I did not leave a review in 2022 when we buried our son, despite the lack of compassion and…read moreprofessionalism we experienced from the staff during an already devastating time. However, after what has happened since then, I feel it is important to share our experience. We ordered my son's tombstone immediately and paid for it in full, totaling $9,800. The payment was made in two parts: one payment by credit card and one payment in cash. The tombstone was installed less than a year later. Approximately two years after the installation, the tombstone was removed. When I contacted the company regarding the removal, I was told they had no record of the cash payment. Unfortunately, due to the amount of time that had passed, I no longer had the receipt or documentation for the cash portion of the payment. After going back and forth with them for nearly a year. In an effort to resolve the matter fairly, I offered to split the difference, I don't understand how the company would've released the tombstone without them making the payment and then to come back two years later. They declined that offer. Ultimately, because they claimed they had no record of the cash payment, I was required to pay that same $4,000 cash portion again, with interest, in order to have my son's tombstone reinstalled. This has been an extremely painful and disappointing experience for our family. Losing a child is already unimaginable, and having to deal with poor communication, inadequate recordkeeping, additional interest charges, and a lack of empathy during such a sensitive matter made the situation even more difficult.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! Forever in Stone did an amazing job with my parents headstone. The entire…read moreprocess from beginning to end was such a smooth process especially because I live in Yuba County, almost a 2 1/2 hr drive. I initially went in to start the process with Jon, explained everything that we wanted and the deadline we needed the headstone by, the rest of my communication with Jon was thru text messages and by phone sometimes if more clarification was needed when we were designing the headstone, adding this and that or removing something, all done by text message and Jon was very patient thru the whole process because every detail creating our headstone had to go thru approval from me to all my siblings. There was no limitation to what they couldn't do. Jon also very knowledgeable about the type of headstone he would recommend due to the hard water in Central Valley cemeteries, he wanted us to have what was best for years to come that will last and not fade away in a year or less. The actual day we went to see the actual headstone, just blew us away, the back of my parents headstone was breathtaking! The images of my parents matched the picture to a tee! We just had the unveiling of the headstone and the 1 year memorial celebration for my parents and the compliments that we received from everyone in attendance saying how beautiful it was, some had never seen that type of design and everyone took pictures with their families posing at the front and back of my parents headstones. The pricing was affordable as well for a double headstone. If you are looking for headstone for a loved one, I highly recommend Forever In Stone, they will make it happen for you and the outcome will be incredibly beautiful! Thank you Forever In Stone for creating the last gift we gave to our parents.

Stay away from this scamming place, first bristol hospice told after our mother had passed away…read morethat if we used eaton it would be 975 and they bristol hospice would pay 400 of that, well after arriving at that crappy funeral home I was given a different price of over 1100 and I was told that if I couldn't get the finances they would send her off to the coroner, needless to say my husband was livid and no longer wished to do business with such an unprofessional and out of line business such as that, so I called the county coroner and they even confirmed that it must be some kind of a scam between bristol hospice and eaton family funeral home, and the corner said they would cremate her for us for 735 and that we would have to pick up her ashes from Bay area cremation in Stockton which is well worth the drive to Stockton, also Rick Cunningham of Cunninghams quoted 875 to cremate her but wasn't sure if eaton would release her body, so we decided to let the coroner get her out of that awful dreadful place and the corner was not very happy with eaton and said that they would be waiting for her body from eaton, and that garbage dump is no place to be taking your loved ones to and they are so incompetent that it's unlikely that you would even receive the correct ashes and that's the biggest reason my husband doesn't trust them, because they're a bunch of idiots over there with the intelligence and demeanor of a juvenile and not an adult. Do not use this business they prey on people at the worst most difficult time of your life and both bristol hospice and eaton family funeral home should be investigated for running a scam on families.
