OUTSTANDING SERVICE! Forever in Stone did an amazing job with my parents headstone. The entire process from beginning to end was such a smooth process especially because I live in Yuba County, almost a 2 1/2 hr drive. I initially went in to start the process with Jon, explained everything that we wanted and the deadline we needed the headstone by, the rest of my communication with Jon was thru text messages and by phone sometimes if more clarification was needed when we were designing the headstone, adding this and that or removing something, all done by text message and Jon was very patient thru the whole process because every detail creating our headstone had to go thru approval from me to all my siblings. There was no limitation to what they couldn't do. Jon also very knowledgeable about the type of headstone he would recommend due to the hard water in Central Valley cemeteries, he wanted us to have what was best for years to come that will last and not fade away in a year or less. The actual day we went to see the actual headstone, just blew us away, the back of my parents headstone was breathtaking! The images of my parents matched the picture to a tee! We just had the unveiling of the headstone and the 1 year memorial celebration for my parents and the compliments that we received from everyone in attendance saying how beautiful it was, some had never seen that type of design and everyone took pictures with their families posing at the front and back of my parents headstones. The pricing was affordable as well for a double headstone. My father-in-law loved lighthouses... he went back to the Azores almost every year and always took a picture in front of one. So when it came time to design his headstone, we knew we wanted something that truly represented him. The owner sat with us and designed a beautiful lighthouse headstone from scratch. He took his time, got every detail just right, and made sure it was exactly what we wanted. What really stood out was how much he actually cared. He called us from his personal phone, even on weekends and after hours, just to check in and make sure everything was perfect. That kind of service is rare. And the pricing? Way cheaper than anywhere else we looked, but the quality was better. You can just tell the headstones they make are built to last. Even now, long after everything was done, we still keep in touch with the owner. He's helped us figure out the best way to clean the stone without damaging it. I called Mr. Martinez to have my Mom and brothers headstones cleaned. I had two other people look at the headstones and after seeing them I was told they would not clean them. I sent pictures to Mr. Martinez and within an hour I had a quote which was reasonable. He was very professional. He scheduled that day and then kept in contact as the date approached. He was on time. What an incredible experience at Forever in Stone with JonLuke. I was clueless and overwhelmed by the process of picking out and designing two headstones for my loved ones, and JonLuke was extremely helpful and patient as he worked with me through the process. His vision and talent were on point as to what was hoped for. Thank you to JonLuke of Forever In Stone for expertly and efficiently helping us replace a headstone that had been damaged by another company's mistake more than 2 years before. The owner of the previous company could not be contacted, and had abandoned the business and disappeared without following through on correcting the damage. Jon Luke was able to determine from texted photos and our records what was needed for the replacement, sent me photos of the work in progress, which required engraving a new stone, pouring a concrete base for the stone, attaching the two parts and then delivering and placing it at the cemetery. Communication with Jon Luke was excellent, and he had the entire job completed in about 1 week. The entire experience could not have been better! If you're looking for a headstone, Forever in Stone is top notch. John was amazing at accommodating me since I have small children and couldn't meet in person. My requests were sent via text and we had a few conversations over the phone to get my parent's marker customized. Purchasing a headstone isn't necessarily a fun experience but my experience with John at Forever Stone was nothing short of amazing. The cemetery I chose, to lay my daughter to rest in, was dragging their feet and using Covid as an excuse to delay getting her headstone ordered.
