This location has possibly the worst customer service and client treatment ever and deserves no…read morestars. To be fair, the store and the products are great, we frequently shop this brand in Seattle and also Portland. But some of the staff at this North Bend outlets location are awful. We encountered two of the grouchiest women ever and one I think named Chanda, was the cashier? Our four kids were energetic (in reality, 2 were fine, and 2 were rather energetic) and probably moving too fast through the store, but the employee decided to scold them in such a mean way rather then asking us politely to watch out for our kids. She made a public scene and others were all staring at us. People weren't staring cause of the kids zipping down the aisle, they were staring because of the audacity and nerve that the employee had towards a 3 and 5 year old. I mean, if you're going to work at store for Children then duuuhh, be understanding and civilized when families come in to shop and bring their kids. We went there on February 13th at 11:30am. This company needs to think about hiring some FRIENDLY employees. We will never go back to this store!

I love this store. It has a wonderful, eclectic collection of unique stuff (Never mind what the…read morecategory above says. t's much more than that. It, honestly, defies categorization). Every time I go in, there's always something new and interesting. And, invariably, there's at least one "I gotta have that." The owner, Shelly, is a jewel as well. She's funny and engaging. She clearly loves what she does and has unquestionable knack for selecting the right merchandise and presenting it well. She has an excellent eye for the unique without going over the top into 'weird'. I think she's as much curator as she is proprietor. I also appreciate the fact that much of merchandise comes from local & domestic artists and other small businesses. Even the stuff that is made overseas comes through small suppliers rather than the big distribution channels that bring in the same old stuff. If you've driven or walked by without stopping in, do yourself a favor and check it out. It won't cost a dime. Well, until you see that "I gotta have that" thing. But don't worry, she'll go easy on you.

My boyfriend had more to choose from though, yet the prices were slightly discounted. Not a bad store, but not the best selection of Volcom.
