Lots and lots of clothes but the store is always a disaster zone. There is little organization going on. I understand that things get busy, but hire more people to keep it cleaned up. If you walk into a store and see stuff all over, it is more likely that you will leave. There is NO ONE on the floor to help you with anything. This store has an upstairs and they only have the dressing rooms open on the first floor. There is no register open upstairs either. When you do find the dressing room, there were 14 people standing in line (yes, I counted them). If you're dedicated enough to stand in line, then you get to do the same thing all over again at the registers. Yuck. They have lots of cute stuff, but not worth the drama. Tried to return a dress that clearly was not worn and I had the receipt and their excuse was no tag.. there was one tag on there and who knows if the other one was on there in the first place! Came in here with my wife because she wanted some new clothes. The associates were insanely rude, and was no help what so ever. At the register I asked the cashier if I can have an extra bag after spending over 70 dollars on clothes, she rudely said no which completely shocked me. If I could give this place negative stars I would--and I don't give negative reviews often. I've been into this particular store several times and have been consistently disappointed. I keep stopping in because Forever 21 has some cute, affordable stuff online and I hope to see similar clothes in store. However, even after multiple disappointing stops into this store, today's visit took the cake. I have never experienced such terrible customer service in my life. When we walked in, there was a huge display of jeans on sale for $7.90. In desperate need of some new jeans, I perused the piles to find one in my size. After a little searching, I found a folded pair in the middle of a stack of identical jeans on the $7.90 table. I repeat: these jeans were identical to all the others on the table. I tried them on and decided to buy them. When we got up to the cash register, the jeans rang up $12-something. I told the cashier they were on the $7.90 sale table, and she informed me this particular pair was somehow different. I said no, they were identical in every way (color, texture, thickness, etc.) to the other jeans on the table, and were in fact folded along with all the other jeans in the stack (not just thrown on top, clearly out of place). She asked the "manager" (who we later learned was named Lio, an assistant manager) next to her what the difference was between these jeans and the others on the table, and she couldn't answer. She just kept repeating "they're different because the price is different." Informative. I told her I wanted her to find me a pair of these "different" $7.90 jeans in my size. She was unsuccessful and instead brought me a size smaller (because when I went to purchase the jeans in my size, I actually meant to purchase them in a size that wouldn't fit me... again, very helpful). I continued to tell her everything with my pair matched the others, and the numbers on the tags were even identical. She just kept telling me it didn't matter, these jeans were somehow magically different. Her attitude the whole time was terrible; she couldn't care less that we were expected to pay $5 more for a pair of jeans that were identical to the cheaper ones, just because they were ringing up differently. Extremely rude. How that could possibly pass as customer service I'll never know. Any other reputable store would have honored the sale. This place definitely needs a change in management. As for the store itself, it's pretty horrendous. Clothes are on the floor everywhere. Almost every item you pull off the rack is either an extra small or small. The selection, for all practical purposes, is non-existent: while the patterns of the tops or dresses might differ, there are really only a couple cuts to choose from. There is no rhyme or reason as to how the store is laid out; it's really a confusing place to shop. Save yourself the pain of horrible customer service, a disorganized store, and lack of any meaningful selection. Go across the way to H&M where the selection and service are far superior. read more

i was waiting to pick someone up from the airport and her flight was delayed-so in i went, into southcenter, the "big mall" of my misguided and limited-in-fashion youth. i have since grown and aspire to own the most gorgeous pair of manolo's for the summer....this has perhaps made me a little elitist and i haven't really hung around tukwila or any of the malls in these parts-aside from quick excursions to ikea for a new shelf or something. i'm actually pretty surprised that forever 21 isn't a shop located in belleuve square, but alas, this isn't about my wonderings on why this shop and, say H&M have yet to make appearances in the eastside....or why club monoco, and anthropologie aren't eastside yet. well, i shouldn't really complain too much right? i mean the new neiman marcus will be up by next year and all....(okay, so i may have a shopping thing, i know it can be disconcerting, get over it) SOOOO forever 21. tukwila edition. sorry for the tangent, but back to the review! it's chaotic, but, forever 21 seems prone to a lot of disorganization to me. even the layout of their stores, with tons of clothes out of reach-just doesn't work very well. this one didn't defy any layout model, but, seemed to have embraced it and made it their own. clothes of one style was hard to find in the same shelf/rack in different sizes-it really looked more like the afters of a BIG SALE or something. so, for not so much organization, i say, minus one star forever 21. it's not relaly your fault, but such it goes. on the plus side, they did carry a fair selection, and you can't really complain too much about places like this because for 20 bux and under you can buy yourself a shirt to wear and not really get too concerned about. it's like urban outfitters, just even a little cheaper than there, non? i went into the store, about, 10 minutes before closing and did a quick browse around. my friend with me ended up buying a long sleeve shirt, i didn't find anything to my liking. however, the girls working there were all extremely friendly and didn't even give me a stink eye for being inside the store when they soooo wanted to just close shop for the night. another huge plus. thanks forever 21 shop keepers! it's cheap, it's fast & it's accessible. 3 stars for you!! read more

BE PREPARED. -this place is huge -the clothes have very minimal rhyme or reason on organization -you need to have an open mind FOREVER21 is one of those places you go in the mall to browse through for hours on end if you're not sure of what you're looking for. There are two floors, which equals a CRAP LOAD amount of clothes. If you're LOOKING for something SPECIFIC, this is NOT the place to go. There's just so much of everything. Instead, walk in for no reason, and see what you can find. That's honestly the best solution I can give you. I repeatedly go back here when I'm not sure what I'm looking for in an outfit and tend to STUMBLE upon something in the end that makes me happy. STUMBLING upon things on accident is the usual technique in finding clothes here. But they have a good variety of things that constantly change. So that's always a plus. read more

It has now been about a month and I still haven't gone back to that mall even. The experience I had at this store ruined that mall for me. I've posted my review on other websites because what happened is not ok. A friend and I went to try on clothes. The first worker that showed us our fitting room didn't put a number on it. So after my friend finished i went in to try on my things, not even 2 minutes in and a WORKER walks in on me in my bra. No knock on the door, no asking if someone's in there or anything. Horrible experience and I'll never be going back. She closed the door covering what looked like a smile on her face. This is absolutely disgusting behavior. I still feel too uncomfortable to even go back to the south center mall. I felt humiliated. Just to add more info I'm only 18 years old. I didn't have the best views on my body but after what happened at this store it has gotten worse. This location in my opinion should be shut down. The workers act like children and are no way professional at all. They'd rather be chatting with other workers and not doing the job they are paid for. Is it my fault the worker didn't put the number on my door? NO. Because HALF those other (in use) dressing rooms didn't have a number. I still wish I had complained when my friends went up to pay for their things but I just needed to get out of there. I felt humiliated. Again, in my opinion this location should be shut down. No woman/man/child should be walked in on. ALL workers, no, all PEOPLE should know to knock, ask if someone's in there or do something to alert the person in the room someone's about to come in and laugh at you and make you feel bad about your body. She did absolutely nothing to tell me she was gping to open the door to the dressing room I was in. I'd absolutely rate 0 if I could. Honestly they should make that an option by now considering how many reviews I see that say the exact same thing. This company has lost my business. What happened is something I still think about. I used to LOVE this store, I know the stuff was cheap and cheaply made but I feel like it is even MORE so now. The fabrics are so chincy and the styles out now are gawd awful. This place gives me anxiety lol. It's always messy, but what bothers me the most are the racks. They hang so many clothes on one rack that they're packed on there tightly. It makes it hard for me to look at the clothes without accidentally pulling them off the hangers. I've only had a worker offer to help me like twice, and I work in the mall so I'm there quite often. Another thing is the dressing room. I usually try a ton of things on and the worker in the dressing room starts making me feel like I'm annoying after I make a couple stops. 60 percent of the time the cashier is pretty nice, but occasionally you get a monotone cashier who doesn't care to act like they're grateful for your purchase. read more

My daughter and her friends stopped by this store a week ago first time and had a terrible experience. They are cute middle school teens, polite and well-dressed girls. They were just looking for some new clothes for summer. They walked in the store because they heard from their friends that there are some cute outfits there. As soon as they walked in the store, one of the employee at the register pointed at them and said, "Why they are shopping here?" to her customer with laugh. Wow.... What a AIRHEAD! ! Who will pay for such a low quality products?? These young teens are the ones who will shop at your store and drop $$$. They are the ones who provide you your paychecks!! One of the teens asked politely to the other employee to take down one of the shirt hanging on the wall (she was hoping this employee is better than other...But NOT...). Though that employee was very friendly to other adults customers, she rolled her eyes and took it down for her with unpleasant manner. Forever 21 is a store I go to a lot. They have stylish clothes at somewhat cheap prices, however, as others have already said, their quality is not the best. I'm a huge fan of sweaters and I get a lot of them from here. Their accessories are also very cute and trendy. They have clothes for all types of occasions, from a sleepover to a graduation party. Most of their clothes are tailored towards younger people and this particular store does have a great plus size section, as well as a mens section. The service is great. The staff really want to help you find what you are looking for and they don't bother you constantly like in other stores. Every time my friend and I go to the mall, which is probably once a month, we always get matching socks from here. I know its cheesy, but the socks they have are cute and you can never have too many pairs of socks. All in all, Forever 21 is the place you want to go if you are looking for cheap, trendy clothes of decent quality. read more

I have requested through corporate 2 times that this store do something about a zipper that broke on my vacation back at the end of January. I had to pin myself into the dress just so I could still attend the event that night. Corporate has assured me on both occassions someone from this store would get back to me about the faulty zipper, which, personally I don't know why corporate itself isn't handling it. This is the 3rd zipper that has broken on an item I have purchased at Forever 21. No one from this store seems to care that corporate has given them direction to contact me to resolve this issue. Forever 21 used to be the spot! But now I'm 21 and will barely step foot in the store. The store is super disorganized. Not really the workers fault, but they ship EVERY trend here -- 90's, vintage, velvet, military, sequins, leather, etc. Half the designs are cute but they sell out quickly, the other half are cringe worthy and those are the ones that stay behind and overcrowd all the racks. Then when new designs come in, it's like the clothes are just crammed wherever there's space. This makes it super hard to find things in your size and when you do I GUARANTEE there will either be 1) a tear in it (unintentional) 2) someone's makeup smeared all over or 3) both if you're unlucky. lol. I've heard Southcenter is one of the busiest malls in the PNW, and a lot of people shop at F21 because it's pretty cheap, so they obviously get a lot of customers, but this location feels too understaffed to reflect that. There are dressing rooms and cash registers on the both the first and second floor, but the top floor is almost always closed! Sometimes the line on the first floor to check out will be extremely long (15-20 people), but only two cashiers will be working. I've seen this elderly cleaning lady working here (for like the past 5 years), trying her best to clean this dusty ass store up, but I swear she's the only one! Don't even get me started on trying to find an employee to help you grab something from the shelves/find an item--it's tough. The price also seems to have gone up, but the quality of the clothing hasn't changed or has gone down. The thing that sent me over the edge and made me say FUCK shopping at F21 was when I tried to return a sweater from an online purchase about a week ago. It was cute, but the shoulders kept riding up, and the fit was awkward--I couldn't see myself wearing this thing, but I thought no problem, I live right next to this mall so returning this is gonna be easy. WRONG. The line went by pretty fast, but when I made it to the cashier, I felt like they were being dismissive. All the cashiers were having a conversation with each other and not greeting the the customers. But I get it, I've worked retail before. SO, I tell her I want to return, but there's an issue with my sweater. I ordered three items in total, the other two came with the price tags ATTACHED to the clothes, but when I took this particular sweater out of the bag, the white price tag was just in there. I'm assuming it was a mistake on the F21 shipping warehouse's part, because the price tag wasn't ripped off the plastic attachment piece or anything--the plastic wasn't even there! So maybe they just forgot to attach it? IDK, it's not like I work in their warehouse. Anyways, the female cashier told me they can't accept any returns on items with the price tag cut off. Why would I cut the price tag off something that literally just arrived in the mail, that doesn't even fit me/flatter my body? It's COMMON SENSE to ANYONE that has ever bought clothes before that you don't remove the tag on something you're going to return! Of course I didn't say that because I didn't wanna come off as rude, so I explained my theory that the warehouse just forgot to attach it. She says: Uhhh yeah. I'm pretty sure that's not how it happened. She had on the rudest matter-of-fact tone, insinuating that I cut the tag off and wore it. Uhhh no. I didn't really know how I was supposed to prove it came with the tag off, so we went back and forth a little until she finally decided to examine the F21 label on the shirt and saw that there was no hole in it (which there would've been if the price tag had indeed been attached with the plastic piece). Anyways, I was right. We proceeded with the return and she needed my credit card to refund the money, but then she asked for my ID. I have no problem with this usually, since it's part of the job, but I, along with my friends, have returned online purchases made with our credit cards before and have never been asked to see ID. This practice is reasonable, but it shouldn't be enforced in a discriminatory manner like the cashier chose to do. Either do it on every return or don't do it at all. And she was scrutinizing my ID hard, for 5 minutes I swear! I got my money back in the end, but her attitude was showing during the rest of the interaction. Definitely not something you want to deal with when doing holiday shopping or trying to get in the festive mood. This particular store really lacks in customer service. I recently bought a pair of boots, went home, decided I didn't like them, and went back 2 days later to return them. When I got to the front of the line, the employee told me that shoes were not returnable. She also told me that it was written in the store policy on the receipt. The receipt said that jewelry and sale merchandise were final sale, which I understood. Nowhere did it say that shoes were also final sale, which I told her. She then told me that shoes qualified as an accessory, which classified them as final sale. First of all, who would know to think that shoes were an accessory? And second, the receipt did not say that accessories were final sale. She then just told me she couldn't help me, and brushed me away. These are things that customers dont know about. The reason why they have such disorganization is because customers there are so lazy. I used to work retail so i know how its like. Customers drop things on the floor and dont give a shit about picking them back up. Or they bring 20items into the fitting rooms and only buy one thing. there are limited employees to help clean up the mess on the floor because there isnt enough payroll for more employees to work. Customers will pick out an item and place and 2 minutes later will leave it somewhere randomly.. that makes it even harder because that item probably doesnt belong in that spot and if another customer is trying to look for an item and a size and can't find it, its probably some lazy ass customer left it somewhere else in the store and was to lazy to put it back in its designated place. read more

Don't understand why need the receipt in order to exchange an item. They stated it would take away from their inventory???? Huh?? So, you need a receipt to exchange and cannot return any items for full refund at all. So again I ask, what is the point of having a receipt for an exchange of an item that has the tags still on them and never worn? Make you think the employees must take items home during inventory time that is not accounted for. Wow! I will not shop here again...ever! Also, bought a shirt from there, washed it once and now have holes in the sleve and not on the seam where you would think it would be. The holes are in the middle of the sleeve. I've been to this location twice within the month and it has not changed. The customer service was okay. Nobody greeted me or asked if I needed help at all, but it's understandable since the store is rather chaotic. The cashier was friendly though. There was clothing on the floor everywhere with little to no effort to be picked up by the employees. The shoes, i didn't even want to look through. They were everywhere like a tornado blew through them. There didn't seem to be any order of how the clothing was on the racks so it was quite frustrating. If you saw something you liked, there was one of them in that spot, so unless you want to continue hunting, you'd better hope it's your size. There was no seasonal sections, no order whatsoever. The racks were so tight you could barely pull it aside to look at the clothing-and if you took it out, good luck getting it back in there! Also, the displays with the clothing folded on them were a mess with stray clothing piled on top so you had to dig through there too. I looked in the plus size section and it was very minimal. Not too much good stuff there at all. However, parts of it did have a bit more order and it wasn't as messy as the rest of the store. The good parts of this store is the availability in plus, men's, and whatever else. Also forever 21 is just a good store with cheap prices and cute clothes for a large range of sizes and age. After my mom met up with me so she could pay for my things after taking a visit from another store, she noticed some cute things but decided to move on so we could leave. Also, the jewelry is cheap as well! I got a necklace for $4, and there's some cheaper. I was also disappointed to see a huge ring of hair ties for just $2 AFTER I checked out! Man did I miss out. Although it's messy, I think it's worth to come in here but don't expect to be in and out so fast. The sizes can be pretty consistent (in the shirts at least) so you could try to just order online. This company is so badly run. The mangers don't help you. They just walk by and watch you struggle. This location is the worst. Most of the managers don't even know where the clothing goes or where you can find what your looking for. They mess up peoples schedules and schedule you out of your availability. They hire people and than they don't give them the rule book or tell them any rules. When they hire people they give them 10$ more dollars than the people that were there before them. They even have no safety teams and have boxes of stock so high that they have to use the up stairs fitting room as a storage room. read more

It's evident that Southcenter's Forever 21 customer service is not top priority to their employees. OK, we get you might be tired, have to take care of a lot in the F21 department, or what ever it may be, but that doesn't mean employees need to bring their attitudes into the workplace with them. I experienced poor customer service once again today- as I went up to one of the cashier personnels and she already presented an unwelcoming vibe. Long story short, my debit card wasn't working and she gave me an impatient attitude, by not even choosing alternative routes as I consistently apologized for the wait as I transferred money to my account. I excused MYSELF to the side so that the worker can assist others and once I went back, she said "Uh no, you gotta wait in the back (of the long a**) line, you can't cut these people. Obviously her purpose was to make things harder because she didn't have even common decency or decent customer service. I didn't end up purchasing anything and left. My experience there went from 8.00 to 0.00 REAL Q.U.I.C.K. That right there is how Forever 21 gets a bad rep. Already reported to the customer service as well- I'll be surprised if they do anything about it! read more
