Don't ever work here!!!! I recently applied for a position, I got the job, but then I realized they would not accommodate my schedule (I'm a student In college) so I quickly told the HR manager that I could not accept the position, mind you I never started training, I never received an email back from HR. Wildly unprofessional and they treat their employees like crap. You only make 11 dollars an hour, you could make more money nannying. They don't accommodate students and regularly do training and orientation during the week so if you have another job or you're a student I don't suggest working here! read more

I feel kind of weird reviewing Forever 21 because A) I'm like fifty and B) it's Forever 21... who reviews Forever 21? However, I am just utterly compelled to talk about this damn place. It's brand new, spanking clean and just kind of heavenly. The hours are ridiculous... in NY most Forever 21s are open til 10:30 pm which is wonderful for those of us who work like fourteen hours a day... I am pretty sure this Forever 21 is open until 1 am. Yes. For real. And it is four huge floors of just completely organized, cheap, amazing clothes. I cannot believe I was so enthralled with a trip to Forever 21 but I just kept texting my sister, "you would die if you saw this Forever 21. you would cry. you would not be able to believe it." It is just so well-designed, the outfits are put together so well... I mean I don't even like to shop THAT much and I was in heaven. And for being brand new and right in Times Square it wasn't overly crowded (but fine, it was 11 pm on a weeknight). read more

The only good thing about this place is that it's open until 2 am, I ordered something from there website it didn't fit I called around to different locations and got the same answer that this location had my size in stock. Came all the way from Yonkers on the metro north in one of the coldest days of year to get my item. For whatever reason it wasn't on the sales floor so asked a sales person to help me they said the item was still in the boxes and that they couldn't take it out only a manager I asked for one but he doesn't come in till 10 am mind you I got to the store at 11 it's after 2 and he's just walking in so I asked him about the item and he's response to me was he's to busy for this and can't help me and that I should come back in a few days or so and maybe when he gets around to it will be out. Being that I walked around for hours waiting on him to come in I had entire bag of things I planned on buying that I just left on the floor cause why should I spend my money in a store with this type of person as a manager when I asked for his name he took off his name tag and went down the escalator. Aww I didn't know this replaced the Virgin Mega Store. Well, I guess I'll say they put the space to good use. Despite being in the worst tourist trap location ever, this F21 is VERY organized. It's huge, so yes while there are groups of people piling in every 2 minutes, there's enough space for everyone to aimlessly wander around the 4 levels without really getting in to anyone's way. This place is so huge and organized it's actually a hindrance to the average F21 shopper. The levels are well organized, but you may have to spend an hour on each level to really find what you intended to buy. With that said, I think it is best to ask a SA to point you in the direction of exactly what you are looking for. There is no doubt, that you will find SOMETHING here, but it may not be what you intended to buy. Don't come here with $13 in your wallet (who am I kidding, you can still buy something and maybe something cute at F21 with $13 lol) or you'll be mad and want to jump from the first floor. I think this is THE shopping stop of Times Square if you want to spend $100 and get 6+ items. Now, for the accessories (purses specifically) and shoe department it didn't seem that well stocked or maybe they just were bought out that day. I thought that section would be insane, but yeah..only disappointment. Otherwise, the store seemed to have everything that was on the website, maybe even more! Don't bother. Huge store. One dressing room and one check out. I have broken foot in cast but staff would not allow me to sit. Escalator broken. Stumbled up n down stairs in foot brace. My daughter waited 30 plus minutes to try on dress with broken zipper. Staff rude. Thank god broken zipper because probably would have spent 30 in check out. I have two teen daughters and we go to lots of Forever 21 and all have multiple dressing rooms and check out. Times Square Forever 21 is about ZERO customer service. Had money to spend. I love the Forever 21 in my hometown, but after visiting the one in NYC I'm not sure if I ever want to return to one again. Even though I found several pieces of clothing I liked. The quality of their employees is the worst I've ever encountered. After waiting 15 minutes in one line, we decided to try a line on a different floor. the line was shorter but, we waited 30 minutes just to find out we were in the credit card line. The line in fact wasn't even labeled to be credit specific. So then we were directed to the next line over. Other civilians had to change their line as well. The women working that line checked out only one person in our group and the other three had to put their items back. We live 3 1/2 hours away, we were planning on leaving at 6, we didn't even leave the store till 7. The women was letting other customers cut in front of us and was rude and ignored our presence. Overall, this experience sucked and I cannot believe the experience I just had. read more

Please, Forever 21 HQ, get the employees of this location some training on customer service, some tags with their names or something that distinguish them from customers. Not one, not two but three of your sales employees acted as if they didn't work there when I was approaching them with a question. The only reason I knew they worked there is because one was fixing the same mannequin for 15 minutes while talking to another employee who was folding the same shirt for a while. Not only that but they were so into their conversation and so loud that it felt as if I was being rude for interrupting. The girl fixing the mannequin wouldn't even turn her head to face me after I ask them both about a necklace or some piece of jewelry. I know this isn't Barney's or Bloomindale's, however I have never seen three employees from the same store act so poorly towards customers. Why dont you do your staffing a little better and instead of security guards standing up watching the customers you schedule them off and bring in a cashier. Furious about how my son was treated in this store considering the amount of money we spent. The store has 4 floors...we were on the 3rd floor (which is down and all the up elevators were broke). My 11 year old son asked someone to use the bathroom, the associate told him no that he could go next door to the Disney store. So we started making our way to the cash register to pay so we could get him to the restroom. We got to the register and my son was barely making it...he had his own money so he was in line on his own to pay and as he danced around he asked another associate (the cashier) if he could please use the restroom...they told him no again. He looked very uncomfortable and was dancing around so I had to tell him I would pay for his items and he would have to go alone NEXT DOOR IN NEW YORK CITY AT 11 YEARS OLD ALONE!!! The cashier that rang me up looked around and I assume she was debating if she should let him in but by then he was running up the broken escalator alone. After 2 broken escalators, running next door ALONE, having to ask Disney associate where was bathroom, then going upstairs at that store he ended up peeing on himself and calling me to let me know he didn't make it. After he spent money on his own clothes, I spent money, my mom spent money, my sister spent money, we had already spent over 300 dollars and THEN spent more money buying him more pants to put on!!!! I understand a no bathroom policy however when there is a child and you have customers spending hundreds I STRONGLY feel an exception should have been made. Loved the amount of things they had but plan to take our entire purchase back today. Bad customer service, no way to treat paying customers!!! read more

I am never one to write a bad review because I simply hate the thought of soiling someone's job or getting someone in trouble, but I can not even believe what I just went through with Forever 21 customer support. I submitted the incorrect mailing address which of course was 100% my fault. Immediately catching my mistake I then tried reaching out to customer support to change my shipping info, but no answer. I tried emailing which said I would have a reply in 24 hours, but again no luck. I continued emailing and calling but no one picked up or replied until my package had already shipped. Again I understand it was my fault for not double checking the shipping info. After explaining the situation each representative kindly did what they could to help me, but it was unfortunately too late for them to help. They kindly redirected me to FedEx to sort out the issue. FedEx each time told me that the shipper would have to call in, so I reached out to customer support again and explained the situation again with my new found information. I understood that the representatives were doing everything they could to help, but after one simply hanging up on me I then decided my time was being wasted talking to people who were simply not in the position to do what I was asking. I then asked to please speak to a manager. I understand their policy says they are not responsible for lost packages, however I tried from the moment I his submit to reroute the package to the correct sender and no one would get back to me. After days of trying to get this problem resolved and being told to call someone else and being continuously back and forth I no longer cared about receiving my order, but simply just wanted my money back. Still no one would direct me to a manager. I understand that this all started due to my mistake, but I tried to fix it over and over and over before the package was sent. Had someone responded to me this situation would not have happened. I know it is beyond customer support's control to refund me, but I can not believe how no one would simply redirect me to someone that could help me. I have never complained with a company before due to never wanting to seem rude, but this situation has put me over the edge. Being that it is VERY huge it does have a lot of merchandise but it is so infinitely hard to shop here. too many people, too much randomness everywhere. actually, Forever 21 is hard to shop in wherever it is but this one was also bizarrely set up. all I bought were tank tops last time I went. that being said, I gave it one extra star bc of the AMAZING accessories section!! omg everything they have online is in this store, and I love cheap F21 jewelry, for real. Great prices and everything looks so damn cute! There are some F21 that have minimal jewelry but this one has everything you could ever want and if you're an accessory maniac like me, it is worth it for this floor alone. read more

The service is so poor. I bought a skirt from the store that I didn't try on. When I got home the zipper was broken. I had thrown out the receipt (had spent like $300 there) so I returned with the skirt that still had the tags on. They refused to return it "because it's not part of a their rules". Fine a store has rules and as a sales assistant you can't ignore those rules. But the way it was said was so rude and additionally (this is perhaps more directed at forever 21 as a company) change your stupid return policy. It is unfair that I have to throw out a 35$ skirt because it is broken in ur store when I never used it and return it with all tags on brand new. read more

Absolutely love this store - except I wish it weren't in touristy Times Square. My favorite location used to be Union Square, but now it has lost it's luster. Can be a bit mind boggling for those first visiting this location as it's the largest one on the East Coast. 4 floors of clothing, accessories, intimates - can't beat that or the prices! This is for the fashionista on a budget. But girls, don't drag your poor b/fs along. They will be miserable here as you peruse the racks and racks of clothing. read more

HORRENDOUS customer service! Never seen anything like it- I'd give it 0 stars if I could. This place is not worth spending time and energy writing an extensive review for but long story short- 6 cashiers standing around (I counted them during the 10 minutes I waited to even be acknowledged) with only 1 helping a customer. There was no line for the 10 minutes, and when one started forming a cashier looked up, saw me, walked around the cash register and brought the customer behind me to the front of his register. Where I live, the Forever 21 is crammed, and the clothes are scattered randomly throughout the store. Not here! There are FOUR LEVELS of clean, roomy, well-organized clothes. They even have plus-sized, children, and a men's section. The only complaint I have is that they sort of fool you by placing the same shirt on every level or something, so there really aren't as many clothes as you would think. But for what they do have, it's really cute and classy! read more

Times Square is my least favorite of places in NYC, but this store is one of the only reasons I go. If I'm in the mood for a late night shopping trip, I come here. I've visited this store many many times and never had any bad experiences. The store is very big and sometimes can be hard to navigate. I feel there should be better signs with more noticeable indications on where to find things. I wear the plus size clothing, and wish the section was a bit bigger and had more of what they have online. I'm not that disappointed with what they have now, but since I'm the kind of person that can't really guess my size and order online and needs to try on things, it would be nice to be able to try more merchandise on than having to take a risk. I have never experience any poor service, I am always greeted by the staff and never bothered by them. The worst thing that can happen is being pestered constantly by staff when you are in no need of help. Recently, I went in looking for two specific items in two different sections. The staff were so very helpful and thorough in trying to direct me to the items, even though it turns out they were not in stock. I'm very thankful that they tried their best and were not rude. My only thing is that sometimes their tags are not visible, so I can't always tell if they are an employee. I would like to give the staff of this store a pat on the back, I'm sure they work very hard to keep this busy and gigantic store in order. I hope this store never closes, if it does, I will have nowhere to go shopping at 1am :( read more

The store is huge and the clothing selection is amazing. There are many floors. However, the customer service was awful! The employees in the store were very rude and were no help at all. I ordered from forever 21 site March 20th and it's been 11 days I've waited for my items to come it still hasn't came to my door yet and every time I call customer service it says it's closed by certain times and I call at the times they are available and it says the same thing that they're closed and I look on the forever 21 site to track my order and it just says shipped but won't say when it'll arrive or where my items are .. wow this a godzilla of a clothing store multi levels ,you can get lost.i usually dont venture in this area at night, but times square area has changed so much, and this place has really late hours. i first wanted to take care of my buds business i got the gift cards for my friends wife for her birthday(that witch loves this place) and i was done, now i can look around and maybe pick something for me. multi levels and a huge spread out shopping experience with decor reflecting nyc. the girls who work here are all pretty and nice( had to mention that). if you need assistance they are great. the store is mostly devoted to the ladies,from clothes.shoes cheap jewerly, acessories etc. mens section is nicely represented here along with teens, young kids ,children ,etc all. bases are covered here. notice alot of teenage girl and young adults love this place. nice selection of in style clothing and acessories with great prices. and good work crew makes this place a hit.gets crowded so be prepared, but alot of room and many cashiers, so come on down. p.s found a nice jacket for me only 49 bucks. read more

I am writing this review based on my most recent experience. I honestly would rather purchase my merchandise from the forever21 website, because the amount of traffic that comes through here is insane. Yet it is understandable being that it is times square. But I came here on July 1st to purchase some clothes for my birthday the next day. I am a dress size 16 and this is the only physical Forever location I can visit in the city to buy clothes. The plus size level is located two floors down from the main floor level. And with 4-5 levels of merchandise with checkouts on EACH level you would think that they would have more than one level of registers opened. I trucked it up to the main level to purchase a dress i picked up to find out that it had a whole in it, and the sales associate behind the register had the nerve to actually hand me back the dress. After working retail for 5+ years at Target. I know that Forever has some sort of system behind the register to defect merchandise. I go back down to the plus size level and give the dress to a sales floor associate who was baffled that the cashier gave it back. I pick out something else completely different, go back up the escalator to the register and another associate yells out " I can take who's next paying credit or debit!" I make my way to her, with my merchandise as she stands behind what looks like an ipad to ring me up. She rings everything, takes my debit card, and then all of sudden the system freezes. She calls her "manager" over and shen then stated that my payment didnt go through after she pressed whatever button she pressed on the screen. I looked on my mobile Citi app to tell her it did. She (the manager) states " its going to fall off because the system froze, we have to swipe it again". Yet she didnt know she was speaking to a BANK SUPERVISOR! I explained to her that its not going to "fall off" right away and that it can take up to one-four business days for the merchant which is them to collect my funds and once it becomes a purchase I would have to file a claim. Long story short, after the manager and several other associates and a bank phone call with Very loud music in the background I walked out with nothing but my time wasted. I've been a longtime customer of forever 21, but I am so disappointed with the way that its handled their recent return policy changes, that I refuse to shop here ever again. Apparently, if you order online, all items are final sale if you use a promo code. This is a new policy as of April and the only notification consumers are "supposed to receive" is a notice that appears when you apply a promo code, that "alerts" consumers that using the promo code will make items final sale. However, this was not the case when I place an order a few weeks ago on their mobile app-- the app DID NOT show this notice, so I was not aware that items would be final sale/unexchangable/unreturnable when I purchased them. I tried speaking to a customer service representative about remedying this situation (5 of 9 of the items I ordered do not fit), but she was uncooperative and unhelpful, even after admitting that she "wasn't sure the notice appears on the mobile app." As a loyal forever 21 customer that has spent a lot at the establishment, I am appalled at they lack of customer service and how forever 21 takes advantage of policy loopholes and fails to make their customers aware of policy changes that affect them. So, if you continue to shop here, please be aware of this new (and improperly advertised) policy before making a purchase. As for me, I think I'll shop elsewhere. read more

i purchased several items from F21. before wearing, i washed the items as advised on the garment instructions (gentle wash cold water). all of the items came out fine except item 2000183259 contemporary open shoulder dress; it ripped at the hem and tore at the sleeve, and some seems. the fabric pretty much fell apart , and disintegrated like tissue when touched!. i have contacted F21 by phone, email and in person at the store. all customer service reps said that according to their policy there is nothing that can be done. my question is shouldn't you stand behind your product? shouldn't you address the situation and at least look at the garment. do you have any quality control? do you care about your customers? and why should i pay for someting that i cannot use though no fault of my own? this company practices the worst business policies and has no customer service!!! read more

Horrific experience. I was there around 7:30pm tonight and attempted to find an open dressing room. After being ignored by a couple of staff members when I asked if there was an open dressing room, I found one on my own. Out of 4 floors, only 1 of them had an open dressing room. I tried the clothes on, however changed my mind and did not want to purchase any of the items. When I tried to return the clothing to a staff member who was organizing the clothing in the dressing room she gave me the finger wave and said "umm no, not here", scoffed, laughed and pointed me to a different staff member. I walked up to her and she looked me up and down and asked me what I wanted. I politely said I didn't want to buy the items I tried on. She rolled her eyes, snatched the clothing out of my hand and turned away from me. Seriously, if you don't want to work in a busy environment, and can't even be courteous to people, don't work in Times Square! read more
