Expect the same skater vibe as with all its locations. I love Casual Industries, so every time I visit a Zumiez, I have to check out what new swag Casual Industries has here. Most notably, the last time I visited, I was able to get some Sonics and Seahawks Casual Industries sweatshirts here, and still get compliments today when I wear them. But they have a ton of cool stuff with the brands you like: Imperial Motion, Neff, Nixon, etc, including skateboards and gear here. Staff are always friendly, social and very knowledgeable about the merchandise here. The store is always clean and organized, with well-stocked shelves and racks. I enjoy visiting this Zumiez location when I'm in the Valley.

I came in to buy some work clothes, and exchange a pair of pants from a previous shopping trip that still have the security tag on them. I obviously hadn't worn them due to the security tag, and I wanted to go a size up because I have had other banana republic pants shrink up since my last purchase. When I attempted the exchange, I was told I was outside of the return window. I could understand this logic if the item was no longer stocked, but they literally had the same item and size on the rack. There wasn't even an apology for leaving the security tag on them preventing me from even wearing the pants without me driving 20 miles to correct their mistake. Just rude excuses of "checks and balances" from the incompetent manager who was also publicly rude to the cashier before she just walked away from me. Isn't an exchange a "check and balance" of your inventory? Horrible customer service

Overall it's solid quality and a good value; comfortable, has every pocket you'd want (with zippers) and is performing well so far.

The employee was at the front register on his phone the entire time, which we didn't really mind. We were able to bring our dog in, so glad to know it's dog-friendly. Overall, the women's apparel isn't as much as the men's. It wasn't my ideal place for when I was looking for some shorts and sun dresses. My boyfriend had more to choose from though, yet the prices were slightly discounted. Not a bad store, but not the best selection of Volcom.

I think it could break with time. Another general complaint is that Altus only offers "large" and "extra large" waist measurements... I'm 6-foot-7 with a 34" waist, so I wish there was a "extra-tall, medium" option, considering that Altus claims to make clothes 'specifically designed for tall men over 6'3" who don't need the "big" found in traditional "big & tall" sizes'. The "extra-tall, large" fits okay, though they are a little baggy.
