces. Wow this is the worst Forever 21 I have ever been to. The store is so messy, the clothes are thrown everywhere, and there wasn't one sales associate in sight. The floors looked like they haven't been vacuumed in months. I wish I took pictures. I did browse the store a little bit, but eventually gave up because the sight of the store gave me a headache. I probably spent 5 minutes max in the store and did not see one worker. Save your money and take it elsewhere. There are better stores at the Gilroy Outlets. read more

I absolutely love it here, though they have just opened their selections are a lot more organized than the one I go to(great mall in milpitas) . I found that the cleanness of this place out shine the other and the workers that work here are super helpful and more kind. Cons: Bc they just opened they didn't have all the other clothing/ accessories found online. Which is totally understandable. What?! A F21 at the Gilroy outlets? It'd been eons since I went, but noticed it on my way back from LA and had to go. Alas, it's not an outlet, but a regular store, but F21 products are so cheap anyways, they're all great deals! Store is pretty darn huge, and I spent FOREVER and a day in here. Surprisingly, I found items that I had bought 2 years ago here, but found a lot of cute stuff for the fall and winter as well. Lots of dressing room space, and since it was still early, the store wasn't too packed. The BF and I decided to take advantage of this lovely spring day by getting some shopping done. After visiting a few key stores in some of the plazas we called it a day, hopped onto the freeway to hit up Sonics. On our way back towards San Jose, I saw the sign... FOREVER 21. WHAT!?!? At the outlets?! SCORE! My BF immediately exited and drove me back to the stores. Its in the same plaza as the Nike Outlet. Parking was still pretty good for that side of the plaza. There aren't too many big name stores in that area,which was good. No traffic jams or fighting for parking. The store was a pretty decent size, bigger than some mall locations. The selection is what you'll pretty much find any other Forever store, but their clearance section was fairly large and I did a lot of digging around. The staff was super friendly. The girl who rung me up was super nice. Apparently it was just their "soft opening", and their official Grand Opening was scheduled the following week. The store was pretty busy for a soft opening, but kept the line going pretty fast, unlike some stores. So far they're doing great! read more

I'm usually a fan of Forever 21 and have to stop myself from buying everything in the store, but with this one, I found it really difficult to find anything to buy. The things I DID like...they ended up only having sizes that were way to large for me. I ended up buying 3 skirts to go clubbing in at $6 each which a typical good Forever 21 deal. The service was very nice, I have no complaints there. Also the fitting room doors were kinda scary. The store is brand new so I don't understand how my door looked like it was gonna pop open at any moment in the middle of me changing! They should get new locks for the doors. read more

I LOVE this store! They have a great selection, I thought that they would only have older styles...but everytime i go in i see the same items that i see on the online store! There are many sales associates that are very helpful, I am however only giving 4 stars because this girl in the fitting rooms has been rude to me on 3 seperate occasions. She doesn't greet me, or even talk to me.....she just stands there and waits for me to talk to her...even though im always nice to her and say please and thank you....she's kinda on the fluffy side, so look out for that. Other than that there is a lot to choose from! True the store isn't decorated as nicely as other stores, well...it's not decorated at all......but it's an outlet, what would you expect? read more

All I can say is this store is pathetic. It's not the same as a few years ago. They carry less and less styles mainly all T-shirts, leggings and jeans. Maybe because it's in an outlet center they carry such ugly and simple clothes. I will drive to Oakridge or Valleyfair for a better selection. read more

3.5 stars. It's cool that there's one here in the Gilroy outlets because their clothes are already pretty cheap so it's always interesting to see what's cheaper here. Employees are not necessarily nice here either. A bunch of people were walking around the sales racks (which are usually messy too- clothes on the floor and on top of the center of the racks) and there were 2 employees that were chatting away loudly and not moving for any of the customers which was really annoying. This store isn't super clean but not super gross either... it's just mostly the sales rack area (all the way in the back of the store in the left corner). The fitting rooms really bug me too. They look old and it's crowded. The aisle is super narrow. The room doors are wooden slats and lock with a hook. It annoys me that the fitting rooms couldn't be better when it was just built like a year ago... I have found some good finds here though, especially when you're patient to go through all the messy sales racks. The cashiers are usually just OKAY. The fitting room employee is usually just okay too. All in all, the employees could be trained better in customer service or just get an attitude check. read more

This is an outlet so it's bound to be way smaller than the typical stores. However, it had a good variety of clothes all over the place, as a normal Forever does. You know how the colored jeans are in style right now? They have a bunch of different sizes in all the colors which is great. The sale section is not bad since I found a random dress in there for $7. Jewelry with the light pink tag is less than $2. However, take this into consideration. Since Forever21 is so cheap already, there isn't really much marked down from normal price except for the sale section. read more

This store is a mess, honestly the worst Forever 21 I've ever been to. It is small and they do not have a mens section, which wouldn't be a problem if the selection was good. This store has such a small selection compared to other Forever 21 stores and the close is not nice at all. In the 12 years I have lived in gilroy not once have I seen it clean, in fact most of the time it is hard to see the floor. I recently bought a shirt for a huge company event the next day. When I went to put it on I realized the girl left the security sensor on it. I figured I don't need it now so I will just go in and get my money back. I don't understand the policy of Forever 21 where 2 people are not allowed to be in 1 dressing room, that even families are not exempted from it. My daughter who's 11 (turning 12) and I went to this store today and had some clothes to fit. The attendee at the dressing room already made me feel uncomfortable while she waited impatiently for me to sort out the clothes since we had more than the required number of clothes to try on. I had 2 and my daughter had 10 so obviously I finished first then proceeded to knock on her door to help her. The girl then told me I'm not allowed to be there. I said I need to help her and the girl said she can help my daughter instead. I said it doesn't make sense that a stranger can help my daughter who's only in her underwear and bra but her own mother can't? Call me conservative but I just can't let that happen or even let her parade out to show me the clothes that she's trying on. The attendant just made me so uncomfortable because she was so irritated so I asked if there's a manager I can talk to. She started ranting about me being in the hallway and on people's way when there were no other people around and I know when to move to the side so I won't be on their way. Plus, I was standing across the room where there's an empty fitting room so I wasn't on people's way. Then another employee told her it's okay since my daughter is a minor. Suddenly the attendee said, I told her my daughter is 12, now she's calling me a liar? Do I have to explain to her that my daughter will be 12 in 4 months, does that make a difference? She walked away and said I can't do this anymore! Is that the proper way how to handle customers? If that's their policy, fine, but post it somewhere visible so that people like me who doesn't agree with it will take our business some place else. When I explained this to the 2nd employee who tried to pacify the attendee, she thought that I was attacking her and said she's just trying to help. It's not hard for me to admit my mistake so I apologized and thanked her for helping. My point is, the dressing room attendee needs to be trained on customer service. Customers can be wrong but there's a better way to handle it than walking away and making their customer uncomfortable. By the way, they didn't call the manager and preferred to deal with it that way. read more

One of the most dirtiest outlet store in the Gilroy outlets. I took my sister to this store, went inside because I was going to buy her birthday gift. First thing I notice, the floors, they were disgusting! Looks like they haven't cleaned the place in years! The clothes seem okay. The people aren't welcoming. But it's just the place's look that makes me want to run out and never come in again. The floor is cover with lots of gum pieces, lots of dirt and horrible stains and other things that I don't even know what they are. These employees have to get their cleaning game on! Small little store; don't really have much to choose from in terms of unique pieces or selection (compared to forever21.com or a bigger store). I just came in to return/exchange something and luckily they had the shirt I wanted to exchange for, so that's a plus. I could've given this store a higher rating except the girls that work here are total bitches. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there's nothing crazy about this place. It seems as if it's your typical F21 store. No "huge sales" that I noticed. I was looking for active wear and seriously walked around the whole store, until my mom noticed one lone rack with a combination of sports bras, pants and shirts. So technically I found what I was looking for but there wasn't a huge selection. I decided to look at their "clearance" section before we left. I walked there and turned right back around to pay for what I already had. Their clearance section was not marked, no sizes separated, and I was not about to waste my time. The cashier didn't try to carry on any kind of conversation with you. It was just "hello, your total is" and that's it. I love shopping where I can connect with the associates. Worst forever 21 I have EVER been to. Clothes were EVERYwhere on the floor. It was messy. One employee was working on fixing the clothes while the others were gossiping with the cashiers. On my way out happened to hear them and another Employee who had just interviewed someone for a job position talk badly about the person and were even joking/ laughing about her with the other employees. My two teenage daughters and I went in here for the first time on a Sunday boy were we surprised!!! The entire staff working were amazing, very helpful, friendly, and 100% attentive! Prices were wonderful as well. We bought a blouse, a dress, a belt and a tote bag for under $40.00! I am a seamstress and could not have made these items any cheaper on my own. I highly recommend shopping here, we live over an hour away from Gilroy but will definatley shop here from now on. read more

So me and my friend walk in today and no one greeted us AT ALL. I told one of the girls "HELLO! :)" at the register and she still didn't say hi to me, i thought that was completely rude!! As i was looking at the clothes my friend next to me tells me two workers were looking at me all crazy and they were laughing and whispering towards each other making the reference towards me, i felt so uncomfortable in that store i wanted to make a complain and call the district manager. These young girls were so rude it made me sick to stomach at the fact that there's other people like myself who will enjoy to have a job like that and they just don't seem to care that theyre working and acting like a bunch of immature high schoolers. As my friend and i was going to buy some items me and my friend were standing at the register with us really being the only there no one helped me & my friend at the register and one of the workers just glanced at me and went back to talking to the co worker in the back fitting room. I left my items at the counter and my friend and i just left. I will never step foot back into that store again. All of the employees are standing around having conversations amongst each other. I was in the store for over 20 mins and not one of the 6 employees came to ask if i needed help or even greeted me. It's a Tuesday and very slow in there. I literally had to stop and say HI to one of the employees and even then, she barely said hi back. I will not go back here because i did not feel welcomed.
